Little Gorilla informed Kaiju about the effect of his Third Golden Eye and the latter was stunned. "Nice one!" Kaiju exclaimed with an indifferent tone, baffling Little Gorilla. However, the latter was not given a chance to ponder about it as he opened his third eye and it discharged a dense beam of light, bolting towards the Luminari.

The Luminari was taken aback and stared at the dense beam of light in a daze. It was exuding a feeling that once she was exposed by it, death would be imminent. She poured more mana on her barrier to strengthen it, but alas, the dense beam of light seemed to have ignored it and went straight towards her.

The Luminari was in disbelief. To think she would die in the hands of the lower race? She could not believe it. Furthermore, she was the only remaining Luminari existing in the Hellish Trial, which caused her to be desperate in allying with the Overlord beast.

She recalled her comrades, who died in the hands of the other higher races. She vowed to them she would complete the Trial on their behalf, but to think she would die–not by the hands of the other higher races, at that?

In fact, the other higher races did not think the Luminari only had one contestant. However, they knew their numbers must have decreased as it was difficult to spot even one of them. Since they had another agenda and conflicts against the other higher races, they did not put a lot of mind into it.

The dazzling light blinding a hundred meters in diameter was soon shrinking. Kaiju stared at the tear of the Luminari that soon disintegrated into the particles of light with an indifferent face. He glanced at Little Gorilla and forced a smile at him.

However, Little Gorilla smiled awkwardly when he perceived Kaiju was forcing a smile, for, despite his lips curving upward, his eyes were soulless. He scratched the back of his head, knowing Kaiju meant his gratitude.

Kaiju was indeed thankful for Little Gorilla’s help, especially that dense beam of light enough to cover the human sized Luminari. Although Kaiju could have activated the Ethereal Penetration when he neared the barrier of the Luminari, with the latter’s pool of mana, it would have been proven useless. In fact, Kaiju thought in a split of seconds to retreat and asked for Snow’s backups.

Indeed, being a Beastmaster was convenient, he could not fight alone. He felt embarrassed at the thought of always needing an aid but since he was not like Griffin, he swallowed his pride. At least, he was proud of his pets, who were on the same level as him, able to fight by his side.
