Chapter 56: Snow’s Killing Intent
Chapter 56: Snow’s Killing Intent
"This guy..." Qwanisha’s face turned ugly. "Just how greedy can he get? Also, is it almost a decade long? I don’t hear about overpowering skills such as this. It’s only a Beastmaster on Rare grade, right? Why does it seem to be on the level of Epic?"
Snow and Little Gorilla were silent, not knowing what to say. Snow stared at Kaiju filled with worries while Little Gorilla’s eyes were sparkling, staring at his Master. Although his Master did not respond to his question yesterday, he was still looking forward to the day his Master worshipped his God.
"Nevermind. He might just want to escape from the training."
"Master is not like that!" Snow instantly retorted. "He is also suffering right now. He can’t even have a break."
Qwanisha rolled her eyes and said, "That was a joke, Snow. You take everything literally when it comes to your Master. Do you like him?"
"O-Of course!" Snow suddenly felt her cheeks burned, lowering her head in shyness. Qwanisha was speechless.
She shook her head and shrugged. "Whatever, I’ll task you two to guard him until he recovers, then. I will be hunting more Thralls. I’ll be back in... four days."
Snow and Little Gorilla were elated by her arrangement as the former hastily said, "Thank you, Big Sister Qwanisha!"
Qwanisha was stunned, smiled at Snow brightly, humming in delight as she soon vanished into the shadows. A second passed, Snow broke the silence. She hushed, "Big Brother Gorilla, can you guard Master for... a minute? I’ll take care of something first."
Little Gorilla was stunned and hastily replied, "Little Sister Snow, will you really be able to catch up to him? That’s an agility type beast, you know? Furthermore, it’s not only him who is watching us."
"They are more observing the panicking sheep now." Snow snorted. "Even if I manage to kill it, his death will remain unknown to his clan. Have you forgotten our teachers revealed that the other higher races are actually fighting for each other in the dark?"
Little Gorilla sighed. "I can’t and won’t stop you, Little Sister Snow. Just come back alive."
"Don’t worry. That wolf is weaker than our Master." Snow grinned.
Snow bolted towards the direction they last spotted the werewolf. Snow has been restraining herself, especially her killing intent as it might be noticed by her Master. Surely, her Master would want to prevent her from getting involved with other higher races.
’But possessing a killing intent to my Master? There’s no way I will let that slide.’ Snow used her Swift Dash skill. Her Swift Dash skill highly depended on her agility points, so she could use it now seven times with three minutes to cool down.
In just three swift dash, she spotted the scurrying Grey werewolf, who had just no idea he was now targeting. But he instantly perceived the thick killing intent exuded by Snow’s bloody crimson eyes.

"Hmm? Who dares to follow me?" The Grey Werewolf’s eyes sharpened, sliding his vision to the back. However, he was startled to spot a shadow of a snake slithering towards his position, without even trying to hide her presence at all.
He was frightened. Snow’s strength was not hidden at all. His beast instinct was screaming to avoid Snow at all cost, even utilizing his sprinting skill to dash away from her. However, Snow’s Swift Dash skill made her appear instantly at the Grey Werewolf.
The Grey Werewolf used a skill to coat his claws with red mana, causing his claws to burst with flames, swiping it at Snow. However, Snow skillfully twisted her body in the air and bit at the Grey Werewolf’s arm.

At the same time, her Chilling Aura passive skill activated.

The Grey Werewolf did not possess any ice resistance from Snow at all and suffered the consequence of interacting with Snow’s frostbite and venom. His arm was bitten, and poison began to creep through his veins.
To worsen it all, as the poison spread, frostbite followed, making his right arm disabled and numb. The Grey Werewolf gritted his teeth and opened his mouth wide, blaze manifested in the form of orb, expanding inside his mouth.
At the same time, the Grey Werewolf entered a berserk state, an innate skill Werewolf possessed, elevating all his attributes two times. The Grey Werewolf was determined to fight back at all.
Snow, on the other hand, detached her teeth from the Grey Werewolf’s disabled arm and faced the expanding blaze as she opened her mouth. Snow conjured her skill, Glacial Venom Barrage, summoning a mist of frost filled with toxicity.
Snow’s passive effect, Frost-Poison Fusion activated.

She did not learn from a strong mage for nothing, with her Teacher’s guidance, Snow learned a ton of skills.
Simultaneously, the Grey Werewolf released the ball of fire and Snow released the mist filled with frost and toxicity.
When it collided, it could not cancel each other out, but the mist managed to push it half a meter before it exploded.
Bang!
Snow was flung away, the Grey Werewolf suffered a ton of damage from the explosion. Although he has fire resistance skill, the poison and frost spread towards him and was inhaled through his lungs. His fate was determined.
The Grey Werewolf feared death. He had always been cautious inside the Trial, even avoiding to fight against the other races–would back down even from an argument if he had to.
Now, he did not want to die. Hence, without hesitation, he tilted his head upward and inhaled a lot of oxygen and was about to roar.
