Disguised As A Boy To Attend Belmont High School
Chapter 81: The Search Begins.

Chapter 81: The Search Begins.

The flames engulfed the house, casting a golden glow over the surrounding landscape.

Lucas whispered, "It’s done. Henry is officially deceased."

The group nodded as they stood in silence, their faces illuminated by the flickering light. The air was thick with the smell of smoke and burning wood.

"Are we going to keep standing here though?" Olive asked, her arms crossed over her chest as the continue to watch the house burn.

"We’re running out of time. Let’s take Henry to Aiden’s house and return to school before the CCTV cameras are activated," Mark urged, his voice tinged with urgency.

The group agreed, heaving heavy sighs, their expressions resolute.

They quickly piled into the car, their movements swift and purposeful. As they sped away, the burning house disappeared into the distance, leaving behind a trail of smoke and secrets.

The car screeched to a halt in front of an imposing structure that towered over the landscape like a fortress after driving for thirty minutes. The group quickly exited the car and hurried into the mansion, their footsteps echoing off the walls.

Inside, the mansion exuded a sense of luxurious simplicity, with clean lines, high ceilings, and abundant natural light streaming through the windows. The walls displayed a striking collection of contemporary art.

"Here we are," Aiden said, his smile gleaming in the soft light of the living room. "There’s no staff or security around, so you’ll have complete privacy here Henry."

Olive’s gaze scanned the living room, her eyes lingering on the artwork. "This place is incredible but how do you keep it so clean without any staff while you’re in school?"

"That’s because I call cleaners online. It’s just that simple. They clean and I pay for their service." Aiden replied with a smile while Olive nodded in agreement.

"We’ve carried out our plan effectively. Everything is set and now it remains for our target to fall into our trap." Mark said, his expression determined and his lip curved into an evil smile.

"Our plan isn’t effective yet until our target falls into the trap. Until then, you guys should return back to school and wait for the big game to begin." Henry chimed in, a smirk on his face.

"Take care of yourself, Henry. You’ll be free once everything is resolved," Olive reassured him, her voice steady as she patted Henry on the shoulder while Henry nodded in agreement.

"Let’s hurry," Lucas whispered urgently. "We need to return to school before the cameras start working again."

The group then left the mansion, leaving Henry behind. They rushed through the empty streets, and got into Lucas’s car. Feeling the adrenaline pumping through their veins as they raced against the clock.

Approaching the school, the dim lights of the CCTV cameras can be spotted, dormant but poised to activate at any moment. Time was of the essence.

They then got off Lucas car and quickly moved towards the back of the school building and jumped the fence in.

"Quick, let’s move!" Mark urged, his voice low but enough for the group to hear as they burst into the school, headed straight for the 3RM special room, and secured the door behind them.

"We made it!" Olive exclaimed, leaning against the door to catch her breath.

Mark checked his watch. "We have five more minutes before the cameras switch back on. Glad we made it back to school on time"

The group settled into chairs, their hearts still racing from the intense sprint.

Although everything went according to their plan, they still couldn’t deny that what they did tonight was very bad. They couldn’t help but think about how the family of the deceased would feel once they learn about it later in.

"Are you all thinking what I’m thinking?" Olive was the first to ask, breaking the awkward silent in the room. "I guess you all are judging from your silence."

Lucas could only heave a heavy sigh as he continued to ponder on his actions as well as Mark and Aiden who remained speechless, their eyes downcast.

"Alright, let’s all take a bath and head to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long day," Aiden suggested, cutting everyone off their train of thoughts.

He then stood up from the chair and took off his shirt to reveal his broad chest and a rose tattoo on his arm. He then took off his trousers, revealing his little brother, who was clearly asleep.

"Can’t you undress in the bathroom?" Lucas asked, visibly frustrated as he watched Aiden walked round the room, grabbing the necessities for his bath, his little brother dangling between his legs.

"Why should I? I’ve undressed here before," Aiden replied, looking puzzled before heading to the bathroom.

"Let’s just shower together," Mark suggested, quickly removing his shirt to show his chest without a tattoo and his pants, revealing his little brother, also asleep, as he ran towards the bathroom.

"Can’t you just look away? You keep staring," Lucas scolded, his eyes fixed on Olive once Aiden and Mark were out of sight.

"Why should I?" Olive asked, raising her eyebrows in confusion even though her heart was beating fast.

"Why not?" Lucas raised his voice in frustration before calming down. "You’re a girl, it’s not appropriate for you to see that. How can you be comfortable with it?" he added, speaking in a softer tone.

"I’ve seen it before, it’s not a big deal," Olive replied bluntly, leaving Lucas shocked.

"Yeah, I know you’ve seen it before, but you shouldn’t keep looking," Lucas said seriously, making Olive gulp nervously.

"Just then, Mark and Aiden emerged from the bathroom, their younger brother now fully awake, the impressive size and length almost causing Olive to gasp, but she quickly looked away.

The room suddenly became hot even though the air conditioner was put on.

"Can’t you guys get dressed in the bathroom?" Lucas exclaimed upon seeing them. "And why are you both aroused? Did you do something in there?"

"Oh common , we didn’t. Sometimes it just happens," Mark replied as they both started getting dressed.

"Are you guys not going to clean up after tonight’s operation?" Aiden inquired.

"I’ll just sleep like this," Olive responded, lying down on the couch with her back to the guys.

"That’s a bit dirty, but it’s your choice," Aiden said, his gaze lingering on Olive. "What about you, Lucas? Are you going to sleep like that too?"

"I’ll clean up later. Do you want to share my bed, Olive? There are only three beds," Lucas offered.

"No, I’m fine here," Olive replied firmly.

"Alright then, goodnight," Lucas said before heading to the bathroom to clean up.

The morning sunlight filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow over the room. The air was crisp and fresh, carrying the sweet scent of blooming flowers.

Outside, the birds sang their cheerful melodies, creating a chorus of joy and hope. However, amidst the peaceful ambiance, a sense of unease lingered, hinting that something was amiss.

The shadows cast by the morning light seemed to conceal secrets, and the silence felt heavy, broken only by distant sirens. It was a typical morning, yet it carried a foreboding sense of uncertainty.

Lucas woke up and noticed Olive was not on the couch where she slept the night before.

Assuming she had gone to take a bath, he sighed and mentioned it to himself. He then checked on Aiden and Mark, who were still asleep, before heading to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

(A reminder for everyone to gather at the assembly hall immediately)

The announcement echoed through the school, prompting Aiden and Mark to wake up abruptly. They saw Lucas already dressed in his school uniform.

"Good morning!" Lucas greeted with a smile. "Did you both sleep well?"

Aiden groaned, "You could’ve at least woken us up, man." He yawned and headed to the bathroom with his towel.

"Where’s Arthur?" Mark inquired.

"I guess he returned back to the dorm to get ready for the day," Lucas replied cheerfully. "Meet me at the assembly hall when you’re done," he added before leaving the room.

________

The assembly hall buzzed with activity as students, teachers, and police officers filled the space. Principal Mr. Philip stood at the podium with a serious expression. Lucas quietly took a seat at the back.

"Welcome, everyone," Mr. Philip began, his voice resonating in the room. "We are here today because of Henry’s disappearance. It is crucial that we find him as soon as possible."

The room filled with murmurs as students exchanged knowing looks.

"The search is commencing now, and we have pledged our cooperation with the police officers," Mr. Philip continued. "Together, we will find Henry."

Lucas felt a jolt of anxiety as he caught the eye of a police officer scanning the room. He quickly looked away, trying to blend in.

"The police have discovered that the school’s CCTV camera was tampered with, so the investigation will start here," Mr. Philip added.

The hall fell silent, all eyes fixed on Mr. Philip. Lucas sensed the tension rising, knowing that their plan was about to be tested.

Aiden, Olive, and Mark slipped into the hall, joining Lucas. They exchanged nervous glances, their determination evident on their faces.

"Let’s work together to solve this," Mr. Philip concluded. "And remember, anyone involved in Henry’s disappearance will face consequences."

"Assembly dismissed!" Mr. Philip announced, and the students began to leave, gearing up for the search operation.

"I have something important to discuss with Mr. Philip. You guys go and prepare," Lucas said, his resolve clear. The others nodded, understanding his intentions.
