Disguised As A Boy To Attend Belmont High School
Chapter 72: The Shadow Of Belmont

Chapter 72: The Shadow Of Belmont

"You’re quite curious, but it’s okay for you to know since you’ll soon be intertwined with your friend’s destiny. Olivia was poisoned, leading to her demise," Mr. Philip revealed with a chuckle.

"Poisoned? Poisoned by who?" Henry questioned, his body tense.

Mr. Philip paused for a moment before replying. "The same individual who took the life of your friend Desmond also took Olivia’s."

Henry’s mind went blank for a moment as he struggled to comprehend the shocking revelation. "Samson killed Olivia?" he exclaimed, his face filled with disbelief.

Mr. Philip nodded and smiled as he responded. "Desmond was supposed to have died in prison, but he miraculously came back to life."

"What did Desmond and Olivia do? Why did Samson kill them?" Henry asked, his face a mix of shock and anger. "Samson is Lucas’s friend, how could he kill his friend’s sister?"

Mr. Philip smirked and sighed heavily. "You’re quite curious, aren’t you? Do you know that you have to die after learning this truth?"

Despite feeling fear, Henry was determined to uncover the truth. He was already captured, and there seemed to be no way out unless a miracle happened.

Mr. Philip noticed Henry’s curiosity and decided to reveal the truth, knowing that he would ultimately have to kill him.

"Belmont had always been a co-ed school, but the genders were separated after Olivia passed away. Mr. Philip started with a grave expression. "Actually Samson was the father of Olivia’s child."

Henry’s body went rigid, tears streaming down his face as the words hit him like a dagger to the heart.

"Are you serious? Samson got Olivia pregnant, not Desmond?" Henry shouted in anger.

"What’s the point of lying to you? Samson is actually the father of Olivia’s baby, not Desmond. Olivia didn’t die because of the pregnancy, but because she knew a secret about she’s not supposed to know. I killed the school cleaner during that time, and Olivia caught me in the act. Olivia and the school cleaner were close, and Olivia considered her very important. When Olivia saw me with the lifeless body of the cleaner, she threatened to expose me to the world, so I had to eliminate her." Mr. Philip revealed this shocking information, sending chills down Henry’s spine.

Mr. Philip then laughed out loud. "After Olivia’s death, someone had to take the blame, so Desmond was the perfect scapegoat. Desmond and Olivia were dating at the time, even though Samson had always loved Olivia. Samson had actually raped Olivia a few months earlier, but Olivia never told Desmond or anyone else. She later informed Samson that she was pregnant with his child, but it turns out she had also told Desmond, and they were trying to escape out of the country together."

"What?! So this is the truth. You’ve been hiding the truth from everyone," Henry questioned with a smirk, struggling to catch his breath.

Mr. Philip casually lit a cigar, exhaling smoke as he spoke. "Samson confided in me about his involvement with the George family’s daughter. It was easy to manipulate him by convincing him he was still a minor and would face prison time if Olivia accused him of rape."

"Olivia was already aware of my crime of killing the cleaner, so I saw an opportunity to eliminate her before she could expose me. I deceived Samson into taking a pill under the guise of an abortion pill, but it was actually a lethal poison. He complied out of fear of prison and my threat to disown him if he didn’t."

Henry’s anger flared as he realized the extent of Mr. Philip’s manipulation. "You framed Desmond for your crimes and used your own son to cover up your misdeeds. You orchestrated the death of an innocent girl. How could you be so heartless?" Henry’s voice trembled with rage as he struggled against the strong grip of the burly men restraining him."

"Heartless? Aren’t we all heartless at times like this?" Mr. Philip questioned with a smirk. "After Olive’s death, Samson had to live with the guilt of killing her, so I advised him to frame Desmond, which he did. Desmond took the fall while I left the country with my two sons, only to later hear that Desmond had been released from prison. That’s why I returned to the country with Samson and Thomas to eliminate Desmond once and for all."

"You’re a monster!!!" Henry spat, his expression filled with disdain. "Even animals exhibit better behavior than humans. You humans are truly evil."

"Save your strength for the afterlife and say hello to your friends for me," Mr. Philip said with a smirk before turning to the burly men and giving them a signal, which they understood. They lifted Henry from his knees.

"Take him away from the airport and find a remote location to dispose of him," Mr. Philip ordered. "Ensure that his body cannot be found. I will send your payments to your accounts."

"Yes, boss!" the burly men chorused with a bow and then began to escort Henry away.

"Let go of me, you bastards!" Henry yelled as he struggled to break free from their grip. The burly men paid no attention and continued to drag him, eventually using duct tape to silence him and prevent any noise.

Meanwhile, Olive was settled in her dorm, ready to call it a day after a long school session.

Is Henry really upset because I sat with Lucas today? Olive pondered with a heavy sigh. I didn’t even see him all day. Where could he be hiding?

Knock knock knock

The sound of knocking on the door snapped Olive out of her thoughts.

"Who’s there?" Olive asked, frustration evident as she quickly got up from bed.

With no immediate response, she asked again, "Who’s there? Is that Henry?"

"Will you open the door now?" Lucas’s voice boomed from outside, causing Olive to let out a sigh of frustration and disappointment.

"What does he want now?" Olive muttered to herself before opening the door.

Lucas stood before her, holding two travel bags and other items that obscured his face.

"Can you move aside, please? I have to drop these luggages as my hands are aching," Lucas requested, prompting Olive to step back and allow him to enter.

"You can help me bring those bags in. Thanks!" Lucas said, causing Olive’s expression to change to anger. However, she decided to pull the two traveling bags inside, closing the door behind her. She let go of the bags, causing them to fall to the ground with a thud as Olive pushed them towards Lucas’s bed.

"Be careful! They’re quite expensive." Lucas warned as he picked up one of the bags and started unpacking and organizing its contents in his wardrobe.

"What’s going on?" Olive asked, her hands on her hips in frustration as she stood a few feet away from Lucas.

"What do you mean?" Lucas asked, still unpacking his bag, his expression puzzled as he didn’t face Olive.

"What’s with the bags? Are you moving in again?" Olive asked even though the answer was obvious but she still want to hear the answer from Lucas.

"Yes, I’m moving in again. I should have been living here from the start." Lucas replied, now facing Olive with a warm smile on his face.

"You don’t have to move in here, Lucas. Especially now that you know my true gender." Olive replied with seriousness in her tone.

"That’s all the more reason for me to live here with you. You’re a girl, and it’s only right for someone to live here with you to protect you." Lucas replied.

"Protect me? When did I ever ask for protection? I specifically told you to treat me like the same Arthur you’ve always known." Olive retorted, her face showing a mix of anger and frustration.

"Alright, alright! You don’t need protection. But I’m still staying here. We should share the dorm since we’re roommates after all." Lucas replied, rolling his eyes and going back to unpacking his clothes.

"I knew you’d pull this prince charming act, but I’m not a damsel in distress and I don’t need a prince. But hey, a crazy jerk will always be a crazy jerk."Olive shot back. " You have some ulterior motive, don’t you?"

"What are you implying?" Lucas shot back as he approached her, now standing in close proximity, their eyes meeting. "If you think I’m going to make a move on you, you’re mistaken. I may be a typical teenage guy, but I have self-control and respect for boundaries. I won’t cross any lines or force anything, it goes against my principles as a man."

Olive felt a lump in her throat as she locked eyes with Lucas.

Lucas then walked away, leaving Olive feeling relieved.

"I don’t know what you’re insinuating, but you better watch your behavior or face the consequences," Olive warned before climbing into bed, turning her back to Lucas and closing her eyes, hoping to drift off to sleep.
