Chapter 39: The Newcomers

"You’re insane, Arthur!" Mark exclaimed, still laughing hysterically. "Anyway, let’s drop off our bags in the dorm and head to class."

"Sure, the new principal is strict. Wouldn’t want to get on his bad side on the first day by getting to class late," Olive added with a chuckle.

They both went to their dorms to unload their luggage before heading to class.

"Hey, are you okay?" Olive asked as she sat next to Lucas. "You didn’t say anything before leaving the assembly hall."

"I just wasn’t interested in the speech," Lucas replied with a sigh.

"Alright, students. We have two new additions joining us today," Mr. James announced as he entered the classroom. "Please welcome Samson Philip and Thomas Philip, the sons of our new principal, Mr. Philip."

The students turned their attention to the new arrivals as they entered the room.

A well-dressed guy in Belmont school uniform with dreadlocks, an angular face, green eyes, and full lips entered, along with another guy with curly dark hair, a muscular build, angular face, green eyes, and pink lips, stunning the students with their good looks.

Wow!

They’re so attractive!

Olive couldn’t take her gaze off the new two students.

Why are they so handsome? She thought to herself, her cheeks finished pink.

"Samson and Thomas, please introduce yourselves to the class," Mr. James instructed.

The curly-haired guy, Samson, spoke first, flashing a smile that revealed his charming dimples. "Hi everyone, I’m Samson Philip. Nice to meet you all."

Next, the guy with dreadlocks, Thomas, stepped forward with a bright smile. "And I’m Thomas Philip. It’s great to get to know all of you."

"Alright, guys, go take a seat in the empty chairs," Mr. James directed, and the boys followed his instructions. Samson and Thomas sat together behind Olive and Lucas.

Please open your textbooks to page 12. By the way, the debate and rugby competition will start in three days. I hope you are all ready. Mr. James began the class, causing Olive and Lucas to exchange glances and let out heavy sighs.

The class lasted for forty minutes, while other teachers were taking other classes, and then it was time for the break.

During the break, Olive decided to use the time to rehearse for the debate, as she didn’t have much time to do so at home due to the incident that occurred the previous week, and also to study some textbooks.

"Hi, can I join you?" a voice called out, causing Olive to raise an eyebrow from the book she was reading. It was Samson standing in front of her, with his charming smile and dimples showing.

Olive couldn’t help but be captivated by his good looks. He seemed like an angel sent from heaven or perhaps a devil sent to distract her.

"Hello!" Samson greeted, bringing Olive back from her thoughts.

"Uh, sorry, yes, you can. It’s a free world," Olive replied with a light chuckle as Samson took a seat beside her.

"I’m Samson Philip," he said as he extended his hand for a handshake, which Olive accepted. "I know I’ve introduced myself in class before, but still..."

The students in the library couldn’t take their eyes off Samson. When he sat down next to Olive, they felt a surge of anger but kept their composure as they were in the library.

"I’m Arthur Williams. Welcome to the school," Olive replied with a smile, her hand still in Samson’s hand, which he seemed reluctant to let go of.

"You have such beautiful hands for a guy," Samson remarked with a wink, causing Olive to swallow nervously before pulling her hand away.

Is he trying to flirt with me? Olive wondered, her eyes fixed on Samson, who was also staring back at her.

"And such a smooth and handsome face for a guy," Samson added, biting his lip seductively. Olive felt her heart race as she swallowed hard.

"I can’t help but imagine you as a girl. With your curly brown hair, eyes, and those lips, you’d be a goddess if you hadn’t tied your hair back," Samson continued.

Olive felt herself getting lost in his eyes as their gazes were locked, so she quickly looked away to avoid the temptation of kissing him but she soon turned her gaze back to him. Samson was definitely a distrac

tion.

"Stop teasing me, okay? And please don’t even think about picturing me as a girl. It’s gross, if you ask me," Olive nervously replied, shifting her focus back to her book.

"Sure thing, handsome! So... can you tell me about the school?" Samson raised an eyebrow.

"What do you want to know about the school?" Olive asked, keeping her eyes on her book.

"Everything. I’ve heard about the 3RM and scholarship students. Just give me the lowdown on Belmont," Samson said.

"If you already know about the 3RM and scholarship students, then you pretty much know all there is to know about Belmont. And don’t worry, you’re not a scholarship student, and your dad is the principal," Olive replied matter-of-factly.

"Why are you so focused on your book?" Samson asked as he playfully grabbed the book from the table, causing Olive to lunge forward to grab it back. In the process, she flipped over and almost kissed Samson but ended up being caught by the waist instead.

She quickly pulled away, her heart racing.

The other students in the library, who had been watching the exchange, couldn’t believe that their crush was showing interest in a scholarship student like Olive.

"Here you go! Samuel continued, biting his lips seductively before handing the book back to Olive.

"I don’t know if it’s necessary to tell you this, but I still want to. I’m not gay, okay?" Olive said bluntly, prompting Samson to chuckle lightly. "Maybe you should make a move on them; they’ll accept your proposal immediately," she added, turning her gaze to the other students in the library.

"And who said I’m gay too? Pardon my manners, that’s just how I behave with all genders," Samson replied, prompting Olive to raise an eyebrow before sighing in relief.

"Why are you flirting with me then? You shouldn’t, or someone might get the wrong impression of you."

"I don’t care about people getting wrong impressions about me. I’m used to it already. Besides, this is an all-boys school, and I couldn’t find any pretty ladies around to flirt with, so I came to you. You have this girly feature that made you my target," Samson revealed, causing Olive’s expression to turn angry.

"And besides, I’m straight. I can date both girls and boys, but I love girls the most." He added.

"What the hell? So you’re just here to make fun of me?" Olive asked, anger evident in her voice.

"I’m not here to make fun of you. I’m actually here to make friends with you," Samson revealed, whispering into Olive’s ear, causing her to raise a suspicious eyebrow.
