Chapter 128: Into The Storm.
Louise’s voice broke through her thoughts. "By the way, there’s a party at my house tonight. You’re invited. I’d be happy if you came and you can bring your friends too," he said, his dimples deepening as he smiled.
"Oh, uh, sure!" Olive replied instinctively but instantly regretted it. ’What the heck did I just agree to?’ she thought. ’Every time there’s a party, something bad happens.’

Meanwhile, Lucas made his way back to the classroom where Mark and Lara were still seated, along with other students who were busy chatting.
"Hey! You’re back!" Mark exclaimed, waving at Lucas, who sat down in front of him and Lara. "What’s wrong? You look like a king who had lost his kingdom."
"Yeah," Lucas replied, turning his attention to Lara. "Can I talk to you for a moment? It’s about your friend. I just want to ask a few questions if you don’t mind."
"Oh, it’s about Olive, after all," Mark muttered, his voice barely above a whisper, startling Lucas, whose eyes widened in shock.
"H...ho...," Lucas stammered, swallowing hard. "What are you talking about? Who’s Olive?"
"There’s no need to hide anything anymore." Mark waved his hand dismissively. "I already know she’s a girl, and you’re in love with her."
"Since when?" Lucas asked, raising his eyebrows in surprise before turning to Lara. "You knew about this too?"
"Yeah, I just found out today," Lara admitted with a sigh. "Even Olive doesn’t know that Mark’s figured out she’s a girl."
"Well, now that we all know the secret, I guess you should ask whatever questions you have about her," Mark chimed in, trying to sound casual.
Lucas hesitated for a moment before speaking softly, "Uhmm... Is she always like this?"
"Always like what?" Lara raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued.
"Always this stubborn, always playing hard to get. And... is it true that she hates me?" Lucas’s voice grew more intense as his frustration surfaced. "It’s frustrating, the way she treats me. I’m hurt, and she doesn’t seem to care at all."
Lara sighed deeply, her tone becoming more serious. "I don’t think I’m the right person to tell you that. If I did, it would feel like betraying my friend, and I don’t want to do that."
"Come on! You wouldn’t be betraying her. Please, help me out. I need to understand what her problem is. Maybe I’m doing something wrong that she doesn’t like, which is why she keeps pushing me away," Lucas pleaded, his expression both hopeful and anxious.
"Just assume she has her reasons," Lara replied, her sigh heavier this time. "She really does."
"What reasons?" Lucas pressed, his frustration mounting again. "Please be straightforward."
"I don’t know. That’s for you to figure out," Lara answered firmly, shaking her head.
"Fuck!" Lucas muttered under his breath, his frustration now boiling over.
Mark, sensing the tension, quickly changed the subject. "By the way, Aiden isn’t coming to school. I heard he left yesterday and went back to his mansion."
"And why should I care?" Lucas snapped, his anger now spilling over. "He’s free to do whatever he wants."
"He’s our friend, Lucas," Mark pointed out, his voice laced with worry and concern.
"Friend?! I can’t be friends with a traitor!" Lucas spat, a smirk twisting his lips. "He slept with my ex-girlfriend while we were dating. If I actually loved Anabella and wasn’t just using her to make Olive jealous, Aiden’s betrayal would’ve cut even deeper."
"I heard he’s sick. Not sure what’s wrong, but I guess it’s pretty bad. His butler mentioned it," Mark continued, ignoring Lucas’s tirade.
"Are you deaf, Mark? He’s not my friend, and I don’t give a damn if he’s sick," Lucas yelled. " I only came here to ask about Olive and not to listen to shit about Aiden " he added before storming out of the classroom, leaving Mark and Lara dumbfounded.

Fuming, Lucas made his way to the scholarship students’ cafeteria to look for Olive, knowing she had left the garden earlier. Upon arriving, he saw Olive sitting with Louise, while Jessica and Rachael sat together nearby.
Without hesitation, Lucas stormed over and sat down abruptly, his expression still angry.
"Hey, Lucas!" Louise greeted him with a wide smile, trying to lighten the mood. "What’s wrong with you? You look very angry."
"What are you doing here?" Lucas asked coldly, his gaze fixed solely on Olive, ignoring Louise’s greeting entirely.
"What do you mean?" Olive raised an eyebrow, continuing to eat. "Can’t you see?"
"Lucas rolled his eyes away in distain. " First it was Jessica, and now Louise. You’re so eager to add more people to your little circle, aren’t you?" Lucas sneered.
"What do you mean by that, Lucas?" Olive’s tone grew sharp, her anger rising. "If you have nothing reasonable to say, then please, just take your leave."
"You two need to calm down, or the cafeteria might catch fire from all the heat between you," Jessica joked, chuckling lightly as she observed the tension between them. "Maybe you both need to take some hard drugs to cool off."
"I don’t take drugs!" Lucas and Olive snapped in unison, glaring at Jessica, who swallowed hard at their intensity.
"You sell drugs? I need some." Louise chimed in, his voice barely above a whisper. "I have enough money to purchase it." He added as he hand over a bundle of dollars to Jessica.
"Alright then. Let’s meet each other after school." Jessica suggested with a smile as she collected the money, and quickly put it into her bag before directing her gaze back to Lucas and Olive drama.
"We should start preparing for the project. We don’t have time to waste," Lucas said, his voice lowering slightly, though the anger still lingered. "We can practice in the dorms. It’s quiet there."
"I’m not interested," Olive responded bluntly, not even looking at him.
"Not interested?" Lucas raised an eyebrow. "Do you really think you have a choice? This project is worth a hundred marks. If I were you, I’d take it seriously. You might have won a scholarship that covers your fees, but this project will help with getting into college. They won’t just accept you without proof that you can handle the work. This project is your first step. You should make the most of it."
"I’ll do the project," Olive replied, rolling her eyes in disdain, "but not with you. I never agreed to be your teammate. I’ll work with Louise."
"Really?" Lucas laughed sarcastically. "Anabella’s in charge of the groupings, and she’ll follow my request if I ask her to pair me with you. So, no, you don’t get to choose your teammate."
"Oh, really?" Olive smirked. "You seem to forget that Anabella still wants you. Grouping you with me isn’t her priority when she could make herself your teammate. Do you honestly think she’d pass up the chance to be close to you?"
Louise chuckled, joining in. "Oh yes.. She’ll have to pair me and Arthur together. Anabella is my sister, after all, and she’s more likely to grant my request."
Lucas could only let out a smirk, his expression frustrated as he gaze at Louise and Olive who was smiling like she had won a lottery.
"Arthur? Have you seen Henry?" Rachael suddenly asked, her voice filled with concern as she turned to Olive.
"Oh, him?" Olive shrugged. "The idiot’s in the classroom with his head on the table. I don’t know what’s wrong with him. He’s been so quiet lately."
"I see..." Rachael murmured, her expression sad as she stood up, ready to leave, but Louise grabbed her arm before she could go.
"Leaving already, Rachael?" Louise asked, raising an eyebrow with a playful smile. "You seemed so surprised to see me here, and now you’re trying to slip away without saying much. Don’t you have anything to say to me?"
Rachael swallowed hard, her heart pounding as she felt his fingernails digging into her skin. "What’s there to say? You came to Belmont without telling anyone. I was shocked, yes. So was Anabella, and she was angry about it. I bet Peace will react the same way."
Louise smirked, standing up and stepping closer to her. "Were you really that shocked? Oh yes, you three would be, no doubt."
Olive, Jessica, and Lucas watched the exchange in stunned silence, their eyebrows raised in confusion.
"Louise, stop it. You’re welcome at Belmont, but stay away from me. I’m not interested in your stupid drama," Rachael snapped, her voice steady but filled with warning.
Louise didn’t back down. He leaned in closer, whispering in her ear. "You should really come to my party tonight, darling. You wouldn’t want to regret not showing up. Let’s have some fun like we used to, with Peace and Anabella. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? My arrival at Belmont comes with danger. You wouldn’t want to see that side of me... or do you?"
Rachael stiffened, his words sending a chill down her spine.
