Chapter 115: What I want Is You..

Olive’s mind reeled as Lucas’s lips brushed against hers. The kiss was soft and gentle, yet it spoke volumes about the emotions simmering between them. She couldn’t deny the spark that had been building for so long, but she was wary of getting hurt again.

As Lucas deepened the kiss, Olive’s hands instinctively rose to push him away. But her body seemed to have a mind of its own, and she found herself melting into the kiss instead. Lucas’s arms wrapped around her, pulling her closer, and Olive felt like she was drowning in the intensity of the moment.

Then, as suddenly as it had begun, Lucas broke away, his chest heaving with exertion. "I’m not drunk," he whispered, his eyes blazing. "I’m completely sober, and I know exactly what I’m doing."

Olive’s heart was still racing, her mind reeling from the kiss. She couldn’t believe what had just happened. "What... what are you doing, Lucas?" she stammered, trying to process her emotions.

Lucas’s gaze never wavered. "I’m taking what I want, Olive. And what I want is you."

Her eyes widened as Lucas’s words hung in the air between them. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Was Lucas really saying what she thought he was?

But before she could respond, Lucas’s lips were on hers again, kissing her with a ferocity that left her breathless. Olive’s mind went blank, her body surrendering to the passion that had been building for so long.

Knock, knock, knock.

A sudden knock at the door shattered the moment, breaking the kiss.

"Who’s that?" Olive muttered under her breath, still reeling from the intensity. A small part of her was relieved for the interruption.

"You expecting anyone?" Lucas asked, glancing toward the door. "It can’t be the school management, right?"

Knock, knock, knock.

Lucas sighed and stepped away from Olive, giving her some space. "You should, uh, change into something that covers your... you know, uh, better." He then backed her not wanting her to see his erection.

Olive blinked in confusion until she glanced down, realizing her nipples were visible through her shirt, hardened from the contact. She gasped and slapped her forehead in embarrassment. Quickly, she grabbed more clothes, tying her chest down to flatten it before slipping on another top.

"I’m set," Olive announced nervously. "You can open the door now."

Lucas nodded, then moved toward the door as he swallowed nervously. When he opened it, he found Mark standing there, clutching a pillow and blanket.

"Mark?" Lucas raised an eyebrow. "What’s wrong?"

"I just want to sleep here," Mark said matter-of-factly, pushing past Lucas into the room. "Let me in first, then you can ask questions."

Lucas shut the door behind him. "Why do you want to sleep here?"

Mark let out a heavy sigh as he dropped onto Lucas’s bed. "I can’t stay in that room with Aiden and Anabella. What if they start screwing while I’m asleep?"

Olive, still standing by her bed, glanced awkwardly between the two. She didn’t want to interrupt, but the situation was starting to feel weird.

"You should sleep in your own room," Lucas said, clearly irritated. "There’s no way I’m sleeping in the same bed with you."

Mark raised an eyebrow, completely unfazed. "Why not? It’s not like I’m gay or something. Relax, I’m not gonna try anything."

Lucas groaned, rubbing his temples. "That’s not the point. You left the 3RM special room because of Aiden and Anabella, and now you’re here. Fine. But I’m not sharing a bed with you."

Mark turned his attention toward Olive. "Hey, Arthur, can I crash with you, then? You’ve got space, right? Lucas is being a dickhead tonight you see..?"

Olive’s eyes widened in surprise. "What? No"

Lucas cut in sharply. "No! You can’t sleep with him." He sighed, clearly exasperated. "Just stay with me, okay? Arthur deserves to sleep peacefully in her own bed."

Mark huffed, sitting up straight. "It’s fine, Lucas. If you’re not cool with it, I’ll sleep with Arthur. No big deal. He’s not going to mind anyways"

"No! I said you’ll stay with me," Lucas snapped, moving over to his bed. "We won’t bother Arthur, okay?"

Mark smirked slightly, flopping back down on Lucas’s bed. "Whatever, man. But thanks."

Lucas lay down beside him, still looking irritated, but shot Olive a quick smile. "Get some rest too, Arthur."

Olive, still feeling awkward from the entire exchange, made her way to her bed and lay down, closing her eyes as she tried to calm her racing thoughts. Soon, she drifted off to sleep.

---

The next day came swiftly. As usual, Olive woke up before the others, bathed, and dressed in her school uniform. Lucas and Mark stirred not long after, grumbling as they got ready for the day. After getting dressed, the three of them left for the assembly hall.

The walk to the assembly was thick with tension. The events of the previous night still weighed heavily on Olive’s mind. She kept stealing glances at Lucas, trying to figure out what he was thinking. He was quiet, avoiding eye contact, and Olive found herself feeling both awkward and confused.

Mark, on the other hand, seemed oblivious to the tension. As they approached the assembly hall, his eyes lit up when he spotted Lara walking toward them. She rushed into his arms, greeting him with a bright smile.

"Good morning, sweetie," Mark said, giving her a quick peck on the cheek. "You look gorgeous as always."

"Thanks, babe." Lara blushed slightly, then turned her attention to the group. "What’s going on? I didn’t expect to see the three of you together."

Mark sighed dramatically. "We both slept in Arthur’s room last night. Couldn’t deal with Aiden and Anabella in my room. I was tempted to kick them out, but even Lucas doesn’t seem to care much anymore."

Lara’s eyes darted to Olive, clearly interested in hearing more about what had happened. Olive chuckled lightly, sensing the unspoken question in Lara’s gaze.

"Anyways, let’s attend the assembly first. We’ll discuss other things later." Lucas chimed in with a heavy sigh while the others nodded in agreement.

The four of them entered the assembly hall just as the principal, Clara, took the stage. The usual announcements followed, though Olive’s mind kept drifting back to Lucas. She couldn’t help but wonder what he had meant by saying he was "taking what he wanted." The words echoed in her head, leaving her both intrigued and confused.

"He’s..I don’t even know." Olive murmured under her breath but Lara soon placed her hand on hers, offering her a comforting smile while Olive smiled back and directed her gaze back to the principal.

"We all know about Michael’s death at the club," Clara announced toward the end of the assembly. "The police are investigating, and we need your full cooperation. No one is allowed to leave the country until the investigation is complete."

A wave of murmurs spread through the hall but Clara’s voice soon cut through the noise. "Remember, your freedom to leave campus is a privilege, not a right. Don’t abuse it."

As the assembly concluded, Clara dismissed the students but even after been dismissed, they still sat down, waiting for the powerful couples i.e Anabella and Lucas to walk out first before they follow.

Noticing the students reactions, Lucas soon raised his hand. "You all go first. I’ll wait for my friends."

The students exchanged puzzled glances, but they obeyed, filing out of the hall as they knew disobeying would only cause them harm. Anabella, her expression stormy, was among the students to leave, clearly upset by the other students’ puzzled stares.

Once the room cleared, Lucas, Mark, Olive, and Lara made their way out. Outside, they spotted Anabella and Aiden standing by the door, looking hesitant.

"Hey, guys," Anabella said softly. "Can we talk Lucas?" she added, her gaze fixed on Lucas.

Lucas’s expression hardened. "What’s there to talk about?"

Anabella took a deep breath, her voice trembling. "I know what I did was wrong. I made a mistake, and I’m sorry. I just... I want you to forgive me."

Lucas let out a smirk and leaned in close, his voice low and cold. "You’d better behave yourself, Anabella, unless you want everyone to know your little secret. The queen of the school is just a cheap dog who sleeps around because her king won’t pay attention to her."

"Lucas!" Anabella gasped, her eyes wide.

Straightening up, Lucas turned to address the students still lingering in the hallway. "I’m done with Anabella everyone. She doesn’t have the right to bully or hurt anyone in this school anymore. She only got away with it because she was with me. Well, we’re done now."

There was a collective gasp from the students around them.

"And one more thing," Lucas added as he turned to leave. "I’m in love with someone else."

With that, he walked into the classroom, leaving Anabella as well as the students standing frozen in shock.
