"Alaric, please."

"Aah! Stop it."

"I won’t tease you again."

"Alaric... you fucking bloody vampire."

Ravenna held Alaric’s hair trying to pull his head away from her thighs, but the man did not move a wink and went on biting her leaving hickeys.

"Don’t let me ask again," Alaric murmured briefly glancing at her then continued with his mighty work.

Ravenna clenched on the sofa while taking deep exhales. If only she knew this would be the consequences of her action, she would rather have kept quiet. Alaric had teased for almost half an hour and wouldn’t letbher the ecstasy she so much desired. He would retreated when he saw she was about to have her release, and this was the third time.

"I’ll tell you, just please don’t... huh!... Please," She moaned, throwing her head backwards when Alaric buried his tongue on her womanhood.

Ravenna felt like she would lose it if he stopped again. Her entire body was sweaty, and her legs were already trembling, as she felt the wave of pleasure building up in her.

"Please. Ple...ase, don’t... stop." Her pleads filled the office, and luckily for her, the room was soundproof. Moreover, the employees would have already left by that time.

Alaric sucked her, and this time, he didn’t stop until all her juices were wiped clean by his tongue. With a half grin, he looked her and then sat down on the couch.

Ravenna followed his actions closely while trying to catch her breath. A blush crept onbher cheeks when the images of what had taken place came rushing into her mind. It was sweet even if he had made her beg for it, she loved it.

"Want more?" Alaric asked, catching her off guard, his eyes looking somewhere, then he started unbuckling his belt.

Ravenna swallowed then followed his sight slowly but surely, only to be left dumbfounded. "You shameless pervert, how could you just stare at my..." pointed at the place in between her legs that was fully open before Alaric. "Like that."

Ravenna was about to pull her legs together, but Alaric was swifter than her and ended up holding her legs in place.

"What’s there to be ashamed of. I’ve seen and touched everything." In an undetectable speed, he took Ravenna in his arms and was now standing in front of a shelf packed with files and books.

Without a word, he pushed it aside, revealing a door behind which he unlocked with his fingerprint.

Ravenna was watching everything in awe and only snapped out when she felt her body sinking on what seemed like a mattress.

"Where..." Alaric kissed her lips, cutting her words short.

"Where were we?" He asked in return, nibbling down her neck like a hungry wolf he was. "Oh, I remember. Who was that man?"

He stopped his action and took a seat on the side of the bed before opening a bottle of wine that was on a bedside table.

Ravenna did not reply instantly and just watched him wondering how he knew she had met with a man. He took a wineglass and filled it with the red wine.

"We’re you following me?" Ravenna finally asked and sat upright, then covered herself with the bedsheet.

Alaric glanced at her before savouring a sip. "I’m getting impatient, Ven. Do you know him?"

Ravenna knew he was serious with the sudden drop of the temperature.

"Yes, I do," her answer was short, making Alaric more pissed.

"Who’s he?"

There was silence between them, which lasted for a minute. Ravenna didn’t know what to say or explain because she knew in whatever way she put it, Alaric would definitely get angry knowing she was betrothed to someone else. Such was the effect of the mate bond, making one possessive and dangerously jealous if they knew their partner relationships with other people. But she couldn’t be blamed. The world had become vast, and nowadays, it was very hard for werewolves to find their destined mate, which resorted to arranged marriages within a pack or if one got lucky to fall in love with a person who was not their mate. It was just like the human way.

Taking in a deep breath, Ravenna replied, "His name is Jaxon, my ex-fiance." She decided to be honest because even if she lied, he would eventually find out, and it would not he good for her. Moreover, it wasn’t like he had also not gotten involved with other women before meeting her.

Alaric frowned, and his expression grew darker. Though he felt a sting in his heart hearing her say ex-fiance, his main thoughts were on the fact the man could be one of the people after Ravenna. It seemed Silver Pack was getting bolder daring to even cross his territory.

On the other, Ravenna misnterpreted Alaric’s expression and thought he was angry because of her past relation. She bit her lip, her cheeks flushed, trying to pin the picture of a jealous Alaric in her mind, and truthfully, he looked scary. Nevertheless, she chuckled lightly feeling a familiar warmth creeping in her heart.

"What’s funny?" Alaric turned to her his brows furrowed.

Ravenna shook her head, trying to suppress a laughter, but she failed miserably. She pulled the sheets and covered herself completely before lying back on the bed, then continued laughing.

With one last gulp, Alaric finished the wine and put the glass away. His eyes emitted danger and grew darker with her sounds unders the sheets. His mind told him she had remembered something funny about that morron of an ex-fiance thus her laughter. He detested it. How dare she think of another man in front of him? He would punish her tonight and make sure all that she could say was his name.

If only Ravenna knew what was going inside Alaric’s head, she would shut up in that instant.

It only took one pull and the sheets were thrown away to the ground.

"You..."

"By the time I’m done with you..." He left his statement incomplete, smiling evilly.

A wild night of passion followed, with endless moans and groans filled in the room
