Roan didn’t show mercy, though. One movement, and one head flying, not even the soul remained. Outside, Derravan had given the twins’ group two options: follow his orders, or be killed. Then, he aimed at Roan, intending to kill him to make an example for the others a moment ago. He was already lucky Roan hadn’t attacked him before he set out.

"Retreat!"

Clicli immediately spoke, and with the other two Divinity Realm experts, they fled without thinking twice! They didn’t even care about Derravan’s Space-Time Realm Subordinates. To tell the truth, this group only had seven members. The other three Divinity Realm Experts of this group weren’t originally part of it. It’s just that since Derravan had three slots in his portrait remaining, he sold those slots to those three.

So, with the remaining Divinity Realm Experts fleeing, only the Space-Time Realm guys, the ones who were indeed part of Derravan’s group, stayed behind. They didn’t try to flee; there was no point in doing it. They were already having such difficulty to even move in this place because of the gravity, how could they dream of escaping the twins’ group?

"S-Sirs..." One of them swallowed hard. They saw that the twins’ group didn’t pursue the Divinity Realm guys who left, so it was even worse for them.

Yet, be it Roan or the rest, they completely ignored those Space-Time Realm experts. "Alright, let’s keep going. No walking at turtle pace anymore," Rean spoke, and their group shot away, leaving the Space-Time Realm guys dumbfounded.

Elsie looked behind as those guys grew further away and couldn’t help but ask. "Is it really okay to leave those guys alive? What about Clicli and the other Divinity Realm guys as well?"

"Who cares? Hahaha!" Kentucky laughed. "Everyone is fighting for themselves in this place. Do you think someone else will waste their time to hear them and come after us to take revenge or some shit like that?"

"This..." Elsie had to admit Kentucky’s words made sense. "I guess they won’t. In fact, I wouldn’t either, even if I were part of the same background."

"Exactly!" Rean nodded. "We just didn’t want to become targets at the entrance because others would think about just getting rid of us to avoid future problems. At that point, we would have to show our real power. It was way too soon, so we let Derravan think he had us in the palm of his hands. Now, we don’t need him or his group anymore. As for his death, he can only blame himself. Roan gave him a chance, after all."

Elsie didn’t ask anymore about that topic. Instead, she shifted to what she saw. "Alright, then tell me about you guys. I’ve felt it. Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis, you all used Major Laws! Major Laws!!! That’s something that you should only be able to do at the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm! Not only that, each one of you has two of them!"

That was a part that the twins’ group knew they wouldn’t be able to hide after entering this place, so Roan didn’t do it and used his laws to kill Derravan. Naturally, Elsie questioned them about it, so he gave an answer he had already prepared. "You said it yourself, only Peak Stage Divinity Realm Experts can manage to merge the four sub-laws into a Major Law. So, that’s about it."

Elsie wasn’t an idiot. She understood they were saying they were actually Peak Stage Divinity Realm experts. What she couldn’t understand was how they were hiding their cultivation. Little did she know they weren’t, but they wouldn’t tell her that. It would be better if she reached her own conclusions.

Elsie tried to calm down, not asking anymore. "Okay, so be it. Where are we going now?"

"Do you have an idea?" Roan glanced at her.

Elsie shook his head, though. "How would I? I’ve never been here before, and this place changes every time. That’s why I’m asking."

Roan shook his head as well. "Since you also don’t know, then the answer is simple. We forge ahead and hope we will stumble into something worth our interest. Also, you said it before, you had your reasons to come into the Golden Palace and that you might leave our group at some point. You are still free to do so anytime you want. That’s up to you."

"Right..." Elsie didn’t forget that. "Thanks."

The lack of an objective actually bothered the twins slightly. The system always gave a clear goal when it gave its quests. This time, however, it only asked to explore the Celestial Supreme Palace, or Golden Palace, if you prefer. It truly didn’t give any other clue about what it wanted the twins to do here. Perhaps it didn’t want the twins to do anything. It was hard to say.

’Sister Orb,’ Roan contacted the Orb inside the Dimensional Realm. The Celestial Soul, just like the normal Pocket Dimensional Realms, was also locked. The twins’ group couldn’t enter it. However, the twins were still tied to Sister Orb through their soul connection, so they could at least talk to her. ’Have you found anything? Any clues for a direction?’

[I’m trying to sense something using the system, but I’m not getting any response. I wonder if the system even wants something from this place. I was expecting it to give us some directions or whatever after we entered the Golden Palace, but there is truly nothing here.]

Suddenly, Roan stopped, thinking for a moment.

"What is it?" Elsie and the others asked.

Roan glanced at Elsie. Then, he switched to Divine Sense Message so she wouldn’t hear. ’The Quest only said to explore this place. Technically, we already did, even if just a tiny bit of the entrance area. If we go back and leave the palace, wouldn’t it count for the completion of the quest?’

Rean and the others were taken aback. Indeed, there were no specifics of how far they had to go with this exploration thing. If they could leave straight away and gain the 500 Celestial Points, wouldn’t that be enough? It was definitely worth considering!
