Chapter 65: HUNTERS SUMMIT

"I thought you said you were going to be yourself" Kakashi asked as he saw Leo back to dressing like a boy.

"Of course I did, but today is the day" Leo replied as she combs her hair.

"What day?"

"You know that the witches and the demon hunters work together"

"No"

"Well today is the day they both come together for the baptism and they will a meeting. The demon hunters need the witches magic to create weapon that can kill demons, and since my father is among the higher ranked hunters, he’s sure to be here" Leo turned around. "Do I look boyish enough?"

Kakashi sighed and walked towards her. "You don’t need to try to convince your dad"

"I need to, if I don’t... I just can’t let him see me as a failure. He believes I’m useless because I have no karma but if I prove to him that I can still be use-"

Kakashi covered her mouth with is hand. "You’re not a tool, stop looking down on yourself"

"I know, but I just need to. Kakashi, I need this"

Kakashi could see the determination in her eyes, they was no stopping it. What’s the was that could happen?.

"Isn’t he cute"

"He’s so dreamy, I wish I could talk to him"

"I heard he’s even stronger than Russell"

"He doesn’t look that strong but he give off a strong energy"

"I’ve never seen him the close before, and now I think of it, he does look like that Kakashi"

That last statement made Kojo angry a little, he has been hearing of a new student who was saved from the lab a few months ago and since then, he had been tangled in a bunch of trouble.

"Why I am even here?" Kojo said to himself, he had always hated this kind of meetings. The higher-ups always end up getting on his nerves, to him, they are nothing but spineless coward.

"You said you wanted to meet the Kakashi everyone had been talking about, remember?" A female who walked few steps in front of him replied.

"Oh, I did say that" Kojo sighed. "I guessed it slipped out of my mind"

Kojo stopped on his track and looked back, the girls who were staring at him blushed but his attention was on something else.

Behind him were almost important members of the demon hunters society, each of them walk in an almost uniformed line, accompanied by an assistant.

The first person was female and the first daughter of the leader of the Amara clan, Amara Kyoto. She is eighteen years old and was about 6’, her slender body makes her fast, she has long dark purplish red hair but brighter eyes color, Kojo had once heard that she was forced to quit highschool and train to be a demon hunter after she awakened her technique at the age of seventeen. And for some reason, he was chosen to escort her.

Next was a young man held his sword on his left arm, if he remembers clearly, Kenji was twenty years old, average size and about 6’3", bright red hair and eyes, he maintains a serious look but he’s a little playful. He was escorted by a man who was almost the same hight as him.

After him was a heavily built man, although he was part of the important clans, his skills made him part of the demon hunters higher rank. He was almost eight feet tall and was seven time Kojo’s size, Willam Watch. He’s eyes were dark with gray braided hair, he wore a simple pair of trousers and a light jacket which he didn’t bother to fasten the buttons. A young slim lady silently walked behind him as she adjusted her glasses.

Then there was Daniel. He was much younger than Kyoto and luckier too, he was able to climb the ranks at a very young age but apart from that, there was very little that was known about him but yet to Kojo, he was the most annoying. A mature Voluptuous woman held his hand and led the way.

"I’m starting to regret coming, it looks like it’s going to be boring as always" Kojo sighed and adjusted his blindfold.

"Don’t say that!" Kyoto lecture. "This is very important to me and besides I have a very good feeling about this one"

"Who the hell are you?!" A voice roared from behind, even without looking back Kojo was sure who it was.

"I said GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY!!!" William yelled, he was known for being very impatient. "Don’t you have ears, boy?!!!"

"Sir, pl...please calm down..." His assistant tried to calm him down but it seems even her was too scared to say anything.

"You!!!, Shut up!!!" He yelled pointing at her before turning back to the white hair kid that was standing in front of him. "And you, get out!!! Before I get rough with you"

William threatened, his eyes glowing with rage. For a moment, Kojo wanted to step in but it would have been a waste.

"You know what Kyoto?, I think this meeting is going to be pretty interesting after all" He said with a mischievous grin on his face.

"I would, not until... Not until you tell me why you would abandon your own daughter" Kakashi said, his face was staring at the ground, struggling to stay still as Leo tries to pull him.

"Kakashi stop, it’s not worth it" Leo pleaded but Kakashi remained still.

William who quickly recognizing his ’son’ knew what he was talking about, he smiled as the other students who were got scared and backed away.

"So you are the supposed lightning user who managed to escape a lab while the other died and killed a first class demon, and now sleeping with my daughter" This word made the female students surprised as they stared at Leo.

"Wait, you mean to say Leo’s a girl"

"No wonder he never goes to the boy’s toilet"

"Or even let anyone close to him"

"There is no use for someone who doesn’t possess karma, just look at her, dressing up like a boy, tarnishing my name. You should be disgraced of yourself" William glared at Leo before pushing Kakashi to the side. "You can keep her if you want"

He added and was about to walk away but Kakashi held his jacket, he angrily turned kicked Kakashi face but Kakashi held on to his jacket.

"Let go of me!" He kicked Kakashi again but Kakashi remained hesitant, Leo tried to stop her father but William pushed him aside. "I SAID LET GO OF ME NOW!!!!"

William raised his foot high above Kakashi’s head, his foot suddenly lit up with dark energy and he quickly brought it down, aiming at Kakashi’s head.
