As Grandpa had to rest a lot, they only stayed in the hospital briefly. After saying goodbye, the two stopped by Uncle Robert’s office to say goodbye because they would not have time to come to the hospital again tomorrow. Mel entrusts her grandfather to Uncle Robert and hopes he will recover and return to X in healthy condition.

This is the first time she saw her use this kind of outfit when they hangout. In the past, she usually wore her hoodie and ripped jeans. She was amazed to see her.

"Yeah! Cass is right. You look more stunning now, Mel! You seem so happy living in J city, huh? And... what is this!?" Maggie was dumbfounded when she saw her carry a cute small branded bag.

"OMG! Do you carry a branded bag now? Where is your backpack?" Cassandra almost choked when she noticed her bag.

Why is this girl changing so fast when it comes to fashion? Of all her friends, only Mel, who always stresses her out in terms of fashion. Whenever she suggested to her about fashion, Mel just smiled without any interest in changing her style. But now she’s changed. What’s up with her?

Amy chuckled at the two of them. "Girls! She has grown up now... of course, she will change in choosing clothes and accessories, right?" Amy tried to divert the conversation so they don’t focus on the changes that happened to Mel. Amy glances at Mel, wanting praise from her. Because today she became her shield.

Mel was surprised to hear Cassandra’s question. She stops eating her dessert and glances at her with a blank expression.
