"You’re right, dear. I thought so too." He pecks her lips gently... "What is destined for us will not just disappear even though there are many obstacles that get in the way. We were destined to be together. After a long separation, we met again and reunited."

Mel agreed with Andrew’s words. In the past, many men tried to approach her, but her heart never budged. Her heart is only for him.

They spent the morning chatting from heart to heart, something they had not done for the past few days.

After they finished their breakfast, they both headed to the hospital to see grandpa and say goodbye. Because they decided to return to city J sooner than planned.

Andrew suddenly has an urgent appointment in country X. At the same time, Mel wants to finish a high-tech gadget idea that suddenly pops into her mind. She tried to make it as fast as possible because this advanced gadget would be handy for her.

Once this gadget is finished and ready to use, she will appear in public as Melanie Tanner. She doesn’t want to hide anymore. If it is hard to find the people who mastermind GHOST, she will appear in public and lure them to her.

She was determined to face them head-on. She felt tired just waiting for XTeam to protect her. She must take action. She can find and confront Ghost, her true nemesis.

When they arrived at Grandpa’s VVIP treatment room, the room was empty. Mel immediately found out about her grandfather’s position through Max. Now, her grandpa is at Uncle Robert’s office. She decides to wait in the VVIP room while accompanying her Husband working through his laptop at the dining table.

"Husband... should we cancel the pre-wedding photoshoot tomorrow? So we can fly right away tonight?" Seeing her husband looking busy with his work, she felt sorry for him. For her, pre-wedding photos are not necessary. But her husband insists. He said he wanted to give her memories to do the usual things brides do before marriage, including taking pre-wedding photos.

Andrew stopped typing on his laptop. He then saw his wife and was stunned when he saw her face looking guilty. He smiled at her and touched the top of her hair gently... "No need, dear...Don’t worry about my work. I have already arranged the photoshoot. We will have a Pre-wed photo shoot this afternoon and tomorrow morning. After that, we will fly back to city J."

Mel just stared at him without saying a word.

"Why are you silent? You feel bad for me, huh?"

"Hmm... sorry. Because of me, you have to come here."

Andrew placed her hand on her shoulder and pulled her into his arms. "It’s my duty as your husband to accompany you here. About work...or anything, don’t think about it." Andrew caresses her smooth hair gently and continues his word, "You know I’m the boss, right? I spent a lot of money to pay a professional to run the company. If I can’t trust them, I’ll just fire them, and I’ll do everything myself." He laughed.

"Wife, did you forget... you’re like that too?" He asks her. She nods while smiling.

Andrew is right. How could she forget that she was also the president of the MT group? And lately, she rarely shows up at the office. As long as she believes in Hiro, then everything will run smoothly.

"But Husband... I have Hiro on my side. How about you? Do you have a person in the W Group?"

"Sure... my dad." He laughs then starts typing again on his laptop.

"Gosh! Turns out it was dad who replaced you at the office..." Mel couldn’t believe it. How come? Hasn’t he resigned and didn’t want to be involved with the company?

"Wife, you don’t need to think about dad. This is one of the agreements I made with him when he handed over the company..." Andrew said.

Mel wanted to know the promise they made, but Andrew didn’t tell her even though she forced him. Andrew still refused, he said; it’s a secret. She gave up and let him get back to work in front of his laptop.

She entertained herself by eating the cake she found in the fridge. The fruitcake she ate tasted so good, she sat beside her husband while eating the cake. She heard her grandpa and Uncle Jim come back from Uncle Robert’s office when she finished the third slice.

"Grandpa..." Mel immediately stood up from her chair and greeted her grandfather. "How are you, grandpa? Everything is alright?"

Grandpa smiled at her lively granddaughter. He hugged her and returned Andrew’s greeting with a warm hug.

They sat on the sofa while chatting about his treatment progress. Mel heard grandfather’s explanation. Occasionally, Uncle Jim helped him when explaining to them.

Mel knows nothing about the treatment. She only hopes that her grandfather can be cancer-free and come back to J again and live a healthy and happy life with them.

After a while, grandfather felt tired and decided to go to the bedroom. Mel immediately accompanied her grandfather. Meanwhile, Andrew returned to work behind his laptop.

"Grandpa, because Grandpa’s condition is progressing well. Andrew and I decided to return to X tomorrow...." Mel tells him about their plan.

Grandpa immediately agreed. He knew Andrew was busy as president director of W Group and his granddaughter as president of MT Group. He doesn’t want both of them to waste their time in this city just to accompany him to therapy.

"That’s good, my lovely Mel. Don’t worry about these old men. There’s your Uncle Robert and Uncle Jim who will accompany and take care of grandpa." He smiled.

He adds, "And at your wedding, Uncle Robert and I will come..." He gently patted the back of his granddaughter’s hand.

Mel nods while smiling. She was so happy to know her grandpa would come to their wedding. And also, her grandpa has a positive mind. And a strong will to fight his cancer. Because the key to the success of chemotherapy is his mind. Once he gives up, then everything they are doing now will be wasted.
