They decided to go home a few hours later after Mel told Lilly that Andrew was already waiting for them at the entrance.

"Mom, thank you for taking me for a walk today and buying me a lot of dresses and fancy items..."

"Don’t mention it, my dear. It was my pleasure too. This is the first time I can feel that having a daughter makes me feel delighted. I really enjoy shopping with you... you know my two sons never wanted to accompany me shopping. Indeed, sons are different from daughters...." Lilly and Mel laugh.

Andrew, standing behind them, turned stiff when he saw his mother still holding his wife’s hand. He felt annoyed... "Mom, it’s getting dark. Your husband is waiting at home...." This would be the last time he would allow his wife to go shopping with his mom. They spent almost the whole day just shopping. Make him speechless.

Lilly glared at her son. After that, she hugged Mel and finally said goodbye to them and got into her car.

After Lilly’s car moved. Andrew and Mel immediately got into Andrew’s Maybach car.

"Husband..." Mel glances at her husband. "You waited a long time for me, didn’t you?"

She could guess from the look on her husband’s face that he had actually really annoyed.

Andrew immediately took his wife’s hand and kissed her gently... "Is it fun shopping with mom?"

"Hmm, I just found out that your mother is an impulsive buyer. She bought me a lot of stuff I didn’t need...." She laughed, remembering when Lilly forced her to accept what she bought. "She also bought some clothes for you. Well, our couple’s outfit." she giggles.

"You have to understand, Mom only has two children, and both are boys. Mario and I, we both don’t like her taste in the clothes she chooses for us." Andrew chuckled, "Mom always buys us clothes in bright colors...and we don’t like to wear everything she buys..." Mel laughed at that.

After a while...

"Husband, earlier at the mall, I met your ex-fiancé...." Mel glanced at her husband, who was now working on his laptop.

Andrew lifts his head, and their eyes meet. He frowned, confused.

Mel knew Andrew was confused by her words. She continues her words... "You don’t know you have a fiance? Well, that woman said that she was betrothed to you by Grandpa...."

"Wife...don’t joke about things like that." He frowned, and his voice sounded a little bit more annoyed than before.

"I am not kidding. But it has really happened. You can ask mom if you don’t believe me...." Mel tried to remember the woman’s name. Andrew is still staring at her with his confused-looking face. "Ah! I remember her name... she said her name is Lisa Wang. She said she’s from the Wang Family. She’s the one who came up to mom and me. She claimed to have been betrothed to you by her grandfather! Mom was so mad at her when she said that."

Actually, she just wanted to tease her husband, but seeing his husband’s reaction, who thought she was making it up, made her say everything. And somehow, she felt a little jealous... Even though she knew that what Lisa Wang said was a lie. She trusts her husband that he will not hide anything from her.

Andrew did not respond to his wife’s sentence, but he immediately took his cell phone and called someone. He looked furious.

Mel was worried to see her husband’s face looking so angry. She didn’t dare say anything.

"Grandpa..." With an icy but calm voice, he called his grandpa. "Grandpa, do you mind telling the Wang family not to carelessly say that their daughter has an engagement relationship with me?! If you don’t mind, I’m asking you to do it now. Otherwise, tomorrow the Wang family will be impoverished."

Grandpa Will, who was currently sitting watching the news casually in the living room, was surprised to hear his grandson call him in a voice that sounded pissed off. This was the second time he spoke to him like this. Instantly he felt uneasy...

"Miss Wang said to my wife; She was betrothed to me." Andrew sighs deeply before continuing his wrath, "What exactly did you say to that family? Why can they claim like that?"

Grandpa Will’s heart almost halts. He feels fuming now. How could they claim like that? He never even talked about it... with Old Wang. In his mind, Grandpa cursed that dick friend of his for ruining his peaceful afternoon.

Andrew adds, "Now, please solve this problem. I don’t want random women who claim they were ever engaged with me. Especially saying that in front of my wife!" He then hung up the phone without waiting for his grandpa to say anything.

He turned to look at his little wife... "Are you feeling better now, my wife?"

Mel was speechless when she saw her husband scold his grandpa. She could only nod.

"Come here, let me hug you." He stowed his laptop down and pulled her into his lap. "Wife, don’t ever listen to anyone..." Mel just nodded as she leaned her head in her husband’s arms. They hugged in silence until they reached the W group building.

Meanwhile, at the W Mansion.

Lilly, who had just arrived home, was stunned when she saw her father-in-law sitting quietly on the chair without glancing at her. He seemed to be thinking about something.

"Father..." Lilly greeted him.

"Daughter, you are back...." Old Will looked at his daughter-in-law blankly.

"Father, what’s wrong? Something seems to bother you. Is there a problem?" Lilly is worried when she looks at Grandpa. He looked like had just received bad news. His face looked dark as if black clouds were hanging over his head.

After a few seconds of silence, Old Will finally responds to his daughter-in-law... "Andrew just called. He sounds mad at me. He said tomorrow the Wang Family will be penniless...."

Lilly was shocked. Instantly she remembered the incident this afternoon at the Mall. The girl from the Wang family said something strange. She immediately told everything to his father-in-law.

After hearing the whole story from Lilly, Old William immediately went to his study and called his friend. He had to settle this matter immediately. Otherwise, there would be no more Wang family on the list of wealthy families in this country.
