Chapter 119: Alex Angry

While Mel and Vivian talked in front of the toilet, Alex immediately walked towards the main house after Mel hung up the phone.

When no one saw him, he runs fast to the main house. He was distraught when he realized Mel left her seat for too long. He was afraid something would happen inside the mansion because, at the same time, he didn’t see Vivian.

He entered the mansion. He saw no one else, only himself. He quickly looked for the toilet, and when he approached the toilet area, he heard Mel’s voice talking to a woman.

He halted his steps right at the corner of the corridor leading to the toilet. He stood where he was and heard their conversation.

Instantly Alex’s face turned black when he heard the woman talking to Mel was Vivian, Alan Tanner’s wife. The woman that Mel hated so much.

Anger overcame him when he heard that Vivian sent a gangster to kidnap Mel in town B a month ago and even sent a killer to kill Mel and her mother.

Alex now realizes that the accident that happened to Mel when she was a child had been because of this evil woman! Without him knowing, his hands clenched into fists, his face flushed red in anger. He stood waiting patiently at his place. He was afraid that if he saw Vivian’s face, he would act anarchic and kill her on the spot.

Alex takes a deep sigh.

He heard Mel’s footsteps approaching him not long after, and he saw Mel’s face pale and her eyes red with anger.

"Little sister..." Alex grabbed her shoulder to stop her. He saw her eyes dull his heart tighten.

Mel, who was walking without paying attention to her surroundings, was surprised to see Alex standing right in front of her and holding her shoulder. She lifted her face and saw Alex. Their eyes met. Mel could see that at this moment, Alex’s eyes flashed with anger. She knew that Alex had been standing where he was all this time, and he must have heard everything.

"Brother, did you hear it?" She asked in a low sad voice like she was holding back her tears.

"Hmm, I heard everything," Alex said. He then took her hand and led her out of the mansion, looking for an empty place to talk. Alex also tries to calm Mel, who currently looks so pale, and her eyes are slightly red. He knows that the little sister is must be feeling anguished.

"Why didn’t you ever say that?" Alex asked as they returned to the park bench by the pool, away from the crowd.

All this time, Alex was confused by Mel’s decision when she returned to X, but now, he knows the reason.

When he first found Mel in country M, he was still in high school. Alex never stopped forcing her to come back to country X and continue her study here. But, it was to no avail as Mel always refused.

She said she didn’t want to go back to X anymore. She tried to forget all about her past, especially her memories with the Tanners.

But before graduating from high school, she suddenly changed her mind. She decided to return to X and continue her studies in the city of J.

After hearing the conversation with Vivian, now she understood that her decision had something to do with Vivian.

"Little sister, so the reason you came back to X to avenge your mom, to the bitch?" He wanted to ask her, but he couldn’t. Because at this moment Mel still looked very sad.

After a while, Mel was able to control her anger and sadness. She looked at Alex, who was currently standing not far from her. She said in a calmer voice... "Brother, I’m sorry if I never told you. But, don’t worry, I will take care of Vivian in my own way."

Alex, who was currently standing looking at the pool, immediately turned to look at Mel, "Little Sister, you must let me help you." Alex said.

Mel shook her head.

"No. I’ll ask for your help if I can’t take care of that evil woman. But I can take care of her, at least for now."

Alex didn’t answer. He just stared at her in silence.

After a long silence,

Mel finally talked first, "Brother, I want to go home."

Alex nodded, "Let’s go. I’ll take you home." He said, then walked ahead of Mel.

Mel shook her head. "No, brother, I want to go home alone. My boyfriend will come to pick me up."

Alex, who walked in front of her, immediately stopped his steps and turned to see Mel. "oh, he’s here now?"

"Hmm, yeah..." Mel said softly. Then, she walked past him into the garden heading to her Grandpas.

But before Mel walked further away, Alex called her. "Little sister," his voice sounded sad. But Mel didn’t realize that. "Call me when you get home, okay?"

Mel just nodded, and she walked quickly toward the garden. Her heart still ached from being provoked by Vivian, the slut. She does not want to linger in this place anymore. She wants to leave this mansion immediately. Also, She wants to be by Andrew’s side.

While Walking, Mel touched the back of her ear and said, "Max, did you record everything?"

"Yes, Boss. I recorded it. I also have accessed and recorded all the CCTV coverages in that area." Max said.

"Find out what the slut is doing right now and record anything related to me." She stops her track and continues her sentence, "And sends a message to Andrew. Tell him to pick me. I want to go home now."

"Yes, Boss!"

Mel saw her grandfather still chatting with his best friend. He looks happy from a distance. She felt terrible for having to leave sooner. Nevertheless, she’s walking toward her Grandpa, and when she is there, she immediately said goodbye to him and others.

They were all sad because she could not stay longer. She just smiled a little and said that she was not feeling well right now, so she wanted to go home and take a rest.

After chatting for a while with the elders, she could finally leave the main table. She did that without even looking at her father. For Mel, he no longer existed.
