"Damn! So the fireworks that I saw that night, which lit up for 15 minutes over town J, is that because Andrew is proposing to you?

"Hmm."

"Hahaha, do you know that night I cursed a thousand times whoever set the fireworks? Sorry Mel, if I knew it was related to you, I wouldn’t have cursed Andrew."

They both laugh.

"Anna, I thought you don’t like birthday parties like this?"

Anna nodded and said, "Yes, I’m here to accompany my grandfather."

"Are you being forced?"

Anna shakes her head.

"Hiro told me that you were coming. So, when Grandpa said he was invited to this event, I immediately volunteered to come. Because I know you need supporters to face the useless trio." She laughed.

Mel chuckled and thanked her best friend.

They continue to talk about many things while laughing. And not long after, Mel went to the toilet, leaving Anna, who received a phone call.

Mel walked down the lane and entered the main house. She saw the main room in the mansion, there wasn’t much change, but she felt a strange feeling when she entered. Mel thought that this mansion had become empty and very gloomy. There was no feeling of warmth and happiness, unlike when she was still living here with her mother.

Mel entered the toilet, and after finishing her business in the bathroom, she came out. She was surprised to see a petite, small-faced woman with short dark brown hair standing in front of the toilet door.

Their eyes met.

"Melanie, how are you?" She asked in a soft voice but sounded like an evil witch casting spells in Mel’s ears.

Mel continued her step, completely ignoring her.

"Melanie, Stop!" She shouted shrilly.

Mel chuckled slightly.

Finally, this slut showed her true face, she thought.

She stopped her steps and turned to face to look at the slut. With her icy voice, she asked her, "Do I know you?"

"How DARE you, Melanie! I’m your mother. I AM your father’s wife!" She arrogantly and ferociously replied. She walked toward Mel and stopped a meter before her. "You, what are you doing here?"

Mel couldn’t help but laugh in her heart. With a low voice, she said, "You are really a very talented artist, huh? In front of everyone, you were gentle with me. You are even playing a victim as I ignored you! But, once no one was near us, around us, you open your filthy mask and show your true face, a slut!"

Vivian’s face now turned darker, she was so mad and tempted to slap Mel, but she held back her anger, afraid Old man Tanner would be furious.

Mel ignored Vivian, who was really mad at her. She casually touched the AI sticker behind her ear. In Swedish, she commanded Max... "Record all this conversation, and hack this house’s system and all the gadgets belonging to everyone in this house except Grandpa."

"Melanie, were you cursing me, your mother, huh? What are you talking about? Said it in English," Vivian asked in confusion to hear Melanie in front of her talking, but she didn’t know what she was talking about. She was sure this kid was cursing her. Instantly anger rose within her, wanting to kill this child right now. But, again, she held back.

Mel smiled as if she saw a funny clown playing in front of her.

"Why can’t you talk? You became stupid after an accident when you were little, didn’t you?" Vivian laughed.

Mel’s hands clenched into fists. She was controlling her emotions not to hit this slut’s face. She sighs silently, then says... "You said you are my mother? How dare you! I have only one mother, and she was not ugly and evil like you." Mel pointed at her face. Mel laughed, then she continued, "Understands this, I know who you are. You are the slut that ruins other people’s marriage and happiness. You’ve crawled your way up with your deception, dishonesty, and fraud."

Vivian looked at Mel with a sharp gaze... "Y-You bitch, answer my question. What were you doing in Tanner Mansion? What is the purpose of your return?"

"Why do you want to know?" Mel coldheartedly answered.

"Melanie! Never dream you inherit a penny from the Tanner Group!! Because all of this will belong to my son. You won’t get anything." Vivian laughed sarcastically.

"Really? Looks like you’ve been dreaming too much, bitch!!"

Vivian’s face has now turned black. She looks so angry.

Suddenly Mel’s cell phone vibrated. She looked at her cell phone screen then picked up the phone, ignoring Vivian, who now turned into a devil ready to slaughter her prey. And Mel is even happier, succeeding in making Vivian the slut lose her sanity.

"Where are you, Little sister?" Mel hears Alex’s nervous voice.

"Brother, I’m in the toilet, in the main house," Mel said, then turned off the phone.

She glanced at Vivian with cold eyes.

Then Vivian said, "What are you doing at Tanner Mansion? What is the purpose of you returning?" her voice rises. She sounded really piss-off.

Mel chuckled.

"Why I am here shouldn’t be your concern. Mind your own business, bitch"

"I am a madam in Tanner Mansion. It’s my business to know why. This is not your place. You shouldn’t be in Tanner Mansion. Immediately leave this place and never come back, or you ..." She paused.

"You what? Are you going to send a gangster to kidnap me again? Or do you want to send a killer to kill me again?" Mel smiled coldly, then she tilted her head closer to Vivian and whispered, "Slut... don’t you dare to provoke me. I won’t stay silent and do anything if you test my patience. What happens if Grandpa knows you had sent a gangster to kidnap me? What happens if Grandpa knows you had sent a killer to kill my mother and me? He will kick you out of Tanner Mansion along with your son."

"W-what are you talking about? I never send anyone to harass you! How dare you accuse me carelessly." She said in a voice that sounded panicked, and her face turns ashen.

"You know, Slut? Enjoy your last days as a madam in this mansion. Soon, I will come back and take care of you." Mel said in a frightening voice while patted Vivian’s shoulder, then walked away.

Vivian’s body instantly frozen as Mel touched her shoulder. She could only stand still, watching Mel leave her.
