Cucking The Demon King
Chapter 98: Jaegel[2]

Chapter 98: Jaegel[2]

Rex shot forward.

His hands stretched backwards, channeling his light mana. With a sharp burst, he propelled himself toward Jaegel, closing the distance in a flash.

His heart pounded in his ears as he swung his fist with full force, aiming straight for Jaegel’s ugly face.

But just as his fist was about to connect—

Jaegel’s lips curled into a smirk.

Then—

His figure vanished.

Rex’s eyes widened in shock. What?!

Before he could react—

BANG!

A powerful kick slammed into his abdomen.

His body lifted off the ground, his vision blurring as he was sent flying.

"GAH—!" Blood spurted from his mouth as he crashed backwards, tumbling violently across the ground. His body bounced countless times before finally skidding to a halt.

His vision spun. Pain exploded through his ribs.

What... just happened?

He coughed, more blood splattering from his lips as he struggled to breathe. His arms trembled as he tried to push himself up.

That wasn’t normal.

Jaegel was too fast.

How could someone with such a small frame possess that kind of frightening strength?!

A slow, slithering hiss echoed through the darkness.

Rex forced his blurry vision to focus.

Jaegel was still standing in the distance, completely unharmed. His arms were folded behind his back, his posture calm and unbothered.

"You’re just a kid." His voice slithered out, filled with mocking amusement.

Rex clenched his teeth.

"You don’t stand a chance against me."

His eye twitched, his grotesque grin widening. "You should have stayed quiet, little noble. Now? You’ll learn just how powerless you really are."

Rex’s fingers dug into the ground as his fury burned hotter.

But deep inside—

A cold, terrifying realization settled in.

Jaegel wasn’t just strong.

He was something far worse.

And Rex... wasn’t sure if he could win.

Rex gnashed his teeth, his breath ragged, but he refused to give up.

His entire body screamed in pain, his ribs aching from Jaegel’s previous attack. Blood still dripped from his lips, but he forced himself to move.

Slowly, he stood up.

His legs trembled, his muscles weak and sore, but he clenched his fists tightly, steeling his resolve.

His mana was running thin.

Even more than before.

The endless darkness around him was constantly draining his strength, leeching away at his very essence. And with his Blessing of Light still active, his mana was depleting twice as fast.

Still, even in this terrible state, he wasn’t done yet.

He had enough juice for one more attack.

Just one more.

His eyes burned with determination as he slowly turned his gaze toward Jaegel.

The heretic was still standing calmly in the distance, arms folded behind his back, a smug smirk plastered on his grotesque face.

Rex’s fists tightened.

It didn’t matter if he collapsed after this attack.

It didn’t matter if he fainted the second it was over.

As long as he could wipe that arrogant look off Jaegel’s ugly face—

It would be completely worth it!

A sudden flare of power erupted from his hands.

His light-infused gloves ignited, golden sparks flickering and crackling around them. The radiance spread, illuminating the darkness around him, swallowing the shadows in its brilliant glow.

The draining effect of the darkness intensified, greedily sucking away at his remaining strength. His legs grew heavier, his body weaker, but he gritted his teeth, forcing himself to maintain focus.

He wouldn’t let this bastard win.

Not like this.

His eyes locked onto Jaegel, his voice echoing through the void.

"I’ll make you eat your words!"

The heretic’s smirk widened.

"I’ll smash your ugly face in! I’ll show you I’m not just some failure of Silvagold!"

Jaegel chuckled, his long, thin tongue slithering out for a brief moment before retreating back into his mouth.

"Oh? Still clinging to that pathetic little spark?" he sneered. "Good. I’d be glad to snuff it out myself."

Rex didn’t respond.

He lifted his hands forward.

The glow of his gloves intensified, their power reaching their absolute peak.

This was it.

His final attack.

He took a deep breath, his entire body burning from the strain.

Then, with every ounce of strength he had left, he roared.

"EAT THIS, MOTHERFUCKER!"

The gloves exploded with power—

"LIGHT... EXPLOSION!!!"

Two massive beams of pure light burst out from his palms, illuminating the void in a blinding brilliance.

The sheer force of the blast sent him skidding backward, his heels digging into the ground as he fought to maintain control.

Jaegel’s smirk faltered.

His brow furrowed, a slight frown replacing his amusement.

For the first time, there was a hint of surprise in his grotesque face.

He wasn’t expecting this.

Even after all the mana draining, all the exhaustion, Rex still had this much power left?

The beams rushed toward him at terrifying speed.

Jaegel unfolded his arms, his stance shifting.

BOOOOOOOOM!!!

A colossal explosion erupted as the beams collided with their target.

A shockwave of pure light rippled outward, swallowing the entire area. The dark void trembled, the surrounding shadows dispersing violently against the overwhelming brightness.

A giant mushroom cloud of light rose from the impact, engulfing the space where Jaegel had been standing.

The ground rumbled beneath Rex’s feet.

He let out a weak chuckle, his lips curling into a satisfied smirk.

"Hah... serves that ugly freak right..."

His knees buckled.

His legs gave out.

His body collapsed to the ground.

He tried to move—

But he couldn’t.

The gloves on his hands slowly cracked, their glow fading as they disintegrated into thin air.

His mana was completely gone.

His vision blurred, exhaustion finally catching up to him.

"I... can’t move..." he muttered, his breathing shallow.

He had poured everything into that attack.

There was no way Jaegel survived that.

...Right?

A sudden voice echoed behind him.

"Did you get him?"

Rex’s eyes widened.

That voice—

That disgusting, mocking voice.

His breath hitched, his body frozen.

No.

No, no, no—

The voice grew closer.

"I said..."

A chilling presence loomed over him.

Slowly—

Jaegel materialized behind him.

His disgusting grin stretched wider.

His long, thin tongue flicked out, a low chuckle escaping his lips.

"Did you get me?"
