Crashing into an Old Flame -
Chapter 239: Silicone?
Chapter 239: Silicone?
If they fought and one of them died, Diana would be upset. If she died, Angel would lose her recently found biological mother.
In that flash, after weighing the pros and cons, Daisy concluded that it was better to risk offending her sadistic boss than risk her life for the sake of a psychotic fox.
Daisy glanced at Diana who was looking at her accusingly.
Daisy knew that even if she told her sister that Maxim might or might not have romantic feelings for her way before they started dating, then Diana would say that she was overthinking.
That fox had her sister wrapped around his foxtail.
So, Daisy did not attempt to explain anything as she turned to walk inside.
Diana looked at the closed door for a moment in silence. Then, she followed Daisy.
Both the women’s footsteps came to a sudden halt the moment they turned.
Ivy was sitting on the floor with a few cushions lying at her feet, her mouth had dropped open as if she was sporting a permanently dislocated jaw.
Diana glanced at Daisy accusingly, for shocking Ivy to this extent.
Daisy scowled a bit. She had forgotten about Ivy’s presence in the chaotic atmosphere.
When she felt them looking at her, Ivy forcefully shut her jaws as she dragged herself to her feet, ’’You are... a woman?" Ivy walked towards them while asking in a calm voice.
Relieved by her calmness in adapting to the change in the situation, Daisy nodded wordlessly.
’’A full woman?" Ivy repeated as she stopped in front of Daisy.
Daisy’s lips parted but before she could utter a word, Ivy spoke up again, ’’I don’t buy it. You... You... How can you be a woman? I...’’
Her words came to a halt as her gaze traveled to Daisy’s chest, ’’Are they real? They must be silicone... right... right?"
The disbelief in her tone kept increasing.
’Puch’
When Ivy did not get her desired answer, she poked her finger straight into Daisy’s breast.
Daisy’s face turned dark.
’’No... No... Silicone shouldn’t be this supple. Maybe some other kind of stuff... You...’’ Ivy dazedly looked at Angel’s round bottom that covered Daisy’s other breast.
Feeling her fiery gaze, little Angel blinked, ’’Vi... Vi...’’
But before the poor thing could babble some more, her little bottom was lifted without any warning, as Ivy poked and squeezed around Daisy’s breast like a professional plastic surgeon trying to determine the truth of those twin mounds.
Diana closed her eyes when she saw Daisy’s darkening face.
’’You...’’
Before Daisy could continue, Diana grabbed the over-enthusiastic Ivy and detached her away from Daisy, ’’Let’s go. We can discuss it slowly.’’
’’Wait... They feel pretty real,’’ Ivy looked at her hands and then stretched them towards Daisy’s chest, amazed and bewildered. She swung her legs and hands in struggle as Diana exerted every bit of force to drag her away from the crime scene.
Later that night.
The chaos of the evening had long dispersed and the night was drowned in silence.
Diana laid in her bed, looking at the ceiling blankly.
After some time, she pushed herself to her feet and retrieved her diary from the closet.
She walked towards the window and sat on the windowsill before flipping open a blank page.
The nip of her pen remained pressed on the page, forming a dot until Diana took a deep breath and lowered her gaze.
She laughed bitterly before closing the diary and placing it aside.
’’Strange...’’
Everytime she had picked her diary before, it would usually be a time when she could go on writing for pages. Be it when she was sad, be it when she was happy, or excited, but she had never picked up her diary and felt blank about what she was feeling at that moment or confused about what she was supposed to write.
There was an aching inside her and she could not ease it regardless of how she tried.
When she saw Maxim at the door a few hours ago, she just wanted to pounce on him, to fight with him, to say what she felt. But then, her head went blank and she realized that she had nothing to say to him.
After inhaling a deep breath, Diana put her messy hair in a high bun and walked out of the door, ’’When are we having dinner? I am starving...’’ Her footsteps slowed down when she noticed the dimly lit house room.
After Maxim left and she explained things to Ivy, Diana locked herself in her room and worked on a few things that she had wanted to do a long time ago.
But when she could not stay focused, she just laid on the bed mindlessly.
Hence, she had no idea what these two people outside had been up to.
’’Ivy...? Daisy...?" Diana glanced at the clock, ’’It’s past 10 pm already. Did they eat without me... ?’’
Diana’s footsteps slowed when her gaze landed on the dining table. The sight lavish meal greeted her vision. The spread of the various delicacies had her mouth-watering.
And what surprised her more was the proper Chinese cuisine. Usually, Ivy would find it hard to cook Chinese so she did not have the privilege to have it even though she craved it.
It must be Daisy.
Diana pulled a chair and grabbed a fluffy dumpling.
But just as she was about to take a bite, her movements halted and her brows tugged together slightly.
Even if it was Angel’s sleep time, Daisy and Ivy should be here after she called for them so many times.
’’Daisy...?’’ Diana pushed herself to her feet, ’’Ivy...?"
No response.
No noise.
And it took her a moment to realize what was happening.
Diana placed the dumpling back on the plate, ’’Maxim.’’
The moment her voice dropped, the man stepped out from the balcony and walked towards her with a straight face. There was an expectant look in his eyes every time he met her gaze.
Diana pursed her lips, ’’You think it’s funny?"
