Those words left from the doctor’s mouth vanished the happiness in a blink of an eye and they quickly pulled back staring ahead.

"What complications?" Noah asked, still holding into Alice’s hands.

Watching the anxiousness returning on their faces, the doctor sighed. "As you both know the chances of Alice becoming a mother were minimal, yet a miracle happened, so now that she has finally conceived you have to be more careful"

"Careful" The doctor eyed Alice meaningfully communicating what she meant.

"Oh, okay I understood and what else should we take care of," Alice asked as the smile on her face returned once again, but the man sitting next to her couldn’t comprehend.

He still couldn’t understand the hidden meaning behind her words and why was Alice smiling.

After discussing a few things with the doctor Alice was then taken for an ultrasound.

"Do you see the small dot over there? That’s your baby" the doctor said pointing to the screen.

"It’s so small" Noah gaped at the tiny thing unable to believe that it was their child.

"It’s 3 weeks old"

Both Alice and Noah beamed at each other happily. "Did you see that Noah? It’s out baby. It’s so small" Tears welled up in Alice’s eyes as she spoke.

She still felt like it was a dream she was living in. Something that thought would never happen, was finally there, breathing inside her womb.

After watching their child for a long time, Alice and Noah finally left the doctor’s cabin but not before reminding about the warning she gave them before leaving.

Inside the car, while his one hand held the steering wheel, his other hand kept holding Alice’s hand. Noah forgot the count he had kissed it, but he couldn’t help.

He was so happy that he wanted to shout, letting the entire world know that he was going to become a father.

Smiling at his gesture Alice said," Stop... how long are you going to kiss me" Though she was loving it yet she couldn’t distract him.

He was still driving the car after all. It was better for him to concentrate on the road instead of her.

"I can’t stop Alice. If I wasn’t the one driving I would have kissed you like there was no tomorrow" Noah expressed his thoughts and watched her shake her head in defeat.

The moment they stepped inside the house, Noah quickly pinned her against the wall taking Alice off guard.

"You will be fine right?" Alice asked nervously.

"I will. You don’t have to stress so much" he said and once again hugged her back but deep in his mind he was crying as he wasn’t used to taking cold showers.
