Dropping Ashley off, Tristan drove to the company where he found Gwen sitting inside his cabin carrying a gloomy face.

She had just received a call from Karl who told her everything that happened there and how he agreed on marrying Linda.

She knew he did it for them to believe that he wasn’t playing with them but deep down his words scared her. Not that she didn’t trust Karl. But what about Linda whom she couldn’t put her faith in?

Busy pondering her thoughts, she heard the sound of the door open and her eyes went towards Tristan who just walked in.

"I thought you and Karl have patched up but watching the look on your face I doubt everything is right," Tristan said walking towards his sister who quickly stood up from the couch and hugged Tristan.

Surprised by her action, Tristan sensed something wasn’t right. Patting her back he embraced her for some time and pulled back.

"Did something happen?" he asked tucking the hair strand from her face.

Gwen might be someone who likes annoying him at times, yet he could stop himself from worrying about her. He knew things weren’t so smooth in her and Karl’s relationship, but since she decided to sort things out on her own he supported her.

"Brother, what would you do if someone tried to snatch sister-in-law from you?" her words caught him off guard but then he release where they came from.

"I will never that happen and fight for it" he immediately answered.

"But what if you fail and in the end, your enemy wins?" she shot again but the words Tristan said next took her by surprise.

"I will never fail, because my love for her will never let me lose" Tristan proudly declared.

Something about his words strike Gwen and the doubt she had in her heart vanished.

"Now tell me what’s bothering you?" Tristan asked caressing her hair.

Taking a moment Gwen looked at Tristan and told him everything. She talked about her fears regarding Linda and how she couldn’t go lightly with her.

Tristan silently heard his sister and after much thought he said, "Carry with your plan and leave the rest to me"

It was high time that he look into this matter. He was now regretting agreeing with Charles to let his granddaughter work with them. If he was aware of her true intentions, he wouldn’t have thought of teasing Karl.

Somewhere he felt it was partly his fault for not looking into this situation more. A girl who had a crush on Karl since high school, how could he think she couldn’t rekindle those emotions again, but this time she was here with an ulterior motive.

After talking with Tristan Gwen felt a lot better.

"By the way did you find who was the person who provided Fox Feed Media your marriage details," Gwen asked remembering about the interview.

Now that she brought up the topic Tristan couldn’t stop from pondering on the thought.

"No, we couldn’t," he said with a glint of irritation in his tone.

She remembered Karl investigating the same, yet after much brainstorming, they couldn’t find the person behind the leak.

Thinking for some time Gwen said," I think you should ask Noah to look into this thing. He is good with computers, so why not ask him"

Turning around his head Tristan gave her a strange look. "What?" she asked unable to guess what he was trying to say with that don’t you know the face.

"Is there anything I don’t know?" she asked.

"Tsk forget it. You are too small to talk about it" Tristan tried brushing away the topic, but Gwen was too stubborn to let his pass so easily.

"Who said I am small? I am twenty-four and there is nothing in the world I don’t understand" Gwen snapped.

She had crossed the age of a normal teenager and here her brother was still treating her as a child.

Heaving out a sigh, Tristan said, "I can’t tell him and please don’t ask me why" With that Tristan turned and walked towards his CEO’s chair.

Gwen eyes her brother suspiciously wondering what was going on with Noah and why wasn’t brother disturbing him.

Meanwhile sitting inside the doctor’s cabin, Noah along with Alice were waiting for the results.

After tailing Alice for an entire day in her office, stopping her from doing almost everything, she literally had to threat from spilling out everything that was going on his mind.

After a long threatening session, Noah finally opened his mouth that told her the reason for his unusual behavior.

At first, she wanted to beat the shit out of him, but when she pondered his words, it somewhat started to make sense. So now here they were waiting for the doctor to tell them what was written inside the report.

Both Alice and Noah were anxiously looking at the doctor and after a long run through the reports the doctor finally looked up.

"So my assumption was right," the doctor said with a serious expression almost making Noah break into a sweat.

’What does she mean by assumption?’ he thought feeling anxious.

’What if her words turned out to be true’ Another thought popped into his mind and he grabbed Alice’s hand tightly.

As the couple looked at the doctor anxiously suddenly the lady broke into a smile," Congratulations, you are going to be parents"

"Wuahhh... Alice... you are pregnant" Noah cried like a child pouncing on Alice.

Alice couldn’t believe what she heard. It felt like a dream to her, but the moment Noah hugged her the realization hit her hard.

"I-I am pregnant" Tears streamed down her eye and she hugged Noah tightly.

The moment they had been waiting for finally arrived. Her dream of becoming a mother was fulfilled.
