Tristan inquired looking at Tori who shook her head in denial. " He is waiting for you," she said and soon they entered the building.

Tori had managed to convince her father to meet Tristan and in return, she would forgive him.

Patrick eager to gain his daughter’s forgiveness gave in to her condition and here he was waiting for the man.

Taking the elevator they ride to the last floor of the building before they entered the suite.

Sitting on the couch the man watched his daughter and Tristan walk in. "It was quite a surprise when I heard from my daughter that the Tristan Knight wants to meet me"

Patrick kept his attitude natural as he welcome them. "Please have a seat Mr. Knight or should I say, Martin"

Tristan shot a glance with his brow arching up as he watched the man smile at him. Martin was the nickname he used as the leader of the Jaguar, but very few knew about it.

It was quite impressive to find that Patrick knew so deeply about him.

"Anything you want but I prefer Tristan over Martin" Tristan returned him with the same smile and took the seat.

Tori who now knew his father was an underworld leader just as influential and powerful as Tristan Knight. He almost had everything under his control, from the cops to the government, everyone feared him.

It was too shocking to find how he achieved such immense power in such a short time, but it wasn’t new as it was in his blood to deceive people around him.

While the two big underworld personalities faced each other. The tension between the two was quite evident to avoid.

She wondered why Tristan asked her to set their meeting knowing how there were possibilities of Sandra finding everything about it.

She heard that Patrick had provided Sandra with half of his army to defeat the Knights, and there were high chances of her somehow learning about this confidential meeting.

"Tell me, Tristan, why did you want to meet me?" Patrick asked as the smile on his face vanished, replacing it with seriousness.

Crossing his leg over the other Patrick leaned back on the couch with his eyes staring at Tristan intently.

Smirking at his change in behavior, Tristan dive straight to the point and said," I want you to stop your daughter from targeting my wife"

Tristan was tired of this cat-and-mouse play. He knew Sandra had been hiding until now because of Patrick’s protection. If not for his support, she wouldn’t have survived until now.

Patrick’s eyes flickered with darkness. Tristan’s words were like a final warning to him which highly impressed the man who had been dying to meet his opponent.

Patrick knew about the Jaguar clan for a long time but after their leader got injured in a car accident, a new leader took control of his clan, emerging to be more powerful and ruthless than the former.

But he wasn’t that well-known, someone was given a chance to meet him. He was just a lowly drug dealer working for some third party illegally, making money from it.

"And what makes you think, she will listen to me" Patrick exclaimed.

Sandra was like an untamed beast who didn’t like being controlled by anyone. All these years he had tried to change her, helping her forget about the things or the people she wouldn’t have.

But she wasn’t listening. Her madness for Tristan had no boundaries and the day she learned about his marriage, her craziness turned even more intense.

It wasn’t a surprise for Tristan to hear those words from him. Because he knew if he was capable enough to handle his daughter, she wouldn’t have given him such a hard time.

While Patrick was busy trying to heal his daughter, Sandra had other plans.

"Then take this as the last warning because, this time when I finally find her, she wouldn’t even have the chance to breath alive. Do you get that! "

Both Tori and Patrick were taken aback by Tristan’s deadpan words. He knew the reason why he wasn’t able to find Sandra was because Patrick was helping her the entire time.

He knew she was still in the same city but the protection she was provided with kept her safe until now.

"Make sure my words reaches her" With that Tristan stood up and walked out of the suite without paying him a second glance.

Patrick sat rooted on his seat as his eyes then turned towards his daughter who quickly masked her expression returning to the aloof one.

"I think it’s high time that she puts an end to this madness," Tori said looking straight into her father’s eyes.

They were blank as white paper, with no ounce of emotions in them.

Sparing him a last glance she took walked out of the door leaving Patrick alone to deal with his emotions.

Stepping out of the building, Tristan offered Tori a ride back to the base but she politely rejected it.

"Thanks for the help," he said looking at the young girl who decided to go against her family to help them.

If not for her phone call that day where she expressed her request to help them find Sandra, he wouldn’t have decided to put faith in the words.

Tori wanted to rectify the mistakes she did thinking her sister was innocent all along when in reality she wasn’t as innocent as she appeared to be.

Unfortunately, she came to find her true intentions a little late, but it wasn’t a gone case either. She still had chances to make up for the crime she did by hurting Ashley and her father.

"I had to do it. I am still sorry for whatever my sister did to everyone one of you" Tori was genuinely sorry and she didn’t mind saying it to them every time they meet.

Tristan sensed the sincerity in her voice and bobbed his head in agreement. "Okay then, I’ll take my leave" Since she didn’t want his help Tristan didn’t force her.

Getting into the car, he drove away from there.

Tori had her eyes fixed on the car until it disappear from her sight, but unknown to her there was another car parked at a distance from where she stood.

Inside the car, Sandra fumed when she saw her sister with Tristan. "So I was right the entire time... my baby sister has joined hands with my enemy"

Her eyes turned cold as her palm around the steering wheel tightened. She never thought her sister would ever backstab her, but what shocked her more was that even her father was involved in it.

"You both are the bane to my revenge" she flared gritting her teeth in fury.

As she kept looking ahead, Sandra turned on the engine and raced the car, before she released the brake.

Her entire body burned with the news that both her sister and father were trying to backstab her, but she won’t let that happen.

She had come too long and now she couldn’t lose, even if that means she had to eliminate those people who were a hurdle in her path.

Increasing the speed Sandra raced the car toward Tori forgetting that she shared a blood relationship with her. She had long past the feeling of being emotional and holding sentiments for the people she loved.

All she had in her mind was Tori was the hurdle and she had to erase her. "I sorry baby sis, but you have to die" muttered as she drove the car.

"Hey watch out," Max who came to pick up Tori noticed a car speeding her way, and yelled from the other side of the street.

Tori frowned as she turned her head and watched a black car accelerating her way, but before it could hit her she jumped back dodging the hit, and watched the car drive away.

"Damnit..." Sandra cursed but didn’t lower the speed until she drove far away from the spot.

Max rushed toward Tori and help her stand up as he started examining her body. "Are you hurt?" he asked with concern.

Tori who was still traumatized by the event couldn’t even look away from the direction the car drove.

It was Max who shook her by her shoulder, then she snapped into his direction. For a moment she couldn’t speak but when reality slowly sunk in, she quickly pounced into Max’s arm.

While she kept hugging him, her eyes kept following the direction. She had just escaped death, but didn’t it appear like an accident?

"Come let’s go," Max said as he guided her towards the car and soon they drove away.
