Chapter 374: Nothing will happen
Staying in Tristan’s embrace for some time, Ashley finally calmed down. Though the dream was still vivid in her thoughts she tried not to get worried by it.
After all, it was just a dream, she thought and pulled back from his embrace.
"Better," Tristan asked
"Hmm..." Giving him a light nod Ashley hummed before she climbed down from the bed. She still had to freshen up, so without wasting any time she quietly entered the bathroom.
Tristan silently watched her entering the bathroom as she didn’t speak a word again and that made him wonder how much of that stupid dream ended up spoiling his wife’s mood.
As soon as the door closed, Tristan too snapped out of his thoughts before returning to the couch and resuming his work.
He quickly finished off his work before Ashley stepped out after taking a shower and walked towards the dressing table.
She kept staring at herself in the mirror before her eyes went down to her stomach.
Bringing her hand up she placed it on her small swollen belly as she tried to feel her bean and closed her eyes.
Her body instantly relaxed as the memories of the dream slowly vanished. ’Mom will never let anything happen to you’ she promised her unborn and quickly got changed.

Alice stepped into her house with Noah entirely leaning on her. His cheeks were tainted pink due to the amount of wine he consumed. If not for Tristan’s warning, Noah would have passed out at the Brown Mansion.
"Why did you drink so much Noah.." opening the door to their room, Alice carried Noah to their bed and helped him lie down.
Noah didn’t answer her back and just kept staring at her with his drowsy eyes.
Alice heaved out a sigh and sat next to him, slowly stroking his hair and watched him smile like a small kid. "Alice... I love you" he said with his stutter tone.
"I know..." she answered with a smile.
"And I promise to find Dylan. Wherever he is I will find him" he said. His voice now heavy and his eyes seriously looking at her.
Alice had already guessed the reason why he drank so much. He was just stressing himself for not being able to locate Dylan.
"I know... you will find him from any corner of the world" she agreed bringing her hand closer to his face and slowly caressing it.
"I think you should sleep," she said and he quickly shook his head.
Before she could ask him the reason, Noah swiftly pinned her on the bed with him hovering over her frame. His eyes had now turned dark with lust as he stared at her intensely.
"Not before I savor you honey" Though he was drunk, his mind was fully sober.
Alice wanted to object but Noah didn’t give her the chance to speak and quickly sealed her mouth making her swallow her words back.
"No more talking " he spoke against her lips and continued savoring her until his heart was content.

Somewhere in country J, Dylan had safely managed to escape from the cops and Noah’s men who kept looking for him everywhere.
Thankfully he had some contacts which help him to flee from that country and settle in a new one where no one could find him.
After many days of running, Dylan was now staying in a place that was smaller than his maid’s quarter.
Life had turned hard for him after he lost everything and the reason was none other than Noah Wayne.
After suffering a major blow by the Wayne’s, Dylan was again trying to reset his business with the help of Avera’s father. But everything went down the lane when no investor wanted to work with them.
He traveled along with his father everywhere with good business proposals but as if he was struck by bad luck, no one found his work worthy enough to put their shares in, and slowly and steadily they kept losing a little bit of money they had saved for themselves.
He thought, just like the previous time, Avera would be able to convince her father to support him but that cunning old man decline any sort of help, leaving him with nothing but struggle.
He was still facing the crisis when suddenly one day he learned that Avera was taken by the cops and the next person they were looking for is him.
Dylan was so scared that he quickly planned his escape without informing his father about it. They were in a condition where he couldn’t effort escaping with his father.
In the end, he betrayed his father leaving him alone to deal with everything, and came here to country J.
His eyes blankly stared at his cell phone as he watched a message sent by an unknown number.
’If you want me to help you, then contact me" he read the text as a deep frown marred his face.
He looked at the unknown number and fumed. He was about to delete the text when another message popped.
"Don’t ignore it-Lucas Scott" he again read the text and this time the rage in his eyes dissipated.
He remembered the man who was none other than Natalie’s father, someone who worked with Avera to destroy Alice and Noah’s relationship.
But who would have thought, the couple would come out this strong where they would trick the two by marrying without any slightest clue?
A mocking chuckle escaped his lips and Dylan was about to ignore the text but then he stopped, falling into a deep thought.
A minute of thinking made him change his mind and instead of deleting the text, he rather made a call on that number.
After a few rings, the phone was finally answered. "I knew you would call" the man on the other end spoke.

[ Gabriel’s house]
Sitting on the couch of her assigned room, Tori kept looking ahead absentmindedly. The way Max left after dropping her broke her heart. He never once spoke with her nor did he turn to look at her when he walked away.
It was as if, he was trying to maintain distance between them and never wanted to get closer to her anymore. She knew he was hurt but she never thought he would start avoiding her the next instance.
"Why are you upset now Tori? Didn’t you want the same" Tori shot her head into the direction of the mirror from where her reflection spoke to her.
