Both Tristan and Ashley reached the base after Jack informed him that they found the man and he was currently held captive in their base.

Since it was Ashley’s first time visiting Jaguar’s second hideout, her eyes went wide observing the tight security with Tristan’s men guarding every corner of the place.

The moment they watched their leader walk in with their lady boss everyone lowered their head in greeting. Giving them a light nod, Tristan took Ashley toward their main office.

Tristan wanted to interrogate that man all by himself but when Ashley urged him to take her along, he could bring himself to decline her.

[ Inside the main office]

"Did he spill anything?" Tristan asked as soon as they entire the spacious hall along with Ashley.

Everyone was surprised to see Ashley but they quickly composed their shock and greeted them.

Jack who was too standing with the other guards stepped forward and answered," No, we have found anything solid from him until now" hi words made Tristan arch his brow.

Turning his head to his side, he looked at Ashley and said," You stay here. I will be back in a minute" Letting go of her hand, he then motioned to one of his guards and asked him to take Ashley to his private room.

He didn’t want Ashley to see him torture that man to make him spill the truth. She was pregnant and getting traumatized was bad for both her and his child.

Once he watched Ashley walk along with the guard, Tristan then headed to the torture cell along with Jack where the man was being interrogated by his men.

The yelling and crying sound inside the cell were silenced when Tristan walked in with Jack tailing him from behind. The moment his eyes fell landed on the man Tristan’s entire aura darkened.

Motioning his men to step aside, Tristan rolled his sleeves to his elbow while his eyes looked at the tools that were used to torture the man.

Getting their leader’s signal his men soon vacated the room along with Jack who closed the door after stepping out leaving only the two inside.

Jack who had witnessed the murderous gleam in Tristan’s eyes couldn’t help but fear what will happen inside the cell. The man was already tortured until he bleed but still, he wasn’t ready to speak and now wondered what will Tristan do to make him spill the beans.

Everyone standing outside the torture room couldn’t hear a sound and just when they felt everything was fine they suddenly heard aloud painful cry that startled them as they shot their attention to the door.

Though everyone was aware of Tristan’s merciless torture, the heart-wrenching voice made them break into a sweat.

Before anyone could take a step, the door of the torture flung open and Tristan walked out wiping his blood-soaked hands.

"Trace the last call on his phone and get me the details of the person and also get me his bank details" Tristan instructed Jack and walked towards his private room.

Jack finally heaved out a deep breath which he didn’t know for how long he kept holding. Once Tristan was gone, he too turned and entered the cell along with the other men.

[Private Room]

Ashley was sitting by herself, waiting for Tristan to come over. She thought by coming here, she would be able to meet the man, but Tristan didn’t let her do that instead he asked her to wait for him in his private room.

Understanding the situation, she thought maybe it was better for Tristan to deal with him in his way and decided to silently wait for his return.

She was busy pondering her thoughts when the door of the room opened and Tristan stepped in.

The moment Ashley saw him, she got up from her seat and rushed to him, but stopped midway when she saw the blood stain on his sleeves and the front of the T-shirt.

Uneasiness crawled into her body and she quickly turned away. "Can you change your clothes? I don’t feel good" she asked taking a few deep breaths as she tried to calm herself.

Understanding her discomfort, Tristan started unbuttoning his T-shirt as he walked inside the bathroom. Within ten minutes he took a quick shower and stepped out wearing new pair of clothes and approached Ashley.

The second his freshly bathe fragrance reached her sense, she turned and faced him.

Ashley had already guessed what must have happened inside the torture room, so she skipped that thought and came straight to the point. "Did he confess?" she asked with her eyes expectantly looking at him.

Tristan heaved out a sigh and bobbed his head. "Yes he did and..." his words made her eyes shine brighter than the star and heard him further continue," You were right. It’s not Gabriel but someone else who hired him to do this work"

Tristan recalled the moment when that man told him that it was a woman who hired him for this work and in return she would give him money.

On further investigation, the man happens to inform that, he never met the woman as the deal was fixed on the phone call and after completing the work, he also received the money directly into his account.

A deep frown marred her face when Tristan finished telling her everything. They both fell into a deep thought thinking about the woman, the man spoke about.

"Who must be that woman he mentioned and why would she make such a deal with him?" Ashley mumbled as she failed to recall if she ever offended anyone apart from Jane.

"Don’t worry we will soon catch her but before that, I have to meet someone" Tristan’s words caught her attention and she cocked her brow in questioning.

Tristan just shrugged his shoulders without answering her and soon they left the base.

[ Sandra’s place]

"What do you mean they found him?" Sandra gnashed her teeth in fury when Lucas informed her that the man they hired to kill Ariana was caught by Tristan’s men.

Lucas pursed his lips into a thin line and lowered his head when he couldn’t handle her blood-shot eyes that were throwing daggers at him.

Fuming in rage, Sandra threw the small vase that was resting on the table causing a commotion.

Lucas flinched at her outrage and broke into a sweat. He just felt like running away from there without looking back but he couldn’t knowing that now his life was bound to work as a slave for her.

"I don’t think they would ever come to learn that it’s you who finalized the deal with him," Lucas spoke after much thought and watched her turn to look at him.

"And what about the number?" she asked with a deep crease on her forehead.

"I have already destroyed it" Lucas answered confidently.

He had already assumed that one day the man would be caught by them but he never imagined it would be so soon. Luckily he managed to destroy every proof that will lead to them, and now he was rest assured that Tristan’s men would never be able to catch them.

Sandra observed Lucas and bobbed her head slowly calming her wrecking nerves. She could notice the confidence in his claim, so she decided to trust him.

Lucas finally relaxed when her aura returned to normal. They had planned the attack to kill Ashley with the intention of putting the entire blame on Gabriel. He wanted to kill two birds with one shot but who would’ve thought the man would fail to execute his plan but he was glad that Tristan might come to blame Gabriel for it.
