Tristan flashed his million-dollar smile and answered," Yes, it’s me"

Ashley sighed, and let out a satisfying chuckle before wrapping her arm around Tristan’s neck and resting her other palm on his heart.

"I almost prepared myself for a counter-attack" Ashley stated as a matter of fact. The second she was lifted she had fisted her palm to punch his face but his handsome face stopped her.

"I would’ve gladly accepted it," Tristan said still smiling, and carried her in his arms heading to their suite.

Entering Tristan let go of Ashley had helped her stand down before he pecked her cheeks.

"I thought you wanted to spend some time staring at the water under the gleaming moon" he expressed his desire with a small pout appearing on his face.

Ashley couldn’t stop herself from smiling. Sometimes he would do something so adorable that it would end up brightening her mood.

Holding his wrist, she took him toward the couch and made him sit before she joined him sitting on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck," Hmm.. so you wanted to see the moon and stars...hmm"

Tristan nodded his head like an innocent child and circled his arms around her waist before resting his head on her chest, "It’s a couple thing you know,"

Ashley smiled and started stroking his head when her eyes went out of the sliding huge door that took them to the vast gazebo balcony.

"Do you want to see them now" she mumbled next to his ear and watched him bob his head and without wasting a second she climb down off his lap and stood up.

Tristan watched her in confusion and saw her reach her palm asking him to take it. Without any hesitation, Tristan held her hand and she took to the balcony from where they could see the vast sea and also the moon and the stars.

"See it’s so simple," she said once they reach the balcony.

Tristan’s eyes shined looking at the night view. His heart filled with happiness and he turned to see Ashley who had her eyes ahead as she smiled grasping the scenery.

"There is also one thing couples do when they stand under the moon and the stars" his deep hypnotic voice broke her trance and before she could react, Tristan pulled her by her waist and leaned closer until their lips touched," They seal their fate with a passionate kiss"

Beach

Alice stayed there staring at the vast water, deeply immersed in her thoughts. The conversation she had with Ashley struck so many questions regarding Tristan’s and Noah’s agenda.

Why would someone want to target Ashley when Tristan was the main goal? Is it because she was his partner or there is something more to it that they both aren’t aware of?

While Alice was busy pondering her thoughts, she felt a warm thing wrapped around her shoulder and she snapped out, looking to the side.

"It’s cold here. You shouldn’t be staying here for long" Noah said joining Alice.

After meeting Tristan, he followed him but stopped when he found him and Ashley together. He thought Alice might also have headed to their suite, so he went there but found no one.

Anxious to meet her, he again walked back here where he saw her alone, observing the blue water under the glittery moonlight.

Alice smiled looking at the jacket on her shoulder and moved closer to him, resting her head on his shoulder.

"It isn’t cold anymore. I have you" propping her head she watched him smile at her.

Alice didn’t want to let external factors spoil their relationship. Yes, she had many things to learn about but, she wouldn’t let them invade their moment.

Noah felt relief when he saw her. The uneasiness in his heart disappeared when her serene face came across his view.

Tristan was right. He shouldn’t let his fear doubt his love. Being transparent with your partner about your problems, tightened the bond.

In these few days of being together with Alice, never for once, he had seen any change in Alice’s love for him. Then why was he doubtful that she wouldn’t understand him after she finds his true identity?

"Noah!" her calm voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he hummed holding her closer to him.

"Say something," she asked.

Alice always found it odd whenever Noah didn’t speak. She had been so used to of his constant talk that she didn’t like it when he would space out.

Noah raised his brow and looked down at her, watching her pull away and stare at him.

"What do you want me to say?"

"Anything, but don’t stay quiet. I want to keep listening to you" she expressed.

Noah thought for some time before he began telling her about his childhood stories. He had always been a naughty kid who liked causing trouble wherever he went. His parents would get worried thinking about his future because he wasn’t an attentive kid who got good grades.

As a kid, he was more inclined toward women and liked tailing behind them like a lost puppy trying to grasp their attention. The first woman whom he had a crush on was his fifth-grade teacher.

She was the most beautiful woman he had seen and the way she would smile at him would flutter his heart. His puppy love was so innocent that he went on asking her out in front of the class, but got rejected when she declared she already had a fiancé and she was soon going to get married.

"Then you experienced your first heartbreak in fifth grade," Alice asked in the middle of his story.

"Heartbreak! No way. the very next day, I laid my eyes on another girl and started wooing her" Noah chuckled remembering how player he was since he was a kid.

Alice pursed her lips trying to fight her laughter but soon burst as she couldn’t hold on.

"No doubt, your mother kept a tap on your life. She knew her son was a troublemaker and one day would end up into a big problem"

Alice laughed recalling Anna’s words telling her about the day when she had caught Noah red-handed making out with one of his flings. She literally had to shove her away because she found out the girl was just sticking with Noah because of his money.

Noah scratched his head in embarrassment and averted his eyes from her. So stupid of him to waste his youth running behind girls just to satisfy his needs. But he was glad that he found Alice and she changed him.

The couple spend some time chatting on the beach and then headed back to their room. Alice felt so close to Noah when he talked about his childhood with her now she only hoped, just like today, he would end up telling her about the things that he was hiding from her.

Tori couldn’t fall asleep. Her mind kept drifting to the conversation she had with Piper and her eyes gleam with sadness. She didn’t want to get upset but Piper’s words opened the wounds, she had been hiding being a strong façade.

Her eyes well up thinking of the one person who was close to her heart. Sandra, her elder sister who died an unfortunate death that left both her and Gabriel devastated.

And the person who caused her death was non-other than Tristan Knight. Because of him, she lost her sister and Gabriel lost the love of his life.

Thinking about Tristan, her eyes turned cold and she wiped her tears. She wouldn’t cry until she take revenge on them and making suffer the same pain Sandra went through.

"Tristan Knight, count down your happy days because soon you are going to experience the same pain which my sister went through. I will snatch the love of your life, letting you go through hell until you reach your own destruction "

Tori, wouldn’t let him rest in peace when her sister died a painful death, because she fell in love with a man who didn’t value her and she ended up taking her own life.

"You will suffer Tristan knight, and I will make sure you won’t find peace in your life" she declared with her eyes shining in determination.

The next morning, Tristan woke up when his phone began to ring. It was a call from the manager of the resort. Climbing down from the bed Tristan stepped out of the room and had his conversation with the manager, instructing him a few things.

Once he was done, Tristan returned back to the room and smiled. After their kiss under the moonlight, Tristan found himself falling deeper and deeper in love with Ashley.

She was the perfect missing piece to his jigsaw-like life. No wonder she understood him so well that she didn’t waste a second and fulfilled his wish.

His heart was moved by her sweet gesture and he couldn’t stop himself from kissing her. Thinking about the kiss, Tristan smiled and walked towards the bed before slowly hopping in laying next to his wife, and admiring her jaw-drop beauty.

"You look even more alluring in your sleep. I wish I could hide you somewhere away from the world and keep you safe with me" he whispered unable to resist her beauty that was too eye-catching.
