Chapter 220: Lovesick fools

Chapter 220: Lovesick fools

"Where do you want to take me?" Ashley mumbled in her sleepy voice and slowly opened her eyes.

Tristan’s lips curled up into a full-fledged smile and he leaned forwards to kiss her but soon he demanded more.

"Umm... Tristan, it’s too early for another round" Ashley stopped him by pushing him slightly away and watched him pout.

She could just roll her eyes before pulling herself up to sit. Last night wasn’t enough for him, so he started asking for more early morning.

"I wasn’t going to go further," Tristan said with a gleam of mischievous in his words.

"I know where it was going. You aren’t that innocent Tristan" she stated knowing how this man turns horny in no time forgetting the place and time.

Tristan smiled agreeing to her words and climbed off the bed before he walked to the other side of the bed and picked Ashley in his arms.

"What’s the plan?" she asked wrapping her arms around his neck.

"You will soon know it" saying he carried her to the bathroom.

After some time Ashley and Tristan along with the others stepped out wearing their swimwear and looked around the empty beach.

"....."

"Why is there no one around?" Alice asked turning her attention to Noah who shrugged, having no idea.

Yesterday when they came to the resort, it was crowded and lively. But now when they look around, they couldn’t find anyone except the staff.

Before anyone understood what was happening they heard Tristan’s deep voice that shot everyone’s attention towards him.

"I vacated the beach"

"...."

His words came out casually but they had a very powerful impact on the others.

"Has he lost his mind? Who does that" Alice muttered in disbelief and turned her attention to Ashley who had the same reaction as everyone.

Ashley was baffled by Tristan’s words, fluttered her eyes trying to understand what was wrong with him.

’Why would he do that?’ she thought staring at him with mixed emotions when his words broke her trance.

"I don’t want anyone to watch my wife wear the bikini," Tristan said pulling Ashley closer to him and dragged her away leaving the rest behind.

"This man is a jealous freak" Noah couldn’t believe Tristan.

"Woah.. that was so cool" Gwen’s chirpy voice made everyone look at her with dumbstruck expressions.

Alice just shook her head and followed the couple. Noah on the other hand passed Gwen a strange look before he met Karl’s eye who scratched his head and forced a smile.

"Hehe...Gwen... come let’s go" before Noah could say a word, he dragged Gwen towards the others.

"Lovesick fools" Noah mumbled looking at the Knight siblings in disbelief and started walking toward the beach.

Walking a few distances, Ashley looked at Tristan and said," You shouldn’t have cleared the place. Everyone came here to enjoy" her voice sounded sad as she expressed her feelings.

Stopping midway, Tristan turned and looked at her," Don’t worry, they will come here back once we leave"

Tristan wasn’t that cold heart to let the customer suffer. He had asked the staff to clear the beach for only a few hours until they were here. And after they leave, they can ask the people to step in.

The sadness inside Ashley’s heart dissipated after listening to his assuring words and she smiled happily, "Okay"

Finding her mood back to normal Tristan asked," Do you want to surf".

Ashley nodded her head and Tristan turned to call one of the staff members asking him to bring some surfing boards.

"Aren’t we getting in" Alice muttered and removed the shrug exposing her perfect bikini body in front of everyone.

Noah who was behind rushed to her side as soon as he saw her standing there wearing a sexy bikini.

"Babe... you can’t remove it," Noah said picking up the shrug and wrapped it back around her body.

"Do you get my point now" Tristan muttered giving Noah a reality check.

Noah’s lips twitched as he glared at Tristan but the latter choose to ignore his piercing eyes and turned to his wife.

"Come let’s step into the water," Tristan said smiling at Ashley and they both walked ahead stepping into the water until the staff returned with the surfing boards.

Ignoring Noah’s constant nagging Alice, dropped the shrug and joined the other leaving Noah to deal with his insecurity.

Soon the surfing board was brought and the couples began enjoying the sport, spending their quality time on the beach.

Brown mansion

Tori prepared the breakfast along with Piper and set it on the table. She was in a very good mood after Max informed her that they had managed to move into the dungeon without any difficulty.

After managing from getting exposed, Gabriel asked everyone to speed up their energy and shift the entire base to the dungeon where no one would ever be able to locate them.

It didn’t take them time to vacate their previous hideouts and move into the new before Tristan’s men managed to track them.

Tori was busy savoring the victory when Piper’s voice snapped her out of her trance.

"Tori, master wants to meet you," Piper said and walked away from there without telling anything further.

Tori who had been busy enjoying her time suddenly felt strange. Master, she heard him right.

’Why would he want to meet her’ she thought.

Washing her hands quickly, she wiped them off and composed herself before she stepped out of the kitchen. Did she make any mistake, she thought when her eyes caught the sight of the middle age man.

Sitting on the head chair, Richard was busy eating his breakfast when he sensed someone’s presence and his eyes shift from the food to the person standing next to him.

"You summoned me, master," Tori asked keeping her voice low while her head lowered.

Placing the cup on his hand down on the table, Richard looked at the young girl whom he wanted to meet for so long.

It had been a few days since Tori joined as the assistant chef, working under Piper and the girl seem to be blessed with amazing cooking skills.

Having the food made by her, Richard couldn’t stop himself from praising the young girl.

"Tori, Am I right," he said looking at the girl who never once raised her head to look at him.

"Yes master" Tori answered bobbing her head.

"Tori, from where did you learn to cook such amazing dishes," Richard asked, as he couldn’t hold back his curiosity.

He didn’t get the time to appreciate the young girl’s effort but now that he got the chance, he didn’t hold back.

Tori snapped her head up looking at Richard in awe. This was the reason why he asked to come here.

Richard smiled looking at her startled expression. Did she think he called her here to scold her?

"Do I look scary?" he asked holding back his amazement.

Tori who didn’t realize that she had been staring at Richard with a horrifying expression composed herself after registering his playful words and shook her head.

"Then answer my question. From where did you learn to cook these amazing dishes?" Richard again rephrased his previous question once he found her turning back to normal.

"F-from my sister, Master" she answered down casting her eyes.

Yes, her sister Sandra was the one who used to cook for them after their mother died. But she couldn’t name her, knowing her lie will get exposed.

"Hmm... I would like to meet your sister one day" he expressed his desire to meet the woman who taught this young girl the art of cooking.

Tori snapped her head, shocked by Richard’s sudden wish. How was she supposed to bring her sister when she wasn’t even alive?

"Will you let me meet her? If possible, I can get her a job in my other branch as the head cook. I guarantee she would earn a lot of recognition for her work"

"She can’t come to meet you. She isn’t alive" Tori said sadly making the man shut his mouth.

"Oh.." Richard was so engrossed in his own world that he failed to notice the uneasiness when he mentioned her sister and his request to meet her.

"I’m sorry. I wasn’t aware of it" he expressed politely feeling bad for the young girl.

Tori didn’t speak a word and just kept standing there. She didn’t want anyone to feel pity for her, at least not for those whose people were the reason behind her misery.

Without asking anything further Richard asked her to leave. His eyes soften watching her retreating back, suddenly feeling bad for her.

Tori stepped into the kitchen and rushed towards the sink before turning on the tap and taking a handful of water into her palm before splashing it on her face.

Opening her bloodshot eyes, Tori looked ahead blankly. She didn’t like this feeling of sympathy from Richard. It made her feel miserable for not being able to tell him that it was because of his daughter’s husband she lost her beloved sister.
