Chapter 95: Fuck Off Along With Your Whore

Jules’ pov

I could feel everyone’s eyes on us and that unnerved me to the very core.

This is the first time Blaze and I would be walking together in public and the shock on every student would’ve been comical to me if I wasn’t freaking out a little on the inside because of the amount of attention we were currently attracting.

Everyone stopped what they were doing to stare at us, the entire hall was silent as we walked out of the elevator and began to walk through the crowd which automatically parted into two for us.

A pricking feeling gathered at the side of my neck and when I glanced sideways, my eyes landed on Taylor and Josh who were standing beside each other. They seemed to have been having a conversation before stopping to stare at us.

Taylor’s mouth was open in clear shock and his eyes widened when he zeroed in on my hand which was held by Blaze who seemed completely unfazed by the amount of attention we were currently getting.

Kai had an unreadable expression on his face and after our eyes locked, one of it closed in a wink and I quickly averted my gaze to stare straight ahead, while making sure to not trip on thin air.

On getting to the entrance of the hallway, I instantly stiffened because right in front of us was Xander walking in with two students who were clearly alphas. He had an omega in his arms as well, and as soon as he noticed Blaze and I, he slowed to a stop and I swallowed emptily, heart starting to pound against my ribs.

The two students who were previously walking with Xander instantly moved out of the way, clearly not wanting any trouble. The omega in Xander’s arms also tried to pull away, but Xander’s firm hold around the omega’s shoulders prevented that from happening.

The omega had a panicked look across his face and on peering closer at his face, I realized that the omega was one of those two Omegas who I had spotted in Blaze’s arms some days ago, which had caused me to feel ridiculously jealous.

I bit on my bottom lip as I sneaked a glance at Blaze’s face. He had an unreadable expression on as he regarded Xander, looking him up and down like he was a piece of dirt on the ground.

Xander was extremely tall as well, but not as tall as Blaze was.

As I stared at the omega who had made me feel so jealous that I had been on the verge of tears, I silently wondered if Blaze was currently feeling jealous on seeing this omega in Xander’s arms right now, or if he didn’t care.

I silently prayed that he doesn’t care, because if he does, it would only end up making me feel sick to my stomach in the worst way ever.

Xander finally focused on me and I shivered before taking a step closer to Blaze because he gave me the creeps.

Blaze let out a sound that sounded like a chuckle mixed with a scoff before dropping my hand and taking a step closer to Xander whose jaw ticked while his free hand formed a fist beside him.

"Do you have something to say to me?" Blaze spoke right in his face without bothering to beat around the bush.

Everyone were undoubtedly watching this scene unfold right now, and I genuinely wished I could disappear into thin air right now.

"Fuck off, and take your whore along with you." Xander spat in response and at once, gasps filled the entire hall.

It felt like I got doused with cold water. My cheeked colored in immense embarrassment and I suddenly wanted to drop dead right now. Anything is better than me being referred to as a whore in the presence of a whole lot of students right now.

Blaze let out another scoff and in the next moment, I didn’t see his hand move, I wasn’t even sure anyone did— including Xander, but in the next second, his fist was colliding into Xander’s chin, sending blood flying out from his mouth and sending him stumbling backwards in a heartbeat. The omega who was previously in his grasp let out a terror stricken cry and quickly slipped out of Xander’s loosened grip.

Shocked gasps filled the hall again, accompanied by horrified screams when Blaze grasped Xander’s collar and jerked him forward, snarling quietly into his face. His voice was quiet enough that others wouldn’t be able to pick up what he was saying, but I could.

"Alexander, I don’t like doing this with you, I consider it a waste of time. Do not test me. You know I don’t give two fucks about whatever alliance your father have with mine. It won’t stop me from beating you to a pulp if I want. You know your father won’t be able to do a thing to me if that happens. Call him a whore again, I dare you."

Shock engulfed me as I listened to everything Blaze had just said. With widened eyes, I watched as Xander bared his teeth and attempted to punch Blaze, but Blaze caught the punch with his palm and held it firmly, with his second hand still gripping Xander’s shirt tightly.

After a few fleeting moments, Blaze shoved Xander away, causing him to stumble and almost miss his footing before baring his teeth and spitting out blood.

There was so much anger and hatred in his eyes as he glared at Blaze who only scoffed like he couldn’t care less about Xander’s obvious anger before glancing back at me and holding a hand out.

It felt like my face was on fire from how hot it felt as I closed the distance between us and slipped my hand into his.

Xander’s angry gaze fell on me and even though his jaw tightened, he didn’t say a word.

After that, Blaze led me out of the hall filled to the brim with students, and I felt a thousand eyes on us as I walked beside him.
