Bone Alchemist: Necromancer of The Aberrations
Chapter 91: Jordan’s Fight

Chapter 91: Jordan’s Fight

Jordan lunged again, rolling like a crazed beast. His claws tore through the ground, kicking up a storm of debris, churning the earth into a chaotic swirl of jagged stone and acrid dust that stung the air.

Aes-Dareth summoned an illusion, creating five copies of themselves, but Jordan ignored them. He could sense the Diaphane’s true position, their very essence.

With a roar, he struck the real Aes-Dareth in the chest, sending them crashing to the ground. Their armor was holding up well, protecting and parrying the blows, its prismatic surface flickering with defiant light under the alien sky.

However, it would not last forever.

Seeing how easily their prismatic armor was being damaged, the Diaphane’s eyes widened.

They were genuinely shocked. They had not expected such immense strength from a mere EX Rank being.

"I destroy everything!" Jordan screamed, the mouth on his ribcage gaping wide, ready to bite. His emotions had reached a peak.

Hatred, euphoria, disgust, rage, ecstasy. Everything was blending together, making him an unstoppable force.

Each blow was stronger, each movement swifter. The ground beneath him melted, corroded by the venom seeping from his sore-covered body.

The battle raged on, but the outcome became clear.

Jordan would win.

From the spaceship, the Diaphane operators watched in terror. "Commander!" one shouted, their prismatic form trembling, their translucent limbs quivering like ripples in a disturbed pond.

"I know, do not worry. None of us will die here."

The commander spoke those words with growing fury.

They were impressed by the monster’s power, but that was all.

The Diaphane commander was far stronger.

With a gesture, they raised a hand, and time stopped.

The air grew heavy, Jordan’s movement froze mid-strike, debris suspended like statues. Only the commander moved, free from any restraint.

With a slow but controlled stride, they descended from the spaceship.

Their prismatic blade materialized, long and sharp. "You’ve gone too far, creature—"

They approached Jordan, the blade raised toward the pulsating plasma heart.

Beside the commander, kneeling on the ground, was Aes-Dareth. They breathed heavily as their body reformed yet again.

But the commander ignored them, focused solely on eliminating the threat.

And just as their blade was about to pierce the plasma heart, an overwhelming presence shattered the stillness created by the commander.

Time resumed, but Jordan found his body restricted. He could not move freely.

This enraged him even more.

"Kill! Destroy!" he screamed, ignoring everything. His obsession with battle had taken over, and his eyes turned toward the commander, as if daring to challenge them too.

However, an overpowering presence pinned him in place.

Jordan saw it.

Though he did not know his elder or younger siblings, he could recognize them. It was instinct.

It was Azure. His translucent, anthropomorphic form, as if not part of reality, with azure hair flowing like waves.

His black, universe-deep eyes lingered on Jordan for a moment before fixing on the Diaphane commander. "Enough."

But before the commander could speak, Jordan roared. "No one commands me!"

For him, loyalty to Jeremy was already enough. He would not take orders from anyone else, even if they were stronger.

Watching the scene, the commander did not know whether to laugh or cry.

But from Azure’s gaze, they understood much. There was nothing to jest about.

"Another EX Rank... yet their presence is vastly different from that other monster... they seem worlds apart."

The commander was stunned. Where the hell had they landed? Was it possible that, despite their power, they would die here?

Meanwhile, Jeremy, observing everything through his connection with Azure, appeared on the horizon, his figure cloaked in a black mantle. His eyes gleamed with a dangerous light.

"Jordan," he said, his voice sharp as a blade. "I created you. And I can destroy you."

Jordan, restless and ready to rampage until that moment, stopped.

His emotions began to fade. Then, with a small growl, he collapsed to the ground. His plasma heart ceased pulsing, and his emotions shut down.

He closed his eyes and fell, helpless and defenseless.

Jeremy turned to the commander, who still gripped the blade. "First of all," he said, his voice calm but laced with menace. "Who are you, and why were you following us?"

Jeremy’s figure was adorned with a black cloak that shrouded his entire being. No one knew his appearance.

The commander tilted their head. Could he really not know who they were? But after a moment’s thought, the boy’s gaze was not one of curiosity about their identity.

It was as if he already knew who they were. He just wanted to know why they were following him.

Their aura trembled, the ship’s crystals pulsing with intense red. Aes-Dareth, still on the ground, looked at their superior, unable to speak. "Commander..." they whispered mentally.

Azure took a step forward, the ground quaking beneath him. "Speak quickly," he said, his voice as robotic as ever. "My master does not wait."

Lowering the blade, the commander locked eyes with the boy.

"We are the Diaphanes, a race at war with the devils. I am Zyr-Vaelis, commander at Nova Rank, and these are my subordinates."

"We followed you because... it’s not every day you see a planet in motion, especially one without advanced technology or strange forces."

Jeremy’s eyes scanned the group of Diaphanes. Aside from the commander and the hooded figure, Aes-Dareth, the others remained on the ship. Their strength could be considered average among EX Ranks.

A total of 12 Diaphanes.

"How may I address you?" Zyr-Vaelis continued.

The boy smirked. "I am Jeremy Veydras, ruler of everything you see on this planet. And they—" he said, gesturing to Jordan and Azure, "are my Aberrations."

"And I’m Cambela." The woman bounded onto the scene.

The Diaphanes’ eyes sharpened at the sight.

"A devil!" one of the operators on the ark muttered.

The commander stared at her with unmasked murderous intent.

They despised devils. All of them did. There would be no war, no bloodshed, nothing at all if not for these worthless beings.

Sensing those glares, Cambela’s arrogant air faltered. She was only an EX Rank; she could not compete with these creatures.

But then, with a huff from Azure, everything returned to normal.

"Though she is a devil, we are not allied. We know of the animosity between your races. Furthermore—"

Jeremy crossed his arms over his chest, "We’re headed toward one of their systems. We want to make them pay for what they’ve done."

In truth, Jeremy wanted to destroy these beings as well. However, the commander was no weakling.

Nova Rank.

Beyond Stellar Rank. Beings capable of surviving freely in space, destroying entire planets with simple attacks.

He could not provoke such a being lightly. Not yet.

But his goal was to reach Stellar Rank in a matter of days, before attacking the devils. Everything was ready, after all.

"The Ebonveil system, right? Well, we actually followed you because it seemed you were about to interfere with our plans. However, judging by your strength, perhaps we could work together. What do you think?"

The commander dismissed the sword from their hand. At this point, it was clear. Neither side wanted a direct confrontation.

The Diaphanes were not destructive beings, and Jeremy acknowledged their strength.

Of course, with Azure by his side, he was certain he would not be defeated.

But victory would be hard-won.

Instead, if he waited to reach Stellar Rank, wiping out the Diaphanes would be brutally simple.

Jeremy was someone who had always fought and triumphed over stronger foes. His potential was undeniable, his power even more so.

Jeremy fixed his gaze on Zyr-Vaelis, the Diaphane commander, with gleaming eyes.

An alliance?

It was not his style. However...

The power of a Nova Rank was not something to ignore. Not yet, at least. With a sharp smile, he tilted his head. "Speak, Zyr-Vaelis. What’s your plan against the Ebonveil?"

Zyr-Vaelis, whose body was humanoid but devoid of distinct features, began to shift, revealing a fluid face, like liquid crystal capable of reflecting colors.

"From what we know, the Ebonveil system is fairly isolated. The devils of this clan play dirty, using their darkness-based powers to harass other major clans.

I know what you’re thinking. If they’re as troublesome as they say, why have not they been destroyed yet? Simple." Their gaze sharpened as they lowered their voice, as if afraid of being overheard.

"Their Clan Leader. One of the most powerful Eclipse Ranks.

Though their clan ranks tenth among the strongest, the same cannot be said for their leader. No one knows their face or their true power; only that no one wants them as an enemy.

So why must we face this clan? Well, it’s not our job to fight their leader in the first place. We, along with other teams, need only destroy the Nexus."

A heavy silence fell over the area.

Then, a laugh broke the tension.

"Destroy the Nexus?" Cambela’s voice drew attention to her, her eyes flashing with a mix of disbelief and defiance as she tossed her dark hair back.

"Do you even know what the Nexus is? How do you plan to destroy it? Besides being at the heart of the Ebonveil system, the Nexus is a teleportation system that connects the clan to all parts of the galaxy."

Cambela took a breath before continuing.

"I understand the plan’s intent—to cut off potential reinforcements from other clans—but it’s a crazy idea. The moment you’re spotted, the entire Ebonveil clan will march against you. Destroying their Nexus in secret is impossible, let alone while being pursued by everyone..."

"...I say it’s a mad plan." Cambela concluded, staring fearlessly at Commander Zyr-Vaelis.
