Chapter 111: Chapter 106: Not Bad, But Not as Pretty as Your Mom! (Second Update)

Little Raindrop laughed, "My dad’s not that scary. Look at you, totally spooked."

"Rain Sis, lucky I have a strong heart. If it were someone else, they’d be so scared they’d wet their pants." Yi Luowa pointed at her own legs. "See? They’ve been shaking this whole time."

Little Raindrop saw her exaggerating by shaking her legs and playfully slapped her, "You! Put Duoduo on the bed. I’ll put him to sleep, and you can take a breather."

Yi Luowa placed Duoduo on the bed, pouting and saying, "Duoduo, look how pitiful your aunt is, boo hoo..."

"Haha..." Duoduo laughed aloud when he saw her fake crying.

Little Raindrop said sentimentally, "Our family really needs someone like you. Otherwise, just Mom, Dad, Grandpa, and Grandma at home—it’d be way too lonely."

"Hehehe..." Yi Luowa chuckled.

In the living room, Long Che saw Yi Luowa leave and shifted to a more relaxed sitting position. He turned to ask Tong Airui, "How are the arrangements on the etiquette team side?"

"Looking good; they won’t let the Xiawu family lose face." Tong Airui smiled and nodded toward the nursery. "Dad, satisfied?"

Long Che curled his lips slightly, "It’s alright, but not as beautiful as your mom!"

The people in the living room burst into laughter.

Tong Yao slapped his thigh with a laugh, "Getting older, still so unserious! That Luo-wa kid’s one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen."

"She’s the prettiest? Then what about Little Raindrop and Ni’er in our family?" Long Che asked in discontent.

"Second and third place!" Yan Zi chimed in with a laugh, "If you’d been this easygoing earlier, would Rui’er have sent that kid off? Honestly, I haven’t seen enough of her yet! Rui’er acted fast; otherwise, I was planning to trick her into being a daughter-in-law for our family!"

"I heard Xixi’s interested, too?" Tong Yao looked at Yan Zi.

Yan Zi nodded, "She even wanted me to be a matchmaker for Kaikai."

"Aino!" Long Che instantly became displeased and called out to Tong Aino, who had just returned to the living room, "Call your uncle again and tell him not to bring your Aunt Xixi over!"

Tong Aino looked at his mother. Tong Yao glared at Long Che and said to her son, "Don’t listen to your dad!"

Tong Aino chuckled lightly and sat down next to Tong Airui, "Lucky guy, snagged something in high demand—better hold on tight!"

"Shut up!" Tong Airui glared at him.

Tong Aino spread his hands, putting on an innocent look.

"You all chat for a bit; I have a few words to say with Lady Tong Yao." Long Che got up and helped Tong Yao to her feet.

Tong Yao slapped his hand, "What are you doing?"

"Just five minutes," Long Che said as he half-dragged her toward the study.

As they passed the nursery, they heard Yi Luowa and Little Raindrop’s laughter and chatter coming from inside.

Long Che raised an eyebrow slightly and asked softly, "That girl seems to get along pretty well with everyone in our family?"

"Definitely better than you!" Tong Yao laughed.

"Just wait till tonight," Long Che gave her a sinister look, then pushed the door to the study open, pulling Tong Yao inside.

"Why did you drag me in here?" Tong Yao looked at him unhappily.

"To teach you a lesson! Let’s see if you dare to play the no-signal trick on me again!"

"I really didn’t have signal!" Tong Yao looked innocent, but seeing Long Che still giving her that sinister look, she raised her hand to rub his cheek. "What do you think of our daughter-in-law? Let me tell you, this kid may look young, but she’s quite mature."

"She doesn’t seem very tall?" Long Che pulled her hand down and held it tightly.

"That girl in flats isn’t much shorter than me—she’s almost 1.7 meters tall. You think everyone grows as tall as you four giants in this family?" Tong Yao pouted discontentedly, "You’re not allowed to say bad things about my daughter-in-law. I liked her the moment I saw her."

"You haven’t even interacted with her much, and you already like her this much?" Long Che raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Then tell me—what about her do you dislike? You’re not allowed to bring height into it!" Tong Yao warned him with a look.

"Too pretty. Does that count as a flaw?" Long Che asked with a smile.

"What’s wrong with you? How is being pretty a flaw?" Tong Yao huffed and shook off his hand.

"If she’s prettier than my wife and daughter, then it’s not okay!"

"You old pervert!" Tong Yao pinched his waist.

"If you twist it off, how will I enjoy myself tonight?" Long Che held her hand tightly. "I’ll leave it up for discussion; let’s wait until we find her biological parents."

Tong Yao’s eyes widened immediately, "No way! Our son’s almost twenty-five! If we take a year or two to find them, when am I ever going to have a granddaughter?"

"So you’re forcing me to agree?" Long Che gazed down at her.

"Who cares about forcing you? Ni’er’s marriage can be your decision, but I’ll make the final call for my two sons’ marriages. Look at Rui’er’s expression; you can tell how much he likes Luowa. Don’t be a bad guy when you can just be a good one!"

"Our conversation ends here. Tonight, we’ll continue this discussion. Call Airui in for me; that kid’s been making too many moves lately—he’s even alerted Muta." Long Che pinched her cheek and, with a laugh, said, "Tonight, we’ll go deeper into... discussing!"

Tong Yao pouted, "You old scoundrel! Already a grandpa and still so lecherous! Luckily, my two sons didn’t inherit that from you!"

Long Che chuckled, "You better not speak too soon. Whether they inherited it, you’ll have to ask their wives to find out."

Tong Yao gave him a disdainful look, "I’ll go call Rui’er in. Don’t you dare shout at him, you hear me?"
