I’m sorry!! I’m so sorry!!" The female apologized with fear in her eyes as she stole a glance at Titan then bowed to hide her eyes.

Titan...it’s really you!!" The blue haired male was in utter disbelief as he sized down Titan. He was clearly older than Titan but the boy was without a word stronger than him. Even his physique was changed and he was no longer the thin, frail and sickly Titan from years ago.

At the left most part of the cave sat a withered old man with tattered clothes and cobwebs all over his body. Dust had accumulated on him over the years but had had never attempted to move a muscle.

Hello Old friend!" Zery spoke and the stone like man moved a little. I must say I admire your resilience!" Zery said as he lazily strolled around the place. However, he couldn’t move closer than twenty feet to where the man sat.

"What brings you here?" The hoarse and dry voice broke from the man’s chapped lips.

Is that a question?! We’ve been doing this for a while now and I don’t think formalities should exist between us." Zery laughed and walked over. His pale white hair fell over his shoulders as he leaned forward. "We are both prisoners of the other." He laughed but his expression was cold.

"Don’t want to." Zery replied and found a wall to lean on. "So, tell me. How’s my brother been doing these past few years?" he asked.

"He’s alive." the other party answered since he had no other choice.

"Well, if you hadn’t been stingy and just gave your power to me, you wouldn’t be in this state right now. You’d be free....like everyone I’ve trapped inside this ice wall!" Zery gestured for all those in the ice wall.

"Yes." The old man sighed. He lied. She had come to the beast world and he had done all he could to send her back but it was too late. She was mated already. He felt bad! Really bad! If only he had the reigns of fate in his hands, the. he’d surely keep Sydney and Ash away from Zery’s path but alas! He had time and could manipulate it to his liking but so what? He was still a puppet to another.
