Chapter 84: Reprimanded

The first day went by and Sydney didn’t wake up. Her swollen body had slowly gotten better by evening but the terrible marks still glared no matter how much soothing cream was applied.

Scott sat on the bed besides his sister and looked at her small face. You little idiot! he couldn’t help cursing at her. What she had done was extremely stupid of her and he couldn’t wait to reprimand her as soon as she opened her eyes. How dare she invite five men to have sex with her!?

He let out a deep sigh and observed the five glaring beast marks on her body. A snake tattoo like latter wrapped around her neck like it was strangling her. A black panther was sitting elegantly below her collar bone with its clear green eyes. If he hadn’t been present, he’d have thought it was some form of tattoo manship which was extremely eye catching and alive.

An eagle tattoo marking was on the top of her bossom and the two wolves sat on either of her forehands. The figures kept twisting in their places like they were alive.

He hadn’t let any of them into the room after slaving off Shawn and throwing him out of the place. He kept her company for the whole day and had his minions the lion brothers bringing in his food and Sydney’s share too.

Outside the room, Titan sat on the ground and leaned against the wall. He did not even have the appetite to hunt, much less eat. All he wanted right now was to be with his Mate! But he had been forbidden!

He tried to use his bond marking on her but she wasn’t responding, probably because she hadn’t woken up to acknowledge the bonds.

It was the rule. While they might have officially mated, at this point, it was the most delicate moment where many of the beastmen became Strays. Because of excitement during mating, many males didn’t give regard to their females and went overboard with their actions. In turn, some females would wake up with nightmare experiences of mating and they usually refused to acknowledge the bonds. The females couldn’t at times he blamed as their chosen males would torment them.

It was the same case for them. They were glad to have learnt things from Scott but they had gone overboard. Now they feared what would become of them. With their hearts hunging in their throats, they waited for the whole day and night but Sydney didn’t wake up.

Caden walked over to the door and knocked but didn’t receive and answer. He opened the door nonetheless and saw Scott looking at the door with a murderous glint in his eyes. "Sydney isn’t waking up! Should we call the witch master to check on her?" he asked.

"What can he possibly do that I can’t?" Scott asked. At the age of 30 years, he had learnt all there to medicine that he required to survive. He was a doctor in the military after all.

Caden shut up and shit the door closed. He looked at the others outside and they knew there was no hope. They had to wait.

The next morning came and Sydney rose with the sun. With a parched throat, she groaned and turned in her bed. It was like she had been run over by tractors. She couldn’t feel her lower body well. Her eyes were still heavy but thanks to the light that wasn’t too bright. She could hare with it.

Her groan woke up Scott who jumped to his feet with wide eyes.

The door was also thrown open by five big men trying to squeeze their way in. Sydney was finally awake!!!

What are you lot doing inside here?" Scott growled stopping them in their tracks. Sydney who managed to clear her blurry mind looked at her brother then to the door. Her eyes went wide open!

What is he doing here???? she wanted to scream but dared not to! She stole a glance at his stone hard face and knew she was done for! He had found out! She wanted to run away. It wasn’t late right?! Right!

She attempted to drag her body away but his cold and stern voice froze her. "Don’t think I don’t know what you are thinking! Move an inch and I’ll let you have the best of me!" he threatened with a low voice.

I’m sorry brother!" Sydney apologised.

"Sorry?! He looked at her with sheer disdain.

"Yes...I was tempted." Sydney shamelessly shifted the blame. If she was to chose between facing her brother and her mates, she’d choose to face her mates. She’d leave them to Scott’s wrath. The man was a psychopath!!!

She dragged her body one more time. Where do you think you are going?" he asked.

I want to pee!" Sydney cried. she needed to escape.

You are under house arrest! don’t even dream about it!" He looked at Shawn. Go get a stone basin and also ensure to help her. The rest of you, follow me out!" Scott walked out of the room. No matter how shameless he was, he couldn’t stay around and watch her pee.

Shawn nodded and went to get the stone basin.

Ken frowned wanting to be the one to help her but he wasn’t as lucky! He, with a very bitter expression followed after Scott to the sitting room.

A cave far far away from the city of beasts or any tribe settlement, a white creature on his four limbs walking majestically emerged from the darkness of the the cave. Along with him came a small group of other creatures different from the first in all aspects. The group that followed excuded a very strong stench that would send any beastman into a drowsy state.

"Ah....it’s good to be home!" The white creature spoke as he made his way forward. He seemed to be in a really good mood. "I wonder how my dear brother is doing as of late!?"
