Chapter 60: Chapter 58 Daring Falcon king

What’s this?!" The leopard king was the first to ask. Clearly, his eyes weren’t playing games on him right?!

"The female... she’s alive and okay!" someone from the big crowd spike in astonishment.

"Yeah!" another chimmed in.

"Falcon king...mind explaining this?! You clearly said that your clansmen were the one responsible for inviting the snake lord into the city but this right now is giving us a different picture." The lion king spoke up drawing everyone’s attention to the Falcon king.

"What’s going on?!" Sydney asked as she looked at her men.

Titan withdrew his poison and carried Sydney to sit on his forearm. She almost yelped but held herself back. She looked at him with wide eyes.

Ash stepped forward and looked at the crowd of beastmen. No one could meet his eyes and all looked down in shame except for Falcon king who was too stunned to realise his surroundings. Ash shook his head at the beastmen and walked over to the exit, he didn’t bother with any of them and made his way through the vast crowd. Once out of it, he shifted into his beast and went north to visit his cave.

"Please laugh some more! You face looks better that way." Carlos taunted the Falcon king and made his way back home after stealing a glance at Sydney.

"Did you really invite the Snake beast here or you were riding on others glory?!" The fox king laughed.

"Snake Lord! My clansmen came to you and invited you over right??" The Falcon king wasn’t having any of it! He had gone through alot and had been boasting among the other kings. Some had even allowed his clansmen to mate with their females.

"What do you mean?" Sydney asked her green orbs shimmering with curiosity. Everything was going on but she had yet to make the head and tail out of it.

"Stay out of this female!" Falcon king snapped agitatedly.

Sydney backed off into Titan’s arms with a frown.

His harsh rebuke was answered with ferociousness that made him sink his neck in.

"You don’t talk to my Female like that!" Caden spoke and immediately shifted letting out an ear tingling screech! This was to end in a battle!

"Caden calm down!" Sydney spoke and Caden looked her way but his body was tense. She looked at Ken and Shawn and they too had shifted into their wolf forms snarling and growling with hostility.

These guys really!!! She looked at Titan and he was no different. He wasn’t showing his agitation like the others but it felt like being in the hands of Lucifer at the moment.

Hey...clam down all of you, will you!?" she scolded and all her men looked at her. She ignored them and looked at the Falcon king and sighed. "Look sir, I might not know what issues you have with my family but if you are going to wreck havoc so early in the morning in others homes, then I suggest you look for some weak persons to bully but that won’t happen with me. I say, bring back your people away from my home and I’ll let this matter pass." Her voice was neither loud nor angry but it held the dominance of a leader and her small face was stoic and unfeeling.

"I’ll do that but I have a question for you!" Falcon king mended his voice but his arrogance and anger could still be heard. "Was this some kind of plot with your mates? To snatch my glory from me?" he asked barely holding back himself. What other explanation was there?! They might have learnt of his plans and offered the snake beastman a place in their home and surely with a female’s invitation, no male would be brave enough to refuse.

Sydney let out a cold laugh. "I didn’t know I was so lame to snatch others glory so shamelessly." Sydney sneered. "If you feel it’s unfair to you....try snatching your glory back." she smirked. She had no idea what dealings Titan had with that beastman but all she knew that he had followed her back on his own accord and she had allowed him to stay because she wanted him to.

Falcon king scowled and looked at Titan. "Snake lord...I’m the Falcon king and have held great admiration in your abilities and hoped you’d become the lord of the city of beasts. My clan and half of the remaining clans are in support of you becoming the city lord! Please consider our request! With that, alot more things shall belong to you and you won’t have to share a female with any male you don’t approve of as we shall give you the best female in the beast Continent." Falcon king’s didn’t hold back and said all he had to. He was livid as he was forced to make his offer in broad daylight but he also had hope of crashing his enemies to the ground.

Listening to him speak, Sydney was left speechless. Seems greed was in every creatures DNA.

"You bothered my female’s rest for silly demands! How do you plan to compensate her for it?" Titan had a black expression after listening to the Falcon king. He turned to Shawn who was in his beast form and sat Sydney on Shawn’s back.

He shifted his lower body into his beast form. It filled the whole court yard and made all beasts let out gasps of horror. Sydney had also not gotten to see Titan in his beast form or half beast form and was shocked. No wonder her swing broke! With such a body and weight...how wouldn’t it break?! But far off from that, Titan was rich! With all that gold.....he clearly had rich men vibes. She loved it!

His golden snake body slithered around in the courtyard while his upper body stood high up that one had to crane their necks to meet his slit eyes as he looked down at the group menacingly. He really wanted to rip these intruders apart but recalled Ken’s advice. ’You can’t kill Infront of Sydney.’ and with that he held back his instincts for had he shifted into his full beast form, all these beastmen were as good as one meal for him!
