"Be careful Titan! My swing!" Sydney let out a cry of concern and immediately, Titan stopped slithering around as his eyes widened seeing his tail curiously poking at the swing. "Seriously this..." he was full of frustration. He shot an angry look at the group that still remained outside his home and frowned. Leave while you still can!" he let them off and shifted his attention back to Sydney.
She had jumped off Shawn’s back and was trying to manuver her way past his snake tail but before she could get lucky, his tail had already recognised her and it’s attention was off the swing and now on her.
Sydney halted into a stone statue and her voice got stuck in her throat as she observed the snake tail with wide eyes. Like one with a mind of its own, the snake tail also froze. Titan almost spluttered with laughter.
’This has got to be my illusion right!?’ Sydney thought and proceeded to test her assumption. She shifted to the right and so did the snake tail, she shifted to the left and so did the tail. If not for the blunt point on the rail, she would have concluded that Titan wanted to posion her to death.
The tail however had a different colour to it. It seemed like a midnight black shade but it could be any colour...she really couldn’t guess. "Why does your tail keept following me?" she finally asked looking at Titan who had a helpless expression on his face.
He slithered over to her side halted before her. "My tail is like a beastman of its own. I also don’t know much about why it’s like this since I never took time to find out." he said as he gently tapped on his tail. The scales around his tail rattled as if warning him off. Seeing this interaction, it was really entertaining.
"Oh..I plan to make an antidote for you. Don’t go to play before you get it." he reminded her and shifted back to his human form.
"Antidote? For what? Was I poisoned?!" Sydney looked petrified.
"No..no, you weren’t poisoned. I just thought it’d be comfortable for you to touch me without worrying about being posioned." Titan smiled He had realised she loved being touchy. He wanted her to be immune to posion but without mating...alot of risks surrounded them. The most potent antidote was the one at his tail but he could onlt share it with his female whilst they mate.
The second best option was making his body produce the antidote from his venom. Those came out like small pearls. He had made many in the last decades but he ended up eating all of them because he had no one to give them to.
"Who..who wants to touch you!!? Stop being so... arrogant!" Sydney flushed red when she heard his words. Yes she was a little touchy feely but he didn’t have to throw it at her face in broad daylight! It was embarrassing, okay!
"Okay..you don’t want to touch me so I won’t say it anymore. But I’ll still make the antidote alright?" he tilted his head to the side and Sydney shot him a skeptical look like he couldn’t be trusted.
"You know you can trust me!" he ruffled her hair and smiled. "Come with me, you haven’t combed your hair. You look beautifully unruly!" he honestly praised.
They went back in the house and the bath and breakfast were all ready. She first washed up and noticed that her cycle was almost cleared off! "Now I wont have to walk around like I planted stones in my underwear!" she laughed happily seeing the remnants of blood. While the cotton was convenient, it was utterly uncomfortable if one wasn’t used to stuffing it in like that! There was also worry of it falling through the skin knickers so she was careful.
She had already had her episode of shame while they were still in the forest. The blood stained thing just had to fall out while she was playing. It wasn’t like she was vigorous or extreme about it but the looks she got from all these men....only God knew how she dreamed of the ability to dig a ditch and bury herself.
Sydney walked out of the bedroom and Shawn immediately walked in to take the basin out along with the skin hides she had been wearing.
In the sitting room.
While Caden fed her dutifully, Sydney concentrated on watching Titan formulate the poison. He plucked off a scale from his arm and brought it over to his mouth. The scale was had the growth of a female’s finger. He sunk his fang into the scale turning it from golden to pale yellow. He injected more venom and it further dissolved into a crystal clear liquid.
The scale was now like a little bottle that held the translucent liquid.
"Is it done?" Sydney asked impatiently. The scales were poisonous and so was the venom from his fangs. So was he actually making an antidote or a mega poison?? She really wanted to ask but chose to trust his words after all, it wouldn’t be her that would turn out as the guinea pig.
"Why do I feel so unsafe??" Ken mumbled as he rubbed the goosebumps off his arms.
"It is." Titan replied and shook his snake scale a bit. The translucent liquid begin turning blue after a few rounds of shaking. He looked at Sydney and smiled them shifted his gaze to Ken. "We can’t be to reckless since it concerns theife of our female. Please be the first to taste the antidote. I’ve only used it on me so far.." Titan passed his snake scale to Ken with a spooky smile.
Ken wanted to snap but a glare from Titan had him swallow his complaints. He looked at the palm sized scale and rethought his life decisions for a while. "You mixed posion with poison...and you expect me to try it out? If you are trying to kill me, no need to be sneaky about it!" Ken wasn’t pleased.
"Then I’ll try it myself!" Sydney reached out for the small scale but Ken was faster! He snatched it from Titan’s hand and gritted his teeth.
I’m going this far for you Sydney....you should grant me a wish!" Ken bargained.
"I never asked you to." Sydney huffed.
"Ha! So heartless!" Ken scoffed and emptied the scale of its substances. He gulped it all down but felt no difference from before.
"Do you feel like dying?!" Sydney asked. She had been waiting for some form of dramatic effect but all seemed well.
Caden laughed gently at her weird question. He was also expecting some over the place drama from Ken but he seemed very fine.
Titan was pleased to see that there was no violent reaction. He continued the process and handed Caden and Shawn the same looking scale with the two poisons combined.
"Why are you including us in this process?" Caden asked as he swallowed up the ’antidote’
"I’m poison treating you. Once you consume my poison and it doesn’t react on you, it means no other poisonous creature can bring harm to you...not even me." Titan explained and Caden was surprised. This beast was so generous!
Then what of Sydney?" Shawn inquired.
"I’ll need the blue pearl like orbs that are going to be produced by your bodies. Those are what Sydney will have since I can’t possibly poison treat her like I do to you." Titan said seriously and the three men nodded in understanding.
