Chapter 150: I’ll become you.

Ray’s word’s made Ash and Shawn worry for their other comrades. They imagined had they also not been lucky to mate with Sydney a second time, what kind of pives would they be living right now?

It was hair raising even merely thinking about it!

Someone was behind a shrub and had not been noticed by the three deeply engrossed men.

The silhouette of that person immediately flashed back.

The car they had encountered was luckily large, the size of a condominium unit and its inner surface was of a black stone. Stones of this colour were all over the place but that didn’t mean there weren’t the extremely valuable types of stones.

Ray and the others had no idea about it but Sydney felt this black stone was something extremely important.

Tracing her fingers on the surface inspecting incase she found anything. She continued further and further into the cave but unfortunately, despite her scrutinising eyes, she was unable to notice the unique attributes of the black stone.

What’s wrong?" Shawn who was there to call her out to eat asked seeing her serious expression.

Nothing." Sydney smiled and followed him out to eat. She had been riding for approximately three days and hadn’t gotten a chance to have a proper meal. Hence, she was famished beyond words.

By the time she was out of the cave, a fire had been lit and a huge prey was being roasted. She couldn’t tell what meat it was but that was the least of her concerns because an aromatic scent was already wafting over.

Shawn walked her to her seat and offered her a bowl of nicely chopped roast meat with a few cabbage rolls.

Ray had been lucky to encounter them and only managed to pluck them after letting Shawn and Ash test for posion. They had been lucky to gain antidote from Titan, it was a great deal as Titan’s antidote was able to combat almost all forms of poison. Of course, after trying it, Ray also had to try and only brought it back after confirming it was safe.

Thank you." She smiled and took her bowl before taking hungry bite off her food. The others also tore off chunks of meat one after the other even though the meat at some parts was half cooked. They didn’t mind!

Sydney actually managed to rake down four bowls of food!!!

Her mate’s hearts broke! She had been enduring alot!!!

Do you still want some more?" Ray was the one to take the initiative to ask.

No..no, my stomach it already full beyond words. I can’t eat anymore." Sydney shook her head. When one was hungry, it was always that they thought once they got something to eat, they’d be able to eat a whole hippo but only after a few mouthfuls would one understand that hunger was only a game of nature!

After the meal, Ash cleaned up the place and moved the firewood into the cave while Ken and Ray scouted the area they were in, this time taking caution even to the tiniest detail as they couldn’t be as careless as before. Ken’s paw was also a whole lot better though it hadn’t completely healed. This was after all, a strain to very important muscles in his paw joint.

They went around the perimeter four times before confirming that the place was secure which was also weird! But this was their good luck! They would take time to check the place out better once they were in a better condition and find out its mystery.

Ken walked besides Ray with a very complicated expression. He looked at the other and didn’t know where to begin. Of course, he was curious but didn’t know what Ray’s reaction would be, after all, Ray was a strong male, even without his beast.

There was no way Ken didn’t feel fear for him, coupled with respect.

Ray also notithe look he was receiving from Ken but he could not pry his brain to see what his concerns were and hence chose to let him be.

They safely returned to the cave.

Sydney after having her fill lay on the grass nest her eyes locked on the cave ceiling.

What are you in deep thoughts for?" Ash walked over and lay just besides her.

Sydney didn’t answer as her eyes locked on the cave wall. Ash frowned but also looked at the ceiling in deep thought but even after pondering about it for so long, there was nothing that he could make out of it.

Sydney’s eyes later on free heavy since she was just down with a meal, of course, sleeping would follow in that line.

Sydney woke up to the chripping of birds and a warm spring breeze. Her heart thumped gently enjoying the tranquility she was bathed in. After letting the drowsiness leave her, Sydney pushed herself from the bed and pit on her shoes before going out of the abode. She stretched her arms and let out a yawn before flipping her red hairs behind her and looking around for a source of water.

Remembering the path, she walked over in a carefree manner.

However, when she arrived at the stream with clear pure waters, glistening against the morning sun, she saw someone was already there before her.

She frowned a little and walked over to see who this person was.

The other party used her petite hands to wash her legs softly and tenderly, she clearly treasured her own self preciously.

You are late." The female said upon Sydney’s arrival. Sydney wasn’t surprised as she hadn’t been trying to sneak up on that person.

Who are you?" She asked.

The female laughed and stood up from the stream bed, she turned around and smiled at Sydney. "You’ve really forgotten." The woman said with a sad smile on her face, of course, her eyes flickered with disappointment.

Sydney forgot to breathe as she looked at the person before her. If she didn’t know any better, she’d think she was looking in the mirror at the moment but even she would find it hard to believe since both of them had different attires covering their bodies and the other person didn’t have red hair like her. Hers was a midnight black.

Sydney stumbled back on her feet but luckily didn’t fall, her eyes blinked over and over again in case she was hallucinating but it was the naked reality before her.

Her brows creased remembering she was in a black walked cave...how was she in this place all of a sudden. She turned around to observe her surroundings in alarm only for her eyes to fall on Ash and Shawn...those two familiar faces gave her a sense of relief but not long before she could get to consolidate her relief, Ray’s silhouette came into her line of view.

This Ray was however different! He had a tail and black fur ears twitching ontop of his head. He had a boyish grin playing on his lips as he flee, seemingly, he had done something extremely mischevious.

Right after his silhouette flashed past, five unfamiliar but familiar males ran over raging as they chased after Ray. They kept cursing heavy words that’d definitely make one’s ears bleed.

The female who had been by the stream walked over and stood right behind Sydney observing the scene together with her.

What’s going on?" Sydney asked her frown deepening, she bit her lower lip feeling foreign emotions powering into her body.

It’s useless to tell you about it. You’ll forget it after all!" The female said and walked over to where Ash and Shawn were.

Sydney wanted to rush over and not let that female touch her sweethearts but was stopped by a manically laughing Ray who was using her body as a shield against the other five males.

Help me!!! He pleaded not guilty at all and also he clearly wasn’t scared.

Why are you fighting again?" Sydney found herself asking. She was so surprised but the voice seemed to have come from deep within her.

We need justice!!!!"

Yes! Let us beat him just this one! If we don’t, I’ll surely die from anger."

Who asked you to be so stupid? Huh?" Ray asked.

He’s all yours." Sydney side stepped Ray leaving him to death.

Huh? Ray was stupified before the gears of his brain charged as she speed off like a bullet.

Sydney laughed at their silly banter and turned to look at the woman who looked like her. This time round, Titan, Ken and Caden were also standing there, surrounding her and pampering her like mad, their eyes filled with only love and passion for her.

Keep forgetting. The female said and her graceful face morphed into a completely different appearance. Her eyes were wide and red, and there was no nose on her face. "Keep forgetting!" She chanted repeatedly.

Sydney’s heart was already ramming dangerously within her and a sense of dread begun to fill her but before she could get the chance to charge forward, her vision blurred.

However, she didn’t miss on the sight of the female sucking out the spirit form of Titan who was looking at her with love, not the least worried about his life that was slipping away....

No....no....no!!!! Sydney shook her head, trying to shout out to bring Titan’s mind back but her voice failed her as it was only her subconscious mind’s plea. It couldn’t be able to reach Titan whose whole beast form was out of his body and all that was left of him was a pale thin male who had lost his luster and might.

"Hehehehe....." the female laughed innocently. "Keep forgetting....That way....I’ll become you and have all that’s yours!!!!"
