Titan looked at Ray in the eyes. Both answers didn’t seem honest but we’re honest. He felt it from within!

"What do you mean you have no beast?" Titan asked.

"I already answered your questions." Ray said and carried the bloodied bucket on his shoulder. He walked back but did not immediately head home, he went to fetch water.

Titan didn’t follow after him again and only returned home. Sydney wasn’t there but Ash, Caden and Ken were.

"Sydney went to meet her friends. Shawn is with her too." Ash informed Titan who nodded in understanding. He looked at Ash. "He refused to divulge much about himself. He only said he has no beast and knows Sydney from a long time."

"Scott also said that he doesn’t know him." I asked after sensing that Ray was a bit odd.

"Should we keep an eye on him?’ Caden asked. He could ask his clansmen to spy from above.

"He’s very smart! He’ll for sure know we are keeping an eye on him which might make him hold back on his plans." Ash noted.

"Then what should we do?" Ken asked.

"Tighten Sydney’s protection. If he is after Sydney, we will surely know and it’s not wrong to put surveillance on our mate." Titan suggested.

Oh...Shawn seems to know this male. No wonder he slipped from us the moment he could. Once he comes back, he’ll answer!" Ken blutered and all the others seemed to remember.

Ray had indeed provoked Shawn to reveal himself before the group but Shawn was against it.

Caden. please go and keep Sydney company! Get Shawn to return home as soon as possible." Ash instructed.

Caden nodded and went out. He immediately shifted into his beast form and soares into the sky letting out a screech.

The others remained at home with solemn looks.

Ray reached the lake and looked at it with familiarity. It only made sense now that they had travelled back in time. This lake was bloody red the last time he saw it and the city that he walked through was in ruins!

He sighed and leaned over to look at his reflection in the water. He hadn’t changed that much!

He thought of something and stood up tskinng off his skin skirt. He neatly folded it and placed it on the side before he skilfully diced into the lake. There used to be fat fishes in here!

As the last trace of him disappeared into the lake, a large group of beasts surrounded it. They were filled with animosity towards him! Their fathers, kings and cheifs had been killed by this male! He was going to pay the price with his life!

Ray battled with the biggest fish in the lake till he successfully subdued it! He was as a proud as a peacock!

But when he came to the surface of the lake, he saw that a large group of beastmen had surrounded the lake. He sighed tiredly.

"Look, even if you drag the whole city here, none of you would be able to beat me!I advise you to return home amd not let yourselves die." He said as a matter of fact.

The falcon king’s son was enraged and almost jumped into the lake. Too had, he couldn’t swim!

"All you can do is brag!" He spat! "The only reason you succeeded was because you caught all of them off guard! But you won’t be so lucky anymore! You not only killed my mother but my father too! I’ll revenge them! And don’t think we don’t know! You don’t have a beast! An incomplete fool like you dares to threaten us - an army!"

"Okay." Ray said nonchalantly. "I guess I had to go on a killing spree anyway!" he shrugged and looked at the fish he had just hunted. ’Good thing I didn’t kill you.’ he thought. ’Now be good and wait for me to deal with them. Sydney likes fish!’

Ray let his hunt for, for the meantime, and swam ashore. Once he was out of the water, he flexed his muscles not bothering about being naked. It was normal!

His blue eyes scanned through the group of cubs and chicks and he felt bitter. "You know what? Go home, okay?! Your parents have paid the price for you but you still have lives to live and be with your mates’. If you wish to die, come at me but if you believe you still have a purpose to life, them walk away and I won’t bother you." He really didn’t want to hurt these little ones. They were just as old as their children Sydney had left in his care.

"Don’t let him fool you with his words! We can take him down!" The falcon prince ordered.

The others were a little skeptical. They looked amongst themselves.

Ray heard a swoosh sound behind him and he turned around with agility. An alligator the size of a bus had charged a sneak attack from under the water towards him.

Ray leaped from the ground like he had wings and met the alligator midair, he clasped the beasts forearm and had his other hand on the beasts head. By the time they hot the ground, the alligator had lost its forearm and it’s teeth had been smashed into small pieces as Ray pressed it’s head into the ground leaving a dent.

He was kneeling on one knee, he looked up from the beast and looked at the group before him. Without breaking eye contact with the pale young beasts before him, he grabbed the alligators upper jaw amd used his leg to press on the lower jaw. "Don’t test me!" he warned.

Without further questions, he ripped the alligator into two halves. His eyes were ad dark as the deep blue sea when he killed. Blood splattered all over his naked body.

Some of the beasts had already flee from the place.

The falcon prince was too scared to move, much less trust his back to this scary beastman! He trembled from his place like his father.

If you don’t want the whole of your clan to go extinct like the Panther clan, stay away from my sight! You remind me alot of your father and i don’t know what I’ll do if I’m unhappy." Ray said and walked to where he had placed his basin. He had cleaning to do!

The reason he did not kill this little prince was because he was a coward, thorough and thorough. A simple threat and he’d be shaking like a leaf!

He was angry at the blood that covered his body. With no choice, he went to the water to bathe and also get his fish back.

He filled the big bucket with water and carried it on one shoulder while the fish who had no other destiny hang on the other shoulder. Ray happily walked back home!

When Ray got home, there was no body! He smiled and happily got himself busy with cleaning and cooking lunch!

Shawn was cornered by the others. He looked at all of them. "What?" He asked.

"You see that! I told you! We just have to beat him up and then get the answers?" Ken gritted his teeth.

"You know Ray, right." That wasn’t a question but statement. Titan looked into Shawn’s eyes.

Shawn looked at the group and his eyes locked on Ash.

"He’s not going to save you! Spit it out!" Ken looked for a stick to thrash Shawn.

"None of you will believe me and this matter is best left unprobed. If I’m to tell you, the Sydney must also be present as it concerns her and not you." Shawn said honestly. More than these guys, Sydney was the one who deserved to know.

"Do I know him?" Ash asked. He had a sense of familiarity with Ray but he wasn’t sure from where.

Everyone looked at Shawn.

He nodded. Of course he did! that was his friend.

Now all eyes were on Ash. He tried to remember who Ray was but his head hurt to the point that he staggered on his feet. Titan helped stablize him.

He already had a feeling that this matter was big but it seemed even bigger! He silently watched them.

Caden and Ken didn’t know how to feel.

"How close is Ray to Sydney?" Caden asked.

"Very close but she too doesn’t remember like Ash." Shawn answered.

"Why do your remember but they don’t?" Ken asked this time round.

"I also had no recollection of it. I just remembered when I got my vision." Shawn was honest.

By the time they got home, Ray had finished cleaning around the house and a piping hot meal was on the dinning table.

Shawn sighed and went to help.

"I’ll go get Sydney back home for lunch." Ash said and went to find her at the school!

Sia and a few other females had gone to find Sydney. They also wanted to enroll their cubs at this school.

Many of those initially skin and weak abandoned cubs had transformed in such a short period that many were stunned.
