Chapter 106: Being Sneaky, Confrontation from Falcon king.

"And for a moment I thought you wouldn’t stop until she drops dead!" A voice brought Titan back to his senses.

He looked at his cave entrance where the voice came from with a deep frown on his face. He lost count on the number of times he mated with Sydney but from the look outside, it was already dark. He wasn’t worried about the others coming to look for him as he had already informed them that he’d be staying with Sydney to calm her down.

This person here was familiar to him!

However, he didn’t pay heed to that person and finished cleaning up the sleeping Sydney. He then took out his skin hide that was soft and wrapped her up then set her back on the bear skin on the ground.

He picked another hide ajd begun to pack all the things Sydney had initially collected.

"What! You are ignoring me?" The person asked coldly.

Titan didn’t pay heed.

But despite the other party’s anger, he didn’t dare cross the threshold of Titan’s territory. He sneered and waited patiently outside.

Titan took his time to gather everything he needed and proceeded to carry Sydney from the ground and into his arms. He shifted his lower body into his snake body and let their luggage sit on his snake tail as his hands were occupied with carrying his sleeping mate.

He slithered out of the cave and behold. A snake beastman stood outside his cave with a scrunched up look.

What do you want?!" Titan asked coldly.

The male tried to peep at the bundle in Titan’s hands but one hiss left his skull numb and he retreated a few steps away. "I came because I heard from Second that you got a female! I wanted to see how she looked like!" he said with hands raised in surrender.

"Now that you know. Leave! This city doesn’t entertain strays!" Titan coldly pointed.

Third rolled his eyes and refused to leave. He followed after Titan. "Your female must like you alot! Is she pretty? I also heard that you share with other beasts. Are you happy that way?" Third asked relentlessly but Titan ignored him.

Third was the second to find a female. He had been so happy but his joy was short lived when his emotions got the better of him. He begun secretly killing all his female’s mates and when the matter came to light, she desposed him off and cut their familial bond. Third was so angry that he swallowed her and fled from the village he had been living in with his female.

He had a saying that if he couldn’t have it, no one deserved it!

And that was his tragic life!

He was a stray but Titan wasn’t afraid of him. One, he was far stronger than third despite being ’last’ _ his childhood name.

"Won’t you let me see her? It’s only just a peek!" Third insisted but Titan didn’t bother with him.

Alright!!" Third groaned helplessly. If only he had the guts to beat this last up! He’d do it with all his might bit who was he? He might not have a purpose to life anymore but he loved his life dearly.

When they made it to the back of the snake castle, third stopped following them and stood there watching their silhouettes disappear from his sight. His brother wasn’t vigilant around him! That was good. His initial playfulness darkened with the night. He snorted and turned to leave.

When Titan entered the house, four pairs of hostile eyes were drilling holes into him.

Sydney was still asleep in her cocoon as she was tired from being eaten up. Ken couldn’t tolerate this and rushed over to Titan’s side. "Hand her over!" He spread his hands before Titan.

Titan whose path was blocked looked at Ken. He wanted to slap this guy away but he was Sydney’s mate. He hissed in irritation and reluctantly handed her over.

Sydney didn’t even twitch as she shifted hands.

Shawn who saw a big bag went to collect it from Titan and he followed after Ken to the second floor. It was obvious all this baggage belonged to Sydney.

Caden, Ash and Titan remained in the room and watched as the two wolves went up. They looked amongst themselves and a tactic understanding flashed through their eyes.

Ash scrunched his nose when he smelt the faint scent of a stray on Titan bit he didn’t ask. He knew Titan knew the rules!

Up in the room, Ken was so angry that he fumbled with Sydney’s clothes wanting to take them off. He could smell that they had mated behind their back! He was a very aggrieved wolf!

"Stop it!" Shawn warned from the sidelines. A frown had covered the whole of his face.

"Who are you to tell me what to do?" Ken scoffed.

"I’m Sydney’s mate! That’s who I am! You can clearly see that she’s out from exhaustion but you are a selfish wolf that has no regard for her. All you care about is messing around with her!"

I’m also her mate! And what messing around? If I want to mate with my female, who are you to object?!" Ken growled.

"If it’s a fight you are looking for, be my guest but I won’t watch you torment our mate for your selfish desires. If I can’t deal with you which I doubt, I’ll get the others to do so."

"Hear how self righteous you sound! Titan just mated with her outside but all you and the others did was th seal your mouths and tuck your tails between your legs! When I try to mate with her, I become the selfish one?!"

Shawn sighed. "You are not selfish, you are just being so right now! Yes, Titan has had his turn, you’ll habe yours too! Just he patient!" Shawn advised.

Ever since his memories from the past found him after he mated with Sydney and regained his sight, he had changed alot!

He had watched her come to their world, laugh like a little fool! Fall in love and mate. Have children of her own! He was there even when her mates died one after the other, then her!

That was the hardest reality he couldn’t accept! Before he could loose himself, he intercepted with time and wished for time to go back to the times when she was happy and smiling with them!

He and the others had to pay a heavy price!

He just felt that it wasn’t fair for people like Titan and Ken to ride on the sacrifices of his fallen family. It stung so bad yet he couldn’t do a thing about it!

"Just let her rest for now!" Shawn explained but was cut short by the sounds of hurried footsteps outside.

Ken also noticed this and rushed to the window to look over the cover of the night. From his estimation, a total of a hundred beastmen or more were charging towards their home!

He frowned and let out a menacing growl when he sensed the killing intent from them!

Shawn also sensed it and muttered to himself in irritation. "We should have killed her soon!"

Ken heard him but said nothing. He also felt the same. "We only starved her for a day and she’s already breaking and calling for help! Tsk!" he was full of disdain.

The door to the bedroom was pushed open and the other three also walked in.

The attacking group didn’t plan for this to be a sneak attack. It was a formal confrontation and they had planned for the worst case scenario. However, what welcomed them in the courtyard was not part of the plan.

Millions of snakes covered the courtyard of the City lord’s home. These were snakes that all beastmen and beasts stayed away from. Actually, if a beastman sensed this snake in the vicinity, they’d change routes.

First and foremost, the white headed snakes were extremely territorial! Their poison was lethal and it killed an adult male in just five minutes! Another quality was that every single part of their body was poisonous.

Chills ran down their spines and no one dared to charge forward.

Even Ken who was holding a grudge against Titan immediately swallowed it. White headed snakes were his worst nightmare!

"This should be able to hold them off enough for Sydney to rest." Titan assured them. His beautiful mate was sleeping and he didn’t want any noise to disturb her beauty sleep. He could only resort to extreme measures.

He’d be answerable for his actions tonight but that was after he had gotten an explanation for attacking his family!

He shifted into his snake form and let his body fall all around the room The others had no choice but to jump onto the bed and rest.

The confronters outside were confused.

If they breathed, the snakes moved, if they blinked, the snakes moved. They had wanted to shout it out but who dared when a white headed snake was before them! Much less millions that even hung off the house like vines!
