Sydney secretly rolled her eyes hearing how Titan spoke like some rich Dom. He was indeed rich but this world didn’t take such things to value. Titan himself had collected them out of boredom!

She walked around the cave, catching everything that caught her fancy and everything that she caught, didn’t go back to the ground.

It was only after a while that she realised she had only two hands.

Titan stuffed his laughter and helplessly rubbed his temples.

"We will take them back with us." He assured her seeing how lost she looked. Her eyes were sparkling as she looked at the other things she hadn’t carried over.

Sydney nodded obediently. They belonged to Titan but since he allowed her to take them, she couldn’t bare to leave a single thing behind!

Titan walked past her and went to the end of the cave. He dug at a specific area and retrieved a huge skin. It was wrapped around many times.

Sydney caught this from the corner of her eyes and she jogged towards Titan to see this hidden treasure. It was even hidden underground?!

She thought of something and turned to look at him over her shoulder. "Does that mean even your eyes and hair were blue?"

Titan nodded softly. Among his batch, he was the only one with each and everything alike which made it easy for him to be sported. He also realized that as he grew in ranks and his posion changed, his features also changed.

"Now that you mention it, your brother living at the snake clan is also blue. You also turn blue when you withhold your posion!"

Titan chuckled.

"How was it the first time you shed your skin?" she asked out of curiosity. She had been with him and hadn’t seen him she’d skin or go into hibernation.

Titan leaned back against the wall and sighed. Sydney also leaned against his strong chest and looked up at him. His perfect jaw line was in her line of sight.

"I first shed my skin when I was six years old. The pain almost killed me." he laughed. Being born the last, he was weak, too weak to withstand such grueling pain.

Sydney could only imagine. She held his hands that were in each of her sides and brought them to wrap around her waist. "It must have hurt alot!" she whispered softly.

At that time, my favourite elder brother was out to hunt. I had seen him shed his skin but he didn’t seem to be in pain. He looked so strong that I admired him and looked forward to growing as strong as him. But when it was my turn, I thought I’d never grown up. I thought I’d die like mother did." he gritted his teeth and pulled Sydney into his body. He embraced her tightly as if he was clinging onto his lifeline.

Sydney remained silent.

"It took me a whole day to get through the process but still that wasn’t enough, I got sick and only got help from a witch master in a small tribe. But after the first time, every other time that followed felt less painful. It has been a while since I actually last shed any skin." he turned Sydney so that she was sitting sideways on his lap.

"You are brave! Thank you for enduring through the pain and finally meeting me." Sydney said softly. " From today onwards, if you ever feel like sheding skin, take me along. I’ll accompany you " her eyes softened looking into the pair of golden eyes.

"Mm, I’ll take you along!" he promised with a nod and dipped his head to kiss Sydney.

She wasn’t expecting the turn of events but also didn’t refuse him. She welcomed his advances and was actually happy!

How many days had it been since she last felt this tingling feeling in her stomach. Her heart thumped blood excitedly. Sydney couldn’t sit still and she shifted so that she was facing him.

Sydney did as she had been told. She left herself to him!

Titan drew back from peppering her with kisses and let his naughty hand wander down to her netherland. She was wet for him. He smiled.
