Chapter 116: Babies are back

Killian and Demir fell silent after hearing Darcio’s words.

All of this was too confusing for them so Demir frowned and looked at Darcio, "Isn’t the prophecy already complete?"

Darcio shook his head, "That is what even I thought but a vision that I had just a few days ago proved that false"

"What was your vision about?" Killian asked still trying to process the new information.

"For this past few weeks, I felt restless and annoyed for nothing, my inner power was screaming at me that I had done something incorrectly and my intuition is always right and that made me more agitated. After you left two days ago to look for your missing female, I rummaged through all of the old scriptures regarding the ’sapphire of wish’ but found nothing" he sighed and continued, "But when I closed my eyes to get some sleep, I saw the impression of someone tampering with my vision"

"Tampering?"

He nodded, "My powers started clashing with that person’s power, and I saw a vague image of a Giant snake, Vulture, Scorpion, Black Panther, and at last a Golden Eagle encircling the gem as though trying to safeguard it but I’m a cent percent sure that there was no silver wolf or Lion in that vision"

Demir furrowed his brows, "Then does it mean that Lucas and Noah are not part of the prophecy?"

"I’m sure about this master," Darcio said with confidence, "I always felt that something was wrong that didn’t match the prophecy and now I know. The prophecy clearly mentions that the gem has to heal six soul crystals for the blood eclipse to arrive and princes from the silver wolf tribe and lion tribe do not yet have a soul crystal in their hearts. My lady’s father inside the gem can only succeed to break free from his shackles if six crystals come together"

"Then who is the sixth one?" Killian asked the most important question in his mind. It was already such a mess with eagle king, so he wanted to get ready to confront another crazy bastard.

Darcio darted his eyes away from him bent his head, "My vision stopped right at the moment where I was trying to look for the last male"

Demir frowned, "Then what about the old prophecy that you received? Were Lucas and Noah in there?"

"That is what confused me until now master, My old prophecy showed me an image of you, Lord Killian, the snake king, Vulture king, and the princes of silver wolf and lion tribe"

Killian narrowed his eyes, "Is there no other way to find the sixth one?"

Darcio shook his head sadly, "All we can do now is wait, my lord. I think destiny will bring him to my lady"

Both Killian and Demir felt uneasy hearing that. Not knowing anything about that sixth male made them worried for Lyra. What if he was someone vicious and brutal? She was already exhausted from dealing with the aftermath of getting kidnapped by eagle king and now she had to face another maniac?

"It will be alright my lords" Darcio reassured but that did not reduce their nervousness.

Back in the rose castle, Noah opened his eyes and got up from the bed. A sharp pain hit his head as soon as he got up making him clutch his head. He groaned but frowned when he remembered something and bolted out of the room, "Baby dove!?"

Lucas just returned to the entrance after sending the witch master and saw Noah pacing around, "You finally woke up?"

Noah turned towards him and parted his lips, "Where is my mate?"

"She is resting inside," Lucas said as he entered, "The meat in the banquet which Ly consumed was poisoned and she just took the antidote and fell asleep"

Noah’s eyes widened, "Poisoned?" he asked, "Ho-how is she?"

"Don’t worry" Lucas said, "Both Ly and the baby are safe"

He sighed and started walking towards Lyra’s room but Lucas stopped him, "She is sleeping in her parents’ room"

Noah turned around, although confused he made his way towards Theodore and Iria’s room and caught sight of Victor holding his mate’s hands.

Victor glanced at him and smiled faintly, "How are you feeling?"

"I’m alright," he said and stepped towards Lyra. Victor got up from his place and left them alone because he felt sorry for the lion beastman.

Noah went towards the bed and lay beside her. His hand encircled around her waist and turned her to face him. She looked fine and that made him relax. He kissed her forehead and closed his eyes.

After what felt like an eternity, Lyra stirred in her sleep and fluttered open her eyes staring at Noah’s handsome face. Tears pooled her eyes and she sniffled waking him up in the process.

He gazed at her with a gentle smile on his lips but was surprised when she suddenly hugged him burying her face in his chest, "I-i was so worried...." he heard her weak voice and that made him frown, "What’s wrong baby dove?"

She continued to silently cry not answering him and Noah felt helpless. He patted her back trying to console her but her sobs kept on increasing making him worried, "Are you hurt somewhere? Please say, something baby dove"

Lyra pulled away from him and cupped his face, "I heard that you were attacked, Did you get hurt somewhere?"

Warmth filled his heart as soon as those words left her mouth. It made him feel both pathetic and happy. Pathetic because he was not strong enough to protect himself and her but happy because she was this worried about him. He caressed her face and smiled, "I’m fine baby dove"

Lyra too smiled at him and kissed his lips. The gentle kiss turned feverish in no time and soon they were removing each other’s clothes. Their heated moment came to halt when Lyra’s stomach growled. Noah halted his action and chuckled at her, "Hungry?"

She nodded honestly, "I didn’t eat anything properly after that incident in the banquet"

"That long?" he frowned and got up. She remained still as he started putting her dress back, "You should eat something"

Lyra got up together with him but stopped, "Did you hear about the poisoning?"

Noah turned towards her, "Lucas informed me, I’m sorry I was not able to be with you when you had such a difficult time"

"It’s not your fault," she said clutching his hands, "Both I and the baby are safe, so don’t blame yourself for something that was out of your hands"

"Still..." he started but she shut his mouth with her lips and beamed at him after pulling away, "No self-blaming allowed, Got it!?"

Seeing her stern face, he chuckled and answered, "Yes my lady"

"Then let’s go!" she said cheerfully dragging him out of the room.

Lucas was sitting in the living room when they got out. Lyra smiled at him and spoke, "I’m hungry"

"I’ll get you something to eat," he said and went inside the kitchen.

After some time a delicious meat stew was laid in front of Lyra making her gulp. She quickly finished and even made both Noah and Lucas eat knowing that they would have not eaten anything after her missing.

As they finished eating, Blake entered the castle with little snakes behind him. Lyra turned towards him and smiled, then her eyes traveled down the ground making her beam, "Babies!"

The little snakes completely abandoned their father as soon as they heard their mother’s voice. Blake watched them as the little snakes got on Lyra’s lap. She stroked their heads one by one, "Did you miss mama?"

To answer her, they hissed in unison and nuzzled closer to her embrace enjoying her warmth. Blake felt somewhat left out and walked to them, "Lilly....."

Lyra looked at his whining face and stretched out her hand, "Come here"

Blake smiled and sat next to her on the ground. The little snakes lifted their head and looked at their father with disdain, ’Sssss’

"You little rouges!" a vein popped up his forehead hearing their words.

"What did they say?" Lyra asked curiously looking between the father and sons.

"Nothing," he said still glaring at them. They said that he was petty for getting jealous of his own sons and they were ashamed because of him.

"You always do this" she pouted and grumbled but didn’t pursue this matter and continued to play with her babies.
