Chapter 73: Attack

THIRD PERSON’S POV

Riding the bike at the speed of 160-200km/hr, Valencia reached the forest within an hour and went straight to the camp area where she knew the man must’ve prepared the things she asked for.

"Mam, my wife-" The man rushed to Valencia, who looked at him with a neutral expression on her face.

"There’s no time. Give me the weapons," Valencia said and took the archery quiver, before placing it on her shoulders along with the bow.

"Please bring her back," the man kneeled to her, and she hummed before riding the bike straight towards the Black Haze pack.

She was scared. No lies.

Her heart drummed in her chest, but she wasn’t going to let her fear take over her heart and keep her from saving a pregnant woman, the woman of the man who fed her when she had no one to turn to.

’Aurora, I want zero mistakes with this one. If you can’t help me, keep your mouth shut, for the moon goddess’s sake. I won’t tolerate it here,’ Valencia warned her wolf, who nodded like an obedient child.

As Valencia accelerated the bike, it wasn’t long before she reached the borders of the Hazel Pack.

"Hey! Who are you? Where is your permit? Hey! Hey! Guards!" The border control immediately tried to stop her, but she accelerated her bike even further, making them jump away from in front of her.

She threw two more smoke bombs on her left and right quickly as she got down from the bike and went straight to the pack house.

Wait. What if the alpha’s son didn’t take the woman to the pack house?

She grabbed a random man who looked like a soldier and took out her gun, pressing it straight into his throat.

"Where is the woman that your Alpha’s son kidnapped?" Valencia asked, and the man looked into her dark eyes before gulping.

"The guest house," he stuttered.

"Directions," she asked.

"Straight to the left," He said.

Valencia hit the soldier’s head with the back of the pistol before throwing him away.

She took out one arrow from her quiver before positioning her bow.

She might not be the strongest wolf alive or have those powers that these people feel proud of, but she learned many other things that she could still use against them.

She started hitting the people with arrows that were soaked in the chemical to render the person unable to move and unconscious.

Valencia looked around as the smoke started to disappear and the soldiers started to arrive well-prepared.

She knew she needed to do something as quickly as possible.

Without wasting any more time, she rushed inside the guest house, ascending the stairs when she heard a painful scream coming from the first floor.

With a deep breath, she kicked the door open, and seeing the man hovering over the familiar pregnant woman whose belly was being pressed because of his weight, Valencia’s anger started to take over her and cloud her vision.

"Hey! Who the fuck are you? Guards! Who let this bitch in?" The alpha’s son zipped his pants quickly.

Valencia looked at the woman who was crying helplessly, and her eyes brimmed with tears that she quickly blinked away.

"Penetration?" She asked the woman, dreading the answer.

If the woman in front of her nodded her head, even Valencia didn’t know what she would do in the moment of her anger. She was ready to kill him, but the kind of death he would get would turn out to be a lesson for their entire pack.

"N-no," The woman whimpered and Valencia took a deep shaky breath.

"Bastard," Valencia cursed out loud before she stepped ahead.

"Ha, does this bitch think she can fight me? Do you not know who I am? I am the alpha’s son. My name is Samu-" The man couldn’t even complete his sentence when Valencia used her flexibility and pounced on the man.

Samuel was no less strong either.

As soon as she pounced on top of him, he kicked her away, making her land back on the ground, but her cat’s flexibility made her land on her four.

Samuel looked at the woman in front of her with wide eyes.

What kind of creep fighting technique was this? He gulped as he looked into her eyes, who was looking back at him with no fear, just pure hatred and a predatory sinister look.

"What the fuck?!" Samuel roared before he pulled out his gun from his back, but Valencia was quick on her feet, she jumped on the side of the window before pouncing on Samuel in a way that she snatched his gun from his hand and landed right behind him, her gun pressed against his neck.

"Exactly, you stinking, pathetic excuse of an Alpha. What the fuck?" Valencia whispered in his ears before she stuffed the gun in her pocket.

"Can you get up, Miss Bailey?" Valencia asked, and when she saw the woman trying her best to get up and failing every single time, Valencia cursed out loud.

By now, the entire army of the pack soldiers must be waiting for her outside of the guest house. There was no way she would be able to move out of here alive.

Valencia looked around, trying to find a way.

Seeing the girl getting distracted, Samuel quickly elbowed her abdomen, making her wince in pain and crouch a little at the strength he used on her.

It almost felt like her ribs nearly broke, and she took a sharp breath when he punched her in the face.

Valencia could taste the metallic liquid in her mouth as her vision blurred for a second.

’Valencia, I know you are not shedding blood because of me, because I get crazy when subjected to direct contact with blood, but I promise to keep control. I will handle myself and notice transformation into any form, not a cat or any other creature even after some time. Don’t hesitate so much,’ Aurora said.

Valencia took a deep breath. Aurora was right. It was the main reason she was trying to shed too much blood.

It was something she learned white early when fighting with rogues. Whenever she is subjected to too much blood, Aurora always transforms her irrespective of the need in some time, and she couldn’t afford it here where she needed to help the lady out.

"I am trusting you on this, then," Valencia nodded at Aurora.

Aurora smiled. It was the same reason she was so disheveled in the morning when Valencia looked at her.

After Shadow made her drink his blood, the most carnal form of contact with blood, it had taken nearly every ounce of strength she had inside her to not transform into a tigress and drink more of his blood because it was blood that made her strong in the end.

Valencia, who was crouching down, coughing blood, saw Samuel raising his foot to kick her, but she quickly dodged his kick and rolled to the side.

"Ha, do you think you can protect yourself for long?" The man asked her, and he was about to extend his hand to grab her hair when Valencia pulled out the dagger from her back pocket and hit his arm, before hitting his thighs.

She stood straight, her hand rubbing her abdomen as she hit his face with her elbow before landing a roundhouse kick straight to his jaws.

"You bitch!"

Pain registered in Samuel’s head and he growled angrily, ready to turn into his wolf to attack her.

However, Valencia, who saw it coming, punched him straight in the face, and as soon as he opened his mouth to scream at her, she stuffed his mouth with the herbs she was carrying.

Samuel’s eyes widened when he realized what it was and he looked back at the predatory eyes of the girl in pure horror.

It was concentrated wolfsbane mixed with pure silver.

"Since you are so keen on r*ping women all the time, let’s deal with it first, yes?" Valencia said before she threw the man to the side, who coughed violently, trying his best to vomit the wolfsbane out of his system.

"Will you do it?" Valencia asked as she helped the lady up and the lady nodded.
