Chapter 110: V

THIRD PERSON’S POV

Valencia smirked behind the mask as she covered her face, walking to the last two rogues, who were on the ground with their dismembered limbs, looking at her with carnal fear in their eyes.

"Do you want me to let you live?" Valencia asked.

The rogues trembled under her haughty venomous gaze that promised nothing good.

The Survival instincts kicked in and they nodded their heads, making Valencia’s pupils dilate with the pleasure she was getting from seeing them like this.

Aurora sat in her place, clenching her paws as she held back, the invisible strings she created to keep herself in control and not take over Valencia because her first shift would be like inviting trouble for herself as everyone would know about her.

’Rrrrr,’ Aurora groaned, feeling like it was a bad idea to provoke Valencia so much. She just wanted to check Valencia’s powers and nothing else.

Though Valencia was still the same, barely stronger than before, her rage was the driving force behind her madness and rampant killing that made her the worst she had known in all her rebirths.

’Help me,’ Aurora said to no one in particular as she was being slid forward and the angels who were watching everything unfolding in front of them, felt pitiful for the wolf.

Then again, she invited this upon herself. She must bear the consequences herself.

Valencia sat on her ankles as she looked into the rogue’s eyes.

"Let me ensure you won’t say anything about what I did to anyone," she whispered and the rogues immediately understood what she meant.

This wasn’t the first time something like this was happening. They have heard of rogues left by V who later died because of excruciating pain. But that was a different case, what was common was their tongues that were always missing from their mouths.

"Don’t make me wait. Go ahead," Valencia said and the rogues closed their eyes dejectedly. It wasn’t like they were left with much choice when it came to this.

They were going to die anyway.

However, if V still left them on time, they might be able to escape the alpha.

They extended their tongues and Valencia smiled before she pulled out her dagger.

Slice!

The silver Blade shone in the moonlight as it moved at the speed of light. Before the rogues knew, the tongues were already removed from their bodies and they screamed in agony.

"Till next time," Valencia stood from her place, fighting back all the urges she had to sit there and drink the blood of one of the rogues to her content.

Aurora looked at her human counterpart with surprise. This was the first time someone was able to control her desire for blood when faced with such blood and that to be after tasting it already.

The invisible strings she had formed around herself, binding her in the ropes to control herself, started to snap one by one as Valencia sat on her bike before starting to leave.

At the same time, Alpha Maverick, who had turned into his wolf form and was surprised to smell the strong scent of rogue blood from another direction, reached the site right at the time when he saw a bike speeding away at some distance.

He quickly changed into his human counterpart and looked at the traces of the blood, reaching the rogues, who were left alive.

Both the rogues had only one hand and one leg and they were supporting each other to be able to run away.

To say Maverick was surprised with this kind of sight would be an understatement.

His team, who also reached there, looked at the horrific site.

If their alpha was a monster, this person was nothing less than a demon. Limbs were spread in the range of 50 m. Three heads were rolling on the side and there was no doubt this was done by a katana of finest sharpness.

Maverick walked to the rogues casually and stood in front of them, making the rogues widen their eyes.

Their scent of blood was so thick that they couldn’t even smell the scent of the alpha behind them.

All they knew was that they needed to run away. However, luck was clearly not on their side.

"Who did this to you?" Maverick asked, more interested in knowing who that person was before killing the rogues which was going to happen sooner or later.

The rogues shook their heads, spiking Maverick’s anger.

"Are you saying you are not going to tell me? Do you not fear what I might do to your family?" Alpha Maverick asked and the rogues pointed to their mouths before shaking their heads.

Angered by their denial, Maverick grabbed the jaws of one of the rogues, his pupils dilating when he noticed that the man didn’t have a tongue. He looked at the other rogue and he was the same.

He stepped back.

He looked at his team before looking back at the rogues as he kicked their legs, making them fall on the ground, his kick breaking their legs as they twisted to an odd angle.

"Who was it? If you can’t speak, write it," Maverick said and the rogues, who were barely keeping their consciousness because of the pain, wanted to beg for life.

They didn’t want to tell her name either. But that bitch was the one because of who they were in this position in the first place.

Besides, wasn’t she a rogue herself?

Given how deeply Alpha Maverick hated the rogues, he would definitely find her and kill her.

The rogue picked a random pebble from the ground and drew one letter that could tell Alpha Maverick the reason behind their situation.

"V"

Maverick looked at the letter and his brows furrowed.

V? Wasn’t it the rogue who has been quite popular among all the alphas and rogues these days because of his righteousness?

Was he here for his personal agenda? Or was it because these rogues mistreated a little girl? The last news they heard about her was saving that rogue woman from the pack and throwing Samuel down that drain.

Yes. Though the information was kept a secret because of an order from the council directly who didn’t want the pack to feel ashamed of what happened, the fact that they knew V was a woman was kept hidden.

Only the council, the alpha’s pack and he knew about it.

He looked at the rogues and noticed one of them had stopped breathing already. He sighed as he looked at his team.

"There are nine of them, sir. All the rogues who ran away are killed by this mysterious person," Logan said and Maverick hummed.

He bit his lower lip.

He was still angry because of all the information he found out, but curiosity was suppressing all the other emotions now.

"Hmm," He said before dialing a number.

He waited for the person to pick up the call and it wasn’t long before Shadow picked the call.

"Where is Valencia?" Maverick asked without hesitation.

He had appointed Shadow to keep a look at Valencia because she was being quite secretive and though he didn’t want to approach her directly before he didn’t want her to distance herself from him and make him go mad, it didn’t mean he didn’t need to know the truth surrounding her.

"Valencia? Sir, I returned to the pack to retrieve the files that Carl asked me about at the recent meeting. You said to hold a meeting with him regarding the cases," Shadow said and Maverick’s pupils dilated.

Why? Because he saw something shining under the moonlight at some distance.

He walked to it in large strides.

"I told you to keep a lookout at Valencia too. Who is keeping an eye on her then?" Maverick asked as he bent and picked what looked like a small broken piece of a keychain.

He stuffed the part in his pocket to see if he could find any clue with that before he looked at his team who was altered starting with the clean-up work because the area was near human territories and they couldn’t afford any leakage of what they did here.

He looked at the even graver mess made by this girl named V and pressed his lips into a thin line.

"Shall I ask someone to bring the intel, sir?" Shadow asked and Maverick rolled his eyes.

"Leave it. I am leaving from -"

"Where?"

"On a ride."

"At this time of night?"

"She is just like that. She probably had a lot on her mind after her friend got into an accident. Don’t mind her. She would be fine,"

Alpha Maverick heard the conversation between Shadow and Carl, and his brows quirked.

She was on a ride? On a bike? He looked at the broken piece of keychain and a weird thought crossed his head before he shook his head.

What was he thinking? She was a part of the council and even the council was fed up with this V and her actions. Besides, don’t people say she was a rogue? There was no way Valencia and V were the same person.
