Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me -
Chapter 128: Failed To Create Fallen
"What's that?" Daniel said, his eyes narrowing.
"That's the Sunfall Seal... an A-rank item," Elarion gave a short explanation, then quickly activated his defensive skills as he realized the item had been triggered and sealed the surroundings.
The function of this item was simple — it sealed a small area and summoned a miniature sun inside it, which then exploded.
The blast wave only spread inside that sealed domain and didn't escape outside of it.
A golden seal glowed in the air and exploded with a pressure from within. A light, whiter than the sun, filled the crypt.
Suddenly, a beautiful miniature sun appeared in the middle of them, floating slightly above their heads.
"Damn it!" Daniel cursed and activated his defensive skills.
The wave of energy struck both of them. The world turned white. Silence… then darkness.
Thick smoke filled the crypt. The only sound was the crackling of the seal's leftover sparks.
Laina had fallen to her knees, trembling and in disbelief. In front of her, Daniel's lifeless body lay on the ground. The blast, even though it only covered a small area, was terrifying.
It instantly killed anyone below A-rank.
Laina let out a sigh. Fortunately, it seemed to have worked. She glanced to the other side of the crypt — Andreas was still unconscious, and Ilaris was watching their battle in shock.
She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. That girl was completely in shock — calming her down would take a long time.
But just as she exhaled in relief, the sound of heavy footsteps echoed from within the mist.
Elarion, injured but still standing, stepped out.
His body was veined with black energy. His eyes were glowing brighter than ever.
"How... how are you still alive?!" Laina shouted, shocked at the sight of him.
How was this bastard still alive?
"Have you ever heard of the Final Life skill?"
Laina frowned in fear. She knew about that skill. But wasn't that a skill only the high commanders of the Elven High Court possessed?
"So you sacrificed all your people just to stay alive?" she asked, glaring at the dark elf with furious eyes.
"They should be happy their leader died," Elarion smirked.
The Final Life skill allowed the user to link their life to a hundred others.
In exchange for the death of a hundred people, the user's life would be preserved. You could say it was like having a second life.
However, the skill was one-time use and couldn't be used again.
Laina's eyes locked onto Daniel's body. He had lost. This was the end for him.
Elarion wrapped his hand around her neck and snapped it on the spot, killing her instantly.
"I need to start the ritual as soon as possible," he said, walking without hesitation toward Ilaris.
Although he had used the Final Life skill, his vitality was still at rock bottom.
As long as he could perform the ritual, the curse would be lifted and he would return to full strength.
However, suddenly, he sensed something behind him — something that completely shocked him.
"How is this possible? Are you even human?" He turned around and saw the white-haired man standing there.
Alive and perfectly fine. Even the scratches and wounds on his body had completely disappeared.
"Of course. I'm very sensitive about being called human, so you better not joke about it," Daniel laughed. He had actually died for real that time and was forced to use one of his extra lives.
Unfortunately, he lost one of his Fallen Knights in the process — one of the golden knights he had turned into a fallen being in the Colosseum dungeon.
But he wasn't too upset. After all, he was about to gain a B-rank Dark Elf as his new fallen. And there was also that elf girl.
Elarion frowned. He wasn't in good shape and doubted he could win in a fight.
"I'll let you go. I may be weakened, but there's no way a lowly C-rank like you could beat me."
"Hahaha, that was a good joke… But who said I was the one who's going to beat you?" Daniel looked at him playfully.
"What do you mean?"
Without wasting time, Daniel summoned Zargorth. Suddenly, blood flowed under their feet, and a three-meter-tall monster emerged from it.
Compared to him, both of them looked like children.
"This is impossible! You're… you've been a Mancer this whole time?!" Elarion stepped back several times, staring at Daniel in terror.
For the first time, he was truly scared. He had no trump cards left, and the creature in front of him was B-rank! He had no chance of winning.
He tried to run, but Zargorth struck him hard with his tail and smashed him into the ground. Before he could even beg for mercy, Zargorth started punching him.
It crushed his face and shattered his skull.
"That's enough," Daniel said as he stood over Elarion's corpse. His eyes were bulging out, and he was practically unrecognizable.
Daniel cut his fingertip and let a drop of blood fall onto him.

Suddenly, light from the sky and ground enveloped Elarion. His body started to regenerate, and his hair turned purple with a galactic shine.
His eyes became pitch black — as dark as the night sky.

"Nairok," Daniel picked a random name.

Daniel suddenly felt a new surge of power flow through him. He temporarily closed the Mother System — he didn't have time to check Nairok's panel right now.
"Glory to the Lord," Nairok knelt before him.
Daniel nodded and went over to Laina. He dropped a bit of blood on her too, trying to turn her into a Fallen as well.
But to his surprise:
