Sunshine peeked from behind the doors of the living room while munching on an apple. The servants behind and opposite of her that were peeking as well were baffled. As a member of the Quinn family, the legally recognized Mrs. Quinn, she should have been sitting in on the meeting.

What was she doing out here with the ordinary folks?

She did not know what they were thinking for she was thinking about the sweetness of the apple and wondering if she had stocked enough apples in her space.

As for Moon, Sunshine had already guessed that she had made up her mind to break ties with the Quinn’s and it was why she was going all out.

Thinking of Moon made her think of Cassius that was also hiding behind the door like the rest of them. It was not actually hiding but sitting on the tiled floor, playing with a toy car.

For someone that was playing with a toy and seemingly having fun, he was way too quiet. It seemed he was also listening to the conversation in the living.

Sunshine smiled devilishly and she turned around and said, "It is such a shame that he is a fool. Even if all that money is given to him, Moon will pocket it." She winced a little. "Cathy, do you really think that he is a fool?"

Cassius started laughing and clapping, acting like a fool.

"He must be." Cathy said.

Sunshine shook her head. "Sometimes, it seems as if he understands. I will believe that he is a fool if I ever see him eating dog shit. Or feeding Moon dog shit."

She bit into the apple and turned her attention to the argument which was suddenly getting louder. Fifi Quin was the one speaking.

"I told you all that Cassius getting married was a bad idea. Do you see what you have done Rori? You brought this gold digger into our family."

"Who else was going to marry a fool?" Moon quizzed back. "I did not see any daughters of wealthy families lining up to take him. He is my problem now, not yours. All I want is what is rightfully ours. You Quinn’s are out to scam us."

Gasps, scoffs, sneers and snorts. All sorts of sounds and reactions were made in response.

"I would like to make this clear, Moon Raine. Even if you are married to Cassius it does not mean that you can make life changing decisions for him. As his father I believe that such power still belongs to me." Hades’ voice was calm yet every word was laced with a warning.

With a flourish of contempt, Moon scoffed, tilting her chin high. "That is not what my lawyer says, I am entitled to my husband’s estate." She pointed her index finger at Hades. "And that includes all the possessions, property and assets that his father left behind which you have been benefiting from until today." Moon crowned, a devilish curve to her lips. She had done her research about Peter Strauss’s estate.

From what she found out, he had a small lake side manor that was supposed to be passed down to Cassius at the age of twenty. Because of the his mental condition, Hades thought it wise not to pass it to him to prevent people from taking advantage of him.

Peter Strauss had acquired it at 1.2 million and today, it was worth thirty two million. Moon had only learned of this today and she was determined to get the manor or cash equivalent.

Currently, Warren Quinn treated the manor as his part time vacation house. It was why she was accusing the Quinn’s of benefiting from Cassius’s legal property. Obviously, they simply didn’t want to give her husband what was rightfully his.

Hades folded his lips, there was honestly nothing much that he could do. "I will have a conversation with Cassius about this." He told them.

"Ask him how? He is not mentally well so he cannot decide on this matter. As his wife, I have the right to speak for him. Besides, I doubt that he wants to talk to you after you drugged my cousin and slept with her." Moon spoke menacingly as she folded her arms on her chest.

Those that were not aware of how Sunshine had ended up in bed with Hades gasped from shock. If Hades had drugged Sunshine and slept with her, did it mean that he had raped her?

Initially they assumed Sunshine had climbed into his bed and he was a victim of a scheme because he was paralyzed. But with his legs seemingly normal, that theory was now put into question.

Grandpa Quinn clenched on his tightening chest. "My Hades would never!" He shouted.

"My son would never do that." Rori screamed. She was so glad that the children were not there to hear this.

Fifi dramatically held the back of her head. Words failed her.

"Who drugged whom?" Warren’s mouth remained opened.

Sunshine, in the meantime was on the receiving end of shocked and questioning looks from the servants. Some were even looking at her with pity.

Sunshine walked into the living room immediately. "Do not believe the lie. Moon drugged me, led me up the stairs and laid me in bed next to an unconscious Hades, that is what happened. I checked the CCTV footage just to be sure." She cleared the air.

"I-is t-th-that trueee?" Cassius struggled to say as he crawled into the living room on his hands and knees.

Moon told him everything about how his father had been jealous of his relationship with Sunshine, he admired her greatly so he drugged and slept with her. When he got caught, he stuffed Sunshine with a lot of money and a title of Mrs. Quinn, and she gladly accepted. She also assured him that Sunshine did not like him; she found him disgusting and all along she had been pretending to be nice to him.

He had doubted it all in the beginning but then, Sunshine started calling him a fool, ignoring him and acting as if he disgusted her. Then, he had no idea what to think.

All guns blazing turned to Moon. "Shameless bitch." Colleta cursed.

Moon ignored the insult and hurried off to her husband, trying to help him up from the floor. "Honey do not believe anything that Sunshine says. I am the only one telling the truth. Ask your grandmother she caught them ready handed in bed together.

Why do you think Sunshine married Hades under such circumstances, she chose money over you. I on the other hand chose you, my love. even though you are in this pathetic condition." She spun him around. "Let us go my love, such animosity is not good for your health." Moon pushed him out with all her might.

Rowena and Dustin rushed after them.

"What do we do now?" Rori asked no one in particular.

"You should know, after all you brought that vermin into our lives." Fifi answered, she turned her attention to Hades. "Do not tell me that you are going to give that scammer a dime. Does she look like she has any affection for Cassius? All she has in her eyes is his money."

Hades did not want to discuss any of this anymore. "I have a headache. This ends here, as for those that think I owe them something because they invested some money in Quinn group, my lawyers will be touch tomorrow.

Your original investments will be returned to you with a profit. But I am going to make it clear that from the moment you accept that money, I hold no more responsibility for you. I will never extend a helping hand to you again."
