An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me
Chapter 131: Full transformation

Chapter 131: Full transformation

Inside the infirmary, Ariel sat at her desk. She stared at a piece of paper for a while without saying anything, then she crumpled it and pulled out a pendant from the drawer of her table.

It was a simple oval locket made from polished silver, with the engraving of a small bird on it. She rubbed the engraving with her thumb slowly and then opened the locket.

Inside was the picture of a man, a young boy, and a woman together, smiling happily. A tear dropped on the painting. She immediately cleaned it off and wiped her eyes.

"I’m sorry, Mum, Dad, Andrew. I’ll have to fight today," she said. She closed the locket and wore it around her neck. She stretched out her hands, and a spear appeared. She drew a deep breath and walked out of the infirmary.

She walked down the hallway, the same way Fay had gone, and when she made it to the main hallway, some demonized were there. They rushed toward her immediately from all angles.

She stayed stationary until they were close—too close even—then she moved. Her fingers spun the spear so fast the force cut into the floor, and then she vanished.

She appeared up in the air, the spear pulled back. "It’s good to hold a spear after such a long time," she said and threw the spear down. It stabbed into the ground, and immediately the ground froze. Ice spikes shot out and stabbed into the demonized, killing them all on the spot.

She landed on the ice and let out a cold breath. She pulled the spear out and started walking toward the library.

She dragged her spear along the ground, causing a very loud scraping sound. When she arrived at the hallway to the library, she saw Fay covered in injuries, bleeding and struggling to keep standing.

"You really are one hell of a stubborn brat," she said. She threw her spear; it cut through the air, passing Fay by just an inch and stabbing into the heart of one of the demonized.

Then the ice spread, exploding from its body and creating an ice wall several feet thick. The demonized started smashing against it and trying to get through, but it would take a while before they smashed that wall.

Ariel walked up to Fay. "You did good. I can tell from how many bodies are on the ground," Ariel said.

"Miss Ariel, you are fighting again?" Fay asked.

"It seems like it, but don’t tell your brother. I don’t want him running here and disturbing me," Ariel said. She held Fay’s hand and used healing, making all the wounds begin to close. After a minute or two, the wounds closed up and she was fully healed.

The demonized had also made progress with the wall, causing cracks all over. A little more, and the wall would shatter.

Ariel confidently walked to the wall and grabbed the end of her spear. "Ready yourself," she said and pulled the spear out.

[.....]

Lance attacked Robert again, his massive sword coming down like it was judgment from the gods. But before the sword could complete its journey, a flash of light filled the air and the sword was blasted back.

Quin stood in front of Robert with a neutral expression, but anyone that looked at him could tell that he was pissed.

"You are really trying to kill a royal?" Quin asked, pointing at Lance. But Lance had lost it; he attacked without thinking.

Quin raised his sword and slashed. A sword wave shot out and hit the Amaterasu head-on, blasting off one arm.

"Tell me, Lance, what could possibly drive you to do this?" Quin asked and started walking toward Lance.

Lance attacked again with his one arm, but Quin did the same thing and blasted off that arm.

"Do you really believe that because of some blessing you will suddenly become someone that can do whatever he wants?" Quin asked and slashed. The attack hit the chest and left a deep cut.

"You really don’t get it, do you, kid? All you got was the ability to land the blow that ends the demons. Nothing was ever said about you being the strongest," Quin said, adding salt to Lance’s wound.

He slashed again and cut through the Amaterasu easily, destroying it. Lance fell to the ground. He got up again, but the anger in his eyes had not faded.

"This academy is in crisis, and one of my students is attacking his own allies. As a member of one of the clans, I’ll be passing judgment on you, Lance," Quin said, allowing his aura to run free.

Lance stared at him, and suddenly all the anger and rage he had turned into fear. He started walking backward, trying to get away from Quin.

"Please stay away. I’m sorry, I’m sorry!" he yelled.

"It’s too late for that," Quin said. He grabbed Lance by the neck and lifted him off the ground, when suddenly he felt something coming.

Immediately, he threw Lance at Robert, gripped his sword tight, and slashed.

Boom.

A collision so massive it shook the entire academy. The ground trembled, the entire training yard cracked like an earthquake was happening, and the students around all started running for their lives.

Robert, along with the rest, started running as well. He grabbed Lance while he was running, dragging him behind him.

Quin stood there in place, but the ground behind him had been obliterated, and a very deep and long gully was what remained.

"So this is what the power of a true demon looks like," he said.

"Exactly. I didn’t think I would have to remove all restraints in order to fight you, but here we are," Sally said.

Her skin was still the same as before, but now dragon-like red wings had sprouted from her back, and horns on her head. Her eyes looked like that of a dragon.

"You still look human after taking your true form. Are you that in love with how we look?" Quin asked.

"Ha, humans think they are the center of everything," she said.
