"Miss Aurora," Enoch called out her name as he approached her, urging her to move forward.

Aurora let out a sigh and reluctantly walked toward Damien’s direction, feeling her legs growing weak under the weight of everyone’s gaze. She couldn’t believe Damien had brought his sexual partner in front of his fiancèe’s family, it was an outrageous move.

"Greetings, my lord and Miss," Aurora said, slightly bowing to Sarah’s parents before turning to face Sarah, who seemed neither happy nor sad to see her. It was more of a curious yet unsatisfied look, and Aurora hoped it was more of disinterest rather than curiosity.

"Lady Sarah," Aurora gestured toward Sarah, returning the greeting.

As Sarah looked at Damien, she wore a questioning expression, wondering who the unfamiliar woman was. Could she be the handmaiden he had arranged for her? But she appeared too well-dressed for that role.

Damien stood beside Aurora, gripping her shoulder tightly and pulling her closer to him. "This is Aurora, my sexual partner. Aurora, meet Sarah, the future Luna," Damien introduced them with a smirk, clearly enjoying the reactions of everyone present.

Enoch shook his head, annoyed by Damien’s antics. There was no need for such an introduction, Damien was undoubtedly sending a message to Sarah to give up.

Surprisingly, Sarah didn’t appear angry. Instead, she smiled at Aurora and said, "Thanks for taking care of my husband. I hope we get along well."

Dave, who stood beside Theresa, was shocked by Sarah’s composed response and found himself growing fond of her.

He had expected her to react angrily or walk away, but instead, she confidently claimed her place in a way that didn’t offend anyone. It was evident that Damien had met his match in her.

"I... Sure," Aurora replied, unsure of what to say amidst the silent conflicts between the parties. She couldn’t help but notice Sarah’s confidence, and inwardly, she felt relieved that someone bold enough to handle Damien would be his future wife.

"We were never told of a sexual partner. Would you care to shed more light on why you have one?" Sarah’s mother, Laura, said with disdain in her voice, directing her disapproval at Aurora.

"Mother, the Alpha is a man after all. No man would be able to resist a seductive woman," Sarah defended Damien, but her words left a bitter taste for everyone, including Aurora.

Was she implying that Aurora was a mere whore?

Noticing the tension, Theresa quickly intervened and suggested they continue the discussion while having their meal. She led Sarah’s parents away, leaving Damien, Aurora, Enoch, and Dave behind. The elders had followed Theresa’s lead.

"Wow, they made the perfect choice for you," Dave teased, moving closer to Damien and expressing his approval. Damien loved being in control, and it seemed that Sarah possessed the same trait.

However, Dave knew Damien well and predicted that Sarah would eventually bend to his will. No one could out-authorize Damien.

Damien sent Dave a menacing glare, prompting him to shift his attention to Aurora.

"If he ever abandons you, remember I will be here for you," Dave whispered to Aurora before walking away.

Caught off guard, both Aurora and Damien exchanged glances simultaneously, making Aurora blush with embarrassment.

"What are you thinking?" Damien asked directly, facing her with his piercing gaze.

"You shouldn’t have introduced me as your sexual partner. I am just a mere breeder in contract," Aurora objected with a dissatisfied look.

"I decide what is mere and what is not," Damien retorted with the same arrogance that annoyed her. He never considered other people’s feelings before taking action, so arguing with him seemed futile.

"Sure, sure. I will take my leave now," Aurora said reluctantly, not wanting to waste any more time in his presence. But Damien abruptly stopped her and pulled her closer to him, his expression stern.

"Like I said, ’I decide.’ You are eating with us," he declared, yanking her wrist off and walking away. Aurora glared at his retreating back, feeling frustrated with his domineering attitude.

"Miss Aurora, after you," Enoch said, gesturing for her to walk ahead. Aurora started walking but suddenly remembered something and turned to face Enoch.

"What did you do to Scarlet?" She inquired.

"I have no idea what you mean. I safely escorted your friend back to the mansion. What could you be referring to?" Enoch feigned ignorance, looking serious enough to make Aurora doubt if he was involved in Scarlet’s strange mood that morning.

"I saw you on her bed this morning. She seemed upset after you two were separated. Are you really clueless about this?" Aurora persisted, refusing to back down.

Enoch understood that it was better not to talk further for Scarlet’s sake, as she didn’t want him involved in her affairs.

"Did you check if she’s feeling unwell or not? I woke up on her bed because she was too drunk to realize who I was," he calmly explained. After considering his words, Aurora understood his point.

Indeed, they were complete strangers, and it was already bizarre that they had woken up on the same bed. Why should he be held responsible for her mood? Moreover, it was better to not bring out something out of nothing, as Scarlet didn’t like attention.

"You are right, I’m sorry," she apologized.

"It’s fine, let’s get going," Enoch replied and suggested.

Aurora nodded, and they proceeded to the dining room.

Upon entering, everyone was already seated. Sarah occupied her usual spot beside Dave, and the only seat left near Damien was for Enoch. The only available seat was far away from Damien and the rest, so Aurora decided to take that one.

Just as she was about to sit, a familiar and annoying voice called out, stopping her from bending down any further. He pointed towards Enoch’s seat, instructing her to sit there.

"What about..." she began to ask, but Enoch swiftly took her seat, making himself comfortable in it. They both seemed determined to walk her into hell.

"Alright," she replied solemnly and reluctantly moved to occupy Enoch’s seat.
