"Stay back!" She shouted at him, retreating until the room’s corner swallowed her up against the wardrobe.

"What do you mean, stay back? Don’t forget you are bound to me as my breeder," he said, leveraging their contract against her.

"I didn’t forget, it’s just that you look a bit untidy at the moment," she tried to excuse herself, gesturing towards his appearance as she inched closer to the wardrobe.

"At this rate, you will end up inside the wardrobe. And whether you like my appearance or not won’t matter if I decide to have you," he asserted his authority over her. She regretted ever signing that contract, why did she have to fulfill his every whim?

"I am unwell, I just survived an accident. Surely, you wouldn’t be so cruel as to do this now, right?" She attempted to guilt-trap him, hoping it might work. However, he seemed unaffected, wearing a naughty and indifferent expression, as if he hadn’t heard her at all.

He closed in on her, pressing his hands against the wardrobe, trapping her in his hold.

Their eyes locked, his filled with lust, and hers with embarrassment. Damien smirked, teasingly edging closer to her lips, then blowing on them to make her flinch.

Blinking rapidly as she met his bare chest, her mind started to wander, but she tried to regain focus. "N..No, I don’t want a baby," she stammered, flustered by their close proximity.

Just when she thought she might lose her mind, Damien suddenly stepped away and walked towards the bathroom.

"I was only going to take a bath. You look all red!" he teased before disappearing into the bathroom, leaving her alone in the room.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Aurora slumped to the ground, realizing she wouldn’t survive his seduction if it continued. Maybe her lack of experience with men made her more susceptible to these temptations.

But in the end, she knew she would have to sleep with him eventually to bear a child. However, getting pregnant wasn’t going as smoothly as she had hoped.

Recalling her original intention, she realized his left arm was perfectly fine, and he didn’t seem sick at all. Of course, that arrogant man would be tough to defeat.

Leaving his room before he emerged from the bathroom, Aurora returned to her own room, feeling hopeless. Scarlet, who had been waiting for her, grew concerned at her disheartened expression. The pack doctor had been dismissed when Aurora took too long to come back.

"What happened?" Scarlet approached her, worriedly. Aurora lay on her stomach on the bed, shaking her head repeatedly.

"Have you ever been with a man?" Aurora suddenly sat up and asked Scarlet, who seemed taken aback by the question.

"W...What do you mean? Do you have someone you like?" Scarlet deflected, changing the topic.

"I wish. It’s about someone I know who’s having trouble with a man. She’s just someone I know," Aurora emphasized, trying to hide her real thoughts.

Smirking, Scarlet guessed it was about Aurora and the Alpha. ’So she went to see Damien?’ she thought, chuckling.

"Okay, go on," Scarlet played along.

"You see, there is this lady who is supposed to fulfill her promise of being with a man, but she doesn’t know how to do it. She’s lost and you know..." Aurora rattled on, not knowing where the direction of her explanation was going and if Scarlet was falling for it.

Gazing at her, she could see that Scarlet had an unbothered expression and was waiting for her to continue.

Suddenly, Scarlet busted into laughter and revealed, "I know it’s you and Damien. Just tell me what’s wrong, I won’t be judgmental."

Aurora knew she couldn’t easily fool her best friend, they lived together for five years so Scarlet must have seen through her. Besides, she was a very bad liar, no one would believe her lies.

"Really?" She asked, referring to what Scarlet said about not being judgmental.

"Yes, spill the beans!" Scarlet assured and urged.

Aurora hesitated, then began to ramble about the situation. Scarlet could see her struggle to explain what was happening between them.

Realizing she couldn’t keep it from Scarlet, Aurora finally admitted, "I thought getting pregnant would be easy, but I get nervous whenever he tries to get close. I don’t know what to do."

Scarlet comforted her, "Go easy on yourself. It’s normal to be nervous, especially if you haven’t been with a man before. Tell me, what exactly is the problem?"

"I don’t think I’m ready," Aurora admitted, reluctantly revealing her deepest fear.

"No one’s ever fully ready, we just try to be. Let me help you with this. Have you both been intimate?" Scarlet asked directly, causing Aurora to blush in embarrassment.

"Not really, just physical contact. Like... here," Aurora blinked, indicating the spot on her neck where Damien usually sucked.

"I see. Did you like it?" Scarlet probed further.

Blushing even more, Aurora looked away and nodded slowly. Scarlet found her innocence endearing and decided to ease off the direct questions before Aurora exploded with embarrassment.

"The only problem here is getting you ready, you are not repulsed by his advances," Scarlet pointed out.

"How do we do that?" Aurora asked seriously.

"By seeking help from an intimacy expert, Theresa."
