Alpha Damien's Breeder: The first night -
Chapter 101: Alpha’s Sex toy
Chapter 101: Alpha’s Sex toy
"Huh?" Sarah was bewildered.
With a tut, she began, "The liquid takes at least five days to start taking effect. So we would threaten him with the antidote. You said he values his life, right?" she asked.
"Yes?"
"Then he would do anything to get the antidote. We will obtain a confession from him within five days, expel Aurora from the mansion, provide him with the antidote, and secure your position as Luna. It’s a win-win, can’t you see?" Laura had meticulously mapped out her plan, and Sarah was starting to see its merits.
"Do you have the antidote?" Sarah asked, recognizing its importance above all else. She couldn’t risk anything at this moment. This might be their only opportunity to remove Aurora entirely before Damien’s return.
"Yes, it’s in the cupboard," Laura replied, sounding confident about the availability of the antidote.
"Alright, Mother. How many drops?" Sarah asked as she took hold of the bottle.
"Two drops are sufficient. Make sure he takes them, and be there to witness it," Laura cautioned.
"Understood," Sarah nodded in response.
"When I thought everything was going south for us, who knew Goddess Selena had a better plan in store. I will be the most influential mother-in-law after your marriage. I can’t wait," Laura expressed her joy, envisioning how everything would work in their favor.
"Me too, Mother. I can’t wait to have Damien," Sarah sighed, reminiscing about her rocky initial encounter with Damien. Things had started off poorly between them, but she was determined to fix it after they were married. Men couldn’t be pushed, it only took one mistake to lose them. She wasn’t here to make mistakes but to claim her man.
"You already have him, darling. Your wedding is just ten days away, don’t stress yourself. We should get Maiden Juliet here to prepare you for pregnancy," Laura suggested.
"Mother, isn’t that too soon?" Sarah blushed at the thought of her first night with Damien. Werewolves had a strong libido, especially Alphas. Her first night would be intense, but she wasn’t a virgin, so it shouldn’t matter.
"Don’t be shy, it’s perfectly normal," Laura teased.
"Mother, what if he makes a scene because I am not a virgin?" A sudden concern crossed her mind. Most Luna candidates were chosen as virgins, a preference among werewolves that somehow boosted their ego.
"Who cares? It will happen at night, and we can handle that," Laura replied with a meaningful smirk.
"Okay, Mother," Sarah sighed in relief. As long as her mother was by her side, she was confident that everything would go smoothly.
Outside Laura’s room, Charlotte stood, her heart racing from what she had just heard. She couldn’t believe what Sarah and her mother were plotting against Aurora. She had noticed the increasingly happy atmosphere surrounding the mother and daughter duo recently, and it had raised suspicions.
At first, she had assumed it was because the wedding was just days away, and they were about to become members of Damien’s pack. Little did she know that something much more sinister was happening behind everyone’s backs.
Charlotte was here to assist Sarah, not to sabotage her, but this was something she couldn’t ignore. If she told Theresa or Dave, it might strain their long-standing friendship, so her only option was to talk Sarah out of whatever they were planning.
She couldn’t believe Sarah could be this malicious. While she was aware of Sarah’s questionable behavior, she had always chosen to overlook it because she wanted to be a good friend. But this was crossing a line, as Aurora didn’t seem like a bad person. Moreover, judging by how Damien treated her, he must hold her in high regard. What if everything backfired on Sarah?
Deep in thought, Charlotte pondered whether to inform Theresa about what was transpiring or to continue being a loyal friend.
"Char...lotte," the door to Laura’s room swung open, and Sarah emerged. She hadn’t expected to see Charlotte there, and judging by the expression on her face, she must have overheard something.
"I...hey... I was looking for you," Sarah greeted Charlotte awkwardly, waving a hand in her direction.
"I was with Mother," Sarah replied with a smile.
"Can we talk?" Charlotte asked, breaking the awkward silence.
"Alright," Sarah agreed, knowing what Charlotte wanted to discuss. Looking down at her hands, Charlotte noticed the bottle, and Sarah quickly concealed it behind her back.
"Where should we talk?" Charlotte asked, diverting her attention away from the liquid.
"Alright, let’s go to my room," Charlotte replied and began leading the way to her room.
Once they arrived in her room, Sarah firmly shut the door behind her and discreetly pocketed the key.
"So, I didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but I couldn’t help it. Sarah, what are you planning?" Charlotte got straight to the point, not beating around the bush.
"Planning? I have no idea what you mean," Sarah denied, feigning innocence.
"Don’t pretend here. Why are you trying to implicate Aurora? What did she do?" Charlotte asked.
"Implicate? I am merely ensuring that a criminal is brought to justice. How is that an implication?" Sarah responded.
"Criminal? What’s going on, Sarah?" Charlotte’s face turned into a frown at the mention of the word "criminal," and her mood shifted to a more serious tone. She moved closer to Sarah, her curiosity piqued, and she wanted to know what had really transpired.
"I caught Aurora stealing in Dave’s room, so I did what was right," she revealed.
"Can you prove that she actually stole something? Did you see her with anything? And why didn’t you tell Dave?" Charlotte bombarded her with questions, seeking more information.
"I... I tried to tell him before he left, but I couldn’t," Sarah stammered, trying to come up with an excuse.
"Sarah, you and I both know Aurora is innocent. I don’t know what you think you saw, but why would she steal something so recklessly? You don’t even have any evidence, and you are taking this very seriously. Aren’t you afraid of the consequences?" Charlotte found it exasperating that Sarah would resort to such careless actions just to get rid of Aurora.
"Should I be afraid of reporting a criminal just because she’s the Alpha’s sex toy?" Sarah retorted.
"A sex toy that he values, Sarah!" Charlotte raised her voice, causing a moment of silence in the room.
Sarah hadn’t expected Charlotte to shout at her in defense of a stranger.
Charlotte realized her outburst and covered her face with her hands in frustration before saying, "I know you want to secure your position as his Luna, but this is not the right path, Sarah. The patient dog gets the fattest bone. He advanced your wedding date, shouldn’t that give you enough hope? Why are you complicating things for yourself?" She advised, trying to make Sarah see the mistake she was making.
"Charlotte, you know better than anyone what it’s like to wait for a man’s love. You were patient, but you couldn’t win his love in the end. Why do you want me to follow the same path?" Sarah taunted Charlotte, reminding her of her past.
"What did you just say?" Charlotte was taken aback by the taunt. Sarah had been her source of comfort back then, and she wondered if it had all been insincere and meant to mock her later.
"I am sorry, but it’s the truth," Sarah apologized, although her tone didn’t convey remorse.
"Are you mocking me because I am trying to help you? And for your information, I gained the love of a wonderful man. Ronald is the reward I received for being patient, I didn’t lose anything," Charlotte retorted.
"Deep down, we both know you still love Dave and wouldn’t hesitate to be with him if he confessed," Sarah’s words left Charlotte speechless. She took a step back and bowed her head, acknowledging the possibility that Sarah might be right.
When Dave had confessed in the car three days ago, Charlotte had felt a yearning to accept his confession. However, the thought of betraying Ronald had reminded her of her senses.
"See, I was right. So don’t tell me what to do when you are still entangled in your own web. I know what I am doing, and no one can stop me from achieving my goal," Sarah asserted with finality before turning to leave.
"Sarah, please listen to me. Don’t do this, let go of Aurora," Charlotte pleaded, her voice tinged with desperation. She knew there was no turning back if Sarah delved further into this.
"Charlotte, I have always known that we could never be best friends. We just don’t click," Sarah disapproved, shaking her head.
"I promise to leave the mansion if you stop whatever you are doing to Aurora," she proposed, making a deal.
"You don’t have to worry about that, it’s already been arranged," Sarah’s voice turned cold, and her true colors were revealed for the first time in front of Charlotte. It was as though she was with a stranger, and Charlotte couldn’t fathom how quickly she had transformed.
"Were we ever friends?" Charlotte wondered.
"N and O. Which is No. Adíos," Sarah declared before leaving Charlotte’s room and locking the door behind her.
