"Scarlet, you've finally returned home." The demon smirked as he turned to them. The expression on his face was quite relaxed, maybe even more cocky.

"What are you doing here?" Scarlet's eyes narrowed. Two contrasting emotions occurred inside the room: one was dark and evil, while the other was leisure. 

"Obviously, to meet my fiancee? Is there a problem with that?" Draezar got up, prepared to pull her into his arms. But that only caused Scarlet to swat his hand away. 

“I’m not your wife.” “She’s not your wife!” Scarlet and Tharaziel said it simultaneously. Clearly, the royal duo was hostile towards this person. However, the demon didn't care, and he smirked, “How can you not be my fiancee? We’re already arranged to be married to one another.” 

"We're not." Scarlet scoffed, "I initiated that."

"..." What did you initiate? The way you said it...don't tell me you plan to blow something up?

“That just makes it worse. You’ll soon be mine.”

“No, that won’t happen.”

“What?” Draezar laughed, “Do you think there's anyone who can defeat me?”

“Yes.” Scarlet pulled Keith close, “Because he will.”  

“...” “What?” Keith remained silent while Tharaziel slammed his hands onto the table, sweating at this sudden announcement. The one who should be reacting like this should be Draezar, not you, kid. 

Draezar stared at Keith before turning over to Scarlet, “Heh? Is this some kind of joke? Do you think this puny human can beat me?” 

“He can. That’s why I will nominate him to participate in the tournament.”

“...” Draezar looked at Keith; the human had been silent the entire time. He still was. 

“Tsk, such a weakling.” Draezar laughed as he headed for the door, “Be prepared to be my wife after I defeat all those losers.” He licked his lips as he walked out of the room. And once he was out of there, Tharaziel slammed his fist to the table again, “That bastard!”  

“Calm down.” 

“How can I, Sister? Did you see how the guy was leering at your body? It was disgusting.” That demon didn't even hide his intention the whole time; the way Draezar stared was so obvious and apparent. Like an item that was his. 

“...” Scarlet said nothing. It was clear she felt disgusted. As she was wondering about all of this, 

“Now, we need to have a little talk about this.” Keith had a smile on his face as he stared at her. And that alone was enough to cause her to sweat!

"..." There was a disturbing silence that loomed over the pergola. Of course, it should happen! Keith sat in a seat while he stared at Scarlet menacingly. It was unlike anything anyone had seen before. Lilith was now sitting on the side while holding onto Eri. She was now watching the situation unfolding with interest. 

“So tell me, Scarlet, what’s this about me being your champion?” This was news to him.

“Well, you see…” Scarlet acted meek before she looked up at him, “I did say I was going to ask you for help. So here’s the help!”

“...”

“I’m sorry.” Scarlet immediately looked down, “But this is the only way I could think of to stop all of this. And this is not your first time doing something like this!”

“Hmm?”

“You did this for Krystal and you wedding snatched Carolyn as well.” True, this was not the first time that happened. 

“Where did you hear about this?!” The Carolyn incident was something he would deny till he was under. But the Krystal one was a whole nother matter! They went there and dealt with her uncle. That was it! He told no one about the proposal he had made.

“Ahh, I heard about it when Faelyn and I asked her.” The woman didn’t hide it at all when the elf and demon pestered her about it. Even if they didn’t, it said it all on their face. That was how much his words had affected him.  

“Oh my,” Lilith held her hands to her mouth, “To think you did something like this. That’s quite an interesting thing.” Stealing a wife was quite rare.

“So why can’t you do it for me?”

“Do you think I want to do all of those things?! It was at the moment.”

“And you can’t do that for me?!”

“Why does it sound like I’m the one at fault?!” Keith felt the script was flipped!

“It’s your fault!” Scarlet pouted, “Do you want to see me with another man.”

“No. Definitely not with that guy.” Keith didn’t like her with him. It was such a horrible match that he didn’t know what to say about it.  

“Then you’ll be my champion! Thank you so much.”

“...” I can’t with this woman. Keith sighed as he flicked her head, “Fine, but you need to tell me about what’s going on. I’m so out of the loop.” What was this about being her champion?
