Dont be fooled by the name of the story, he is not truly AFK or doing nothing in a Zombie Apocalypse setting. The pace of the story is not very fast but not boring, the details are very well though and makes sense. His character is very interesting and although he looked like a reckless person all of his decisions and actions are planned, a very decisive individual. Although the story has a lot of chapters, I think its not even passed the half of it. Aside from his ability to control zombie, he also acquired other skills. The side characters were also interesting and entertaining.

Like the MC, decisive and not naive. He kills all his enemies and help his peers to get stronger. However, the plot is repetitive like most of xianxia novels. Gets stronger, move to another place, cultivate for a while become strong, move to another place again, etc. You can even guess what will happen next.

Although the pattern of the same of another novel - Im Actually a Cultivation Big Shot, the story does not evolve around the MC but from the adventures of his disciples. The creativity in making techniques and how his disciples managed to cultivate them is still a mystery lol. But clearly a must read, the fight scenes and times how our MC shows his strength is really cool.

I love this novel, the rebirth of the MC and his quest to be the top player in a game is fun to read. However, with so many details, most of the time the author lose track of it, and some outsider reactions were made to prolong the story, if you dont mind it, its great. With the release of Book 2, with more than 1k chapters, I thought it will end there. Who would have thought that all this time its all a simulation! Im still waiting for the appearance of his other notable guild members and bring his guild to the peak again.
