Global Game: AFK In The Zombie Apocalypse Game

Read up to 2859~ and my experience was delightful 10/10.

~  world building is chefs kiss

~  pacing is good

~ easy to read and understand

~ the story is satisfying

~ Dont trust the 1 star review. Trust me it's definitely worth the read

~ The title is a bit ehh. It only takes place on the early chapters and the further you read the story the more the plot thickens.

~ Almost all the characters have actual sense in them and not just those brainless idiots.

The story is good, and has a suprising low number of surface level plot holes. By surface level, I mean when you are reading, you might not see any plot holes but if you think properly some things might not make sense. Also many things are convenient for mc. Convenient is an understatement here. Every plan of mc works which might be little boring.

But other than that I have no complaints. The characters are interesting. The plot is also good and super expansive. I am currently in chapter 650, but the story still has lot to cover. The mc is cool. 

Give it a try. You might like it.

The novel is really fun, the mc has lots of convenient stuff happen to him which might be downer for some, the power system as yet doesn't have any fantasy aspects it's essentially just sci-fi, the setting is a game but not exactly a game and there is a slight amnesiac aspect to the mc, the real world hasn't been explored much, I’m on 256 and I'll add to this every 500 excluding the next one o7

I’m on chapter ~1700 but stopped reading because I’m burned out from reading so much of this novel at once. Somehow the author can progress the story without making the mc too overpowered and at the same time making everything feel substantial.

One thing that might be a turn off for some is that the mc always gains stuff without losing out on anything, but personally I find that satisfying, this is a fantasy after all.

The one star review is not to be trusted, imo who reviews something and has half of the review being ‘I don’t remember if …’ 💀 if you don’t remember the story well why are you reviewing it dog

Anyway that dude probably got annoyed somewhere and forgot the whole story then left a half baked review.

Love that there is no romance or Pokémon collection of random characters.

TLDR Anyways, the title is a bit misleading, no spoilers but the progression is top notch. Id read it if you mildly like semi op action stuff. Its not brainlessly op, the mc has a brain

I don't why people gave it 5 star since most of the characters are aggressive and got offended for no reason. He didn't actually smart or anything,he just simply take more when doing anything ( I didn't remember if there's racism and nationalism, but there's high percentage that they were)

Dont be fooled by the name of the story, he is not truly AFK or doing nothing in a Zombie Apocalypse setting. The pace of the story is not very fast but not boring, the details are very well though and makes sense. His character is very interesting and although he looked like a reckless person all of his decisions and actions are planned, a very decisive individual. Although the story has a lot of chapters, I think its not even passed the half of it. Aside from his ability to control zombie, he also acquired other skills. The side characters were also interesting and entertaining.

It’s a surprisingly captivating story given it’s large chapter count. The plot is actually interesting but leaves some plot holes left unexplained. The MC is actually makes smart decisions rather than be hailed as a “genius” like in most novels but makes trash decisions. Romance is basically nil. The translation was bad but has become better in the 1000+.

tl;dr. It’s good. Give it a fair shot.

Addendum: The devil seed arc is a bit out of place for me. Still well written but it’s such a plot whiplash from the previous arcs.
