y'all are so mad about her "cheating", getting mad on the mc's behalf, but like if you guys were reading the novel you'd know that the mc has said on multiple occasions that they didn't really like each other when dating and the mc was mistreating her, and although she technically cheated they were basically in the equivalent of a middle school relationship where they were dating just because they could, not because they liked each other. she found someone she likes and made a move. not to mention the fact that Lily herself know that was a shitty thing to do and feels bad for it, and the mc also doesn't even care and thinks it was only expected for Lily to do that.
my standings about religion are agnostic, as i don't particularly think it is impossible that a higher being exists albeit extremely improbable (although thats not the target of this discussion). In my opinion, I think the entire premise of religion is kinda stupid, with people needing a "blind faith" to follow to not become lost. I guess this is from my own personal view, but i've never even entertained the idea of blind faith because it just doesn't follow logic. many times in life i have been lost, and broken to the point where others may have contemplated taking an extreme. despite that though, what kept me held onto reality and not considering any extreme measures, was just pure logic. I think all humans need is a faith in ourselves, and an understanding that nothing will be changed if we don't take action ourselves. why need something as fragile as "blind faith" when the most reliable - and easiest - thing you could do, is have faith in yourself. out of room, but that's about it
thanks for the recommendation, if you're reading this novel for the first time i do recommend you continue as i got to chapter 95ish since i posted this comment, and for as much as ive read the story seems to be really good. only downside i can think of is the mc not having any "friends" or people he cares about

it is good but try city of sins, it has one of the best intros out there
what a great chapter! our great future hero and fatty wang participated in a shocking match, which i presume will only heat up more in the next chapter! fatty wang, as one of the nobility and strongest of his generation, refuses to believe that a nobody like our great future hero could ever beat him and their group. However, our great future hero proceeds to prove him wrong, using his origin card, the long awaited "uno reverse"! our great future hero uses his uno reverse on fatty wang, taking out an identical version of fatty wang's own origin card, shocking him to the core! how will fatty wang deal with this challenge in the next chapter? will he be powerless and lose, manage to overcome this challenge and win, or will our favorite ex young master step in!?
wow, this battle has evolved to a different level! with our shameless ex young master running away, our great future hero has just finished a tough verbal battle with the beautiful shadow, resulting in his defeat! the physical fight, however, seems to be different. with his clear mind, he quickly gains the advantage in the fight against the beautiful shadow. yet, with a crazy turn of events, our great future hero is ambushed by a species i like to call "fatty wang", a lackey of our favorite ex young master! what will happen next? tune into the next chapter to find out!
ooooh! looks like our shameless ex young master over here has pulled an unexpected card, 'simp swarm'! this card is truly one of the most innovative of its era, and surprisingly easy to acquire for a beautiful girl!
