I do feel bad for aurora ngl (also, is she a potential love interest? I mean, they're technically cousins, but I'm guessing the branch families are so far removed from the main family genetically wise that they could be considered strangers)
currently no romance and it seems that if there is any it'll be much later in the novel. if you like novels with cheerful and nice mcs that is liked by everyone in their world, this is probably the exact opposite of that
if you read my comment a little bit closer you'll see that I said that the ending to the volume was one of the best, not the entire volume itself. I know the volume as a whole isn't the best and had some flaws, boring and cringe moments, but even despite that stuff the volume as a whole was really good albeit not comparable to top novels. the ending is the best part and is comparable to top novels , not the rest of the volume.
