This is a good novel but there are many problems with it, my main problem is the lack of exposition to explain what the world is like (World building is bad). Due to that there are many assumptions that need to be made. Other than that there are translation issues. Pacing is also an issue, while I understand it sometimes but others it feels like the author is repeating the same thing over and over again. Another issue is the Chinese type low effort aura farming that happens is poorly written. The planet development is fun to read but the competitions are mid for me most of the time. The concept of the novel is a 10/10 but the execution is a 6.5/10.
Here is some head canon plot corrections (and some just clarification) that explain some of the things that happen:
Middle school = High school
Assume he is in the final year of high school and that is when they all awaken their planets and have 3 months to prepare for their college exams.
Using his system he is able to know the perfect environment to create a natural planet similar to earth. It allows him to create a world with no world ending virus or other conditions which allows him to speed up time without worry. It also allowed him to choose his energy within the ordinary grade (You usually get a random energy of your planet grade). The awaking is random and different for every person but for some reason people that were popular before get better planet sizes so there might be a way to get a head start by buying more origin energy of something of the like.
The place that he is reincarnated in is never specified so I created my own idea of it to fit some of the things that are revealed. I imagine it as a separate dimension where humans get to become demigods. When they awaken a planet they create a planet in a parallel dimension with the gateway to it being your mind. When you die others can claim this gateway but they don’t claim your right to godhood of that planet. If no one claims it, anyone can enter if they get to a matching area in their own dimension.
The reason why being a planet master has any significance is because you can bring out the materials and knowledge that you gain on the planet but you can only put something in (other than origin energy) is by sealing it in a crystal by a high ranking planet master. Planet masters get stronger physically along with their planet (and maybe even get longer life or other powers).
The knowledge of the planets is widely used, mainly talismans and formations of the immortal civilizations. By doing so they didn’t develop with science and don’t think highly of the path. Guns are mentioned once in this world but it’s later stated that they don’t know what gun powder is so it’s safe to say that they don’t have guns but maybe something similar.
there are other things that don't make sense like his refusal to actively help his civilization and the weird scientific timeline.
This is my review from chapter 235 and I plan to continue reading. Although I rated it a 6.5, with my head canon I would say my enjoyment is a 7.5 - 8 range.
